Continuing "Brain Shivers" Withdrawing from Paxil

Antidepressants

:...one does not just "stop" taking a serotonin reuptake drug."

I took Paxil for about eight months. I wanted to get off of them because I just felt it was unhealthy to be on them, so I stopped. I am here to tell you...one does not just "stop" taking a serotonin reuptake drug. I cannot convey to you how sick I got. I have heard many say they felt like they were experiencing a bout of the flu. All I can say is I wish it were only like having the flu. I could not take the withdrawals so my Doc put me back on them and told me to get off slowly. I did that. I halved a 20 mg pill for 2 months then I began halving that for several more months. I halved the half for a month, then stopped. Well, here I sit today in front of this computer so sick of being "Sick" that I could just die!! I; however do not want to die, so I sit here and try desperately to find someone on this internet that can tell me that the nausea and these "brain shivers" that ZAP my brain every little bit will ever go away. I have been off of the Paxil for almost two months now. I am wandering if I have permanently damaged my brain.
