REM Sleep Disorder: Aspiring Pastor Accused of Stabbing Wife to Death

Aspiring Pastor Accused of Killing Wife in His Sleep Blames Cold Medicine: ‘I Can’t Believe I Did This’

A 28-year-old North Carolina man is facing a murder charge after allegedly stabbing his wife in bed — but the newlywed claims he doesn’t remember carrying out the alleged crime because he might have done it in his sleep, PEOPLE confirms.

Matthew Phelps, of Raleigh, called police distraught early Friday morning, declaring that his wife, Lauren, was dead on their bedroom floor covered in blood.

“I had a dream and then I turned on the lights and she’s dead on the floor,” he says in a 911 call obtained by PEOPLE. “I have blood all over me and there’s a bloody knife on the bed and I think I did it. I can’t believe this.”

Warning went out to NC pastors in 2008

What is really extra sad about this is that my article Sorcery and Spirituality http://www.drugawareness.org/articles/spirituality-and-sorcery came from an article a minister, Rev. George Malkmus, at Halleluah Acres, in NC asked me to write for his followers back in 2008. This is an article I ask all the time for everyone to take to their church leaders so that they will have this warning from the scriptures about this terrible plague of these deadly drugs that we were told would deceive the whole world in our day and would be the cause of death for many.

The Deception:

#1 We now know the approval for these drugs was bribed.  “I indirectly contributed to the death of . . . people, whose shadows now haunt me.”…. Dr. John Virapen Listen to him confess that here: http://new.drugawareness.org/meet-dr-john-virapen-the-man-who-bought-prozacs-approval/
#2 But that was only the beginning of the deception. From there it has gotten worse with Dr. Candace Pert whose research made all these drugs possible coming out against them in 1997…I AM ALARMED AT THE SSRI MONSTER I CREATED…. http://new.drugawareness.org/i-am-alarmed-at-the-monster-ssrisnri-antidepressants-i-created-dr-candace-pert/
#3 The serotonin hypothesis is backwards – serotonin never was low in depression, anxiety, etc. Research demonstrated it was elevated in those disorders due to an inability to metabolize serotonin – exactly what antidepressants do – inhibit the reuptake (metabolism) of serotonin! As I explained at the FDA hearing in September of 2004: https://youtu.be/BS-OXxmtFaE?list=PLVC0WUxi0530sZYe8rvs-8fZwP0M-5xdG

September 2004 Mark Taylor & Spoke of Antidepressants on the 700 Club

After we finished testimony at the FDA and learned of the Black Box Warning to be put into place Mark Taylor, his mother, Donna, and I drove down the East Coast to Florida for a case I had there very similar to this young aspiring pastor which had been the result of cold turkey withdrawal from Effexor. On our way we stopped in NC to film a piece with the 700 Club which you can see on the video about Mark and his case against Pharma and the retaliation they have taken against him for speaking out – which has only grown increasingly far worse since the film was put together in 2013:  Mark Taylor’s Fight for Columbine:

Dextromethorphan in Cough, Cold & Sleep Medications is Serotonergic

We have been warning about cough medications and antidepressant use forever! The ingredient Dextromethorphan is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor and will magnify the adverse effects of these drugs while on them or in withdrawal from them. I would suspect one would need to avoid them for many years after coming off. Kids call this ingredient Dex and they have been getting high on it for decades. It can produce a PCP effect, but as most of you should now know all of these antidepressants can do that as well. If you have not yet spent hours on our main website to learn all the cautions you need to take, I would suggest you commit yourselves to do that NOW! Something like this is certainly not worth taking a chance on! But learn from this article on this deadly sleep disorder that 86% of these cases involve someone who is currently on an antidepressant or making changes in the dose of an antidepressant. It has long been known as a drug withdrawal state. We do not yet know if this young man was on an antidepressant, but NC has long been known for having one of the highest rates of use nationwide. So chances of him being on one or having been on one in the past are high.  If you look at this case out of Washington State you will see a REM Sleep Disorder explained by a young man who took a gun to school when he was 16 and held his classmates at gunpoint for 45 minutes and today, almost 20 years later still has no memory of it. He was being switched over from a year on Paxil to Effexor…

Dangerous RBD Sleep Disorder From Antidepressants

During normal REM sleep the muscles in the body become paralyzed and only keeps the necessary functions of the body working such as respiration, heart beat, etc. There are a small group of cells in the brain stem that control REM (dreaming sleep). When these cells become injured or diseased, people do not experience the muscle paralysis associated with REM sleep, which can lead to REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD)-a serious condition in which the afflicted violently act out their dreams.
In this sleep state known as RBD, people have been known, not only to drive, but to do things completely uncharacteristic of themselves such as fight like a military person although never serving in the military, become promiscuous, but also even to murder those close to them and to take their own lives in this sleep state. Murder and suicide have long been known to be a symptom of REM sleep disorder. This is an unconscious state without normal inhibitions and full of automatic behavior based on whatever dream you may be having.
This link http://www.oddee.com/item_96680.aspx will show you some of the MANY possibilities when you are acting out your dreams or nightmares while experiencing RBD. At drugawareness.org we have many of these types of cases which were induced by the use of antidepressants. Keep in mind that the most common side effect of antidepressants is insomnia, especially in withdrawal, so those in antidepressant withdrawal often have their chances of experiencing RBD increased by being prescribed drugs similar to Ambien.
Over 80% of those who go into RBD hurt themselves or others. I have one book I have written on RBD and am finishing up an ebook now. Although rare in the past we are seeing more and more of this deadly disorder. While drugs similar to Zolpidem (Ambien) are found in 3% of these cases what few are aware of is the research by America’s two foremost experts on this disorder showing that 86% of the cases they are diagnosing with RBD are patients currently taking an antidepressant. But because RBD has long been known as a “drug withdrawal state” the risk of RBD in antidepressant withdrawal or Zolpidem and similar drugs could be far greater!
The worst of this disorder is when it is a nightmare you are experiencing when you go into this sleepwalk state. For two decades I have listened to people repeat over and over to me after coming safely off an antidepressant, “I acted out my worst nightmare on this drug!” And, as I testified before the FDA, this previously rare sleep disorder of RBD is exactly what comedian Phil Hartman’s wife experienced when she shot her famous husband under the influence of two serotonergic drugs: Zoloft and Ultram (Tramadol).

Neurontin and Lyrica are a Death Sentence for New Brain Synapses

A shocking study shows that these two drugs block the formation of new brain synapses1, drastically reducing the potential for rejuvenating brain plasticity – meaning that these drugs will cause brain decline that apparently robs one of the ability to rebuild. The study demonstrating this type of brain damage with these two drugs came out in 2009 but apparently the media has been very lax in getting any of this information to the public – most likely because they do not want to jeopardize their advertising income from this company.
But the patients are not the only ones not getting this information because the doctors are apparently clueless as well. I say that because first our Facebook group for these two drugs “Neurontin (Gabapentin) & Lyrica (Pregabalin) Should Be Illegal” is growing so quickly. Then this past Spring my brother working on some things in the backyard pulled a muscle in his back. I was shocked to learn that he had gone to the doctor for that and the doctor gave him a prescription for Neurontin!
When I asked when he had started having seizures that he would need an anti-seizure medication for he said, “What?!”
I had to explain to him that Neurontin is an anti-seizure medication and that the company had received two huge fines, totaling billions, from the FDA for prescribing it for anything else. And in 2010 they were even found guilty of RICO, yes racketeering, for encouraging doctors to prescribe this drug off label – for things it is not approved for-like pulling a muscle in your back! Then I shared with him the information in this study indicating the brain damage from the drug at which point he understandably decided not to take the drug.
Although I have included the full article on this below this is the link to the article which you need to follow to find the full research study if you want to take it to your doctor to educate him: https://www.wellnessresources.com/news/neurontin-and-lyrica-are-a-death-sentence-for-new-brain-synapses#ref1
Now my question is why on earth has the FDA not pulled these drugs from the market in light of this study? I ask that because before this study the worst I had seen in producing brain damage were the diet pills Fen-Phen and Redux which were pulled from the market due to the brain damage they produced … even though the media convinced the world those drugs were pulled because of the heart and lung damage. It was the brain damage the FDA was concerned about and had required studies from the maker to prove its safety. Something they had not yet done before Dr. Una Mc Cann at NIH put out a study showing the most horrific brain damage. Those drugs were pulled only days later.

Neurontin and Lyrica are a Death Sentence for New Brain Synapses

October 15, 2009 | Byron J. Richards, Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist

Neurontin and Lyrica are a Death Sentence for New Brain Synapses

Neurontin and its newer more potent version, Lyrica, are widely used for off-label indications that are an outright flagrant danger to the public. These blockbuster drugs were approved for use even though the FDA had no idea what they actually did in the brain. A shocking new study shows that they block the formation of new brain synapses1, drastically reducing the potential for rejuvenating brain plasticity – meaning that these drugs will cause brain decline faster than any substance known to mankind.

The problem of these drugs is compounded by their flagrant illegal marketing. Neurontin was approved by the FDA for epilepsy back in 1994. The drug underwent massive illegal off-label promotion that cost Warner-Lambert 430 million dollars (the very first big fine for off-label promotion). The drug is now owned by Pfizer. Pfizer also owns Lyrica, a super-potent version of Neurontin. It has been approved by the FDA for various types of pain and fibromyalgia. Lyrica is one of four drugs which a subsidiary of Pfizer illegally marketed, resulting in a $2.3 billion settlement against Pfizer.

Even though the marketing of these drugs has been heavily fined, they continue to rack up billions in sales from the off-label uses. Doctors use them for all manner of nerve issues because they are good at suppressing symptoms. However, such uses can no longer be justified because the actual mechanism of the drugs is finally understood and they are creating a significant long-term reduction in nerve health.

The researchers in the above study try to downplay the serious nature of the drugs by saying “adult neurons don’t form many new synapses.” That is simply not true. The new science is showing that brain health during aging relies on the formation of new synapses. Even these researchers managed to question the common use of these medications in pregnant women. How is a fetus supposed to make new nerve cells when the mother is taking a drug that blocks them?

These are the kind of situations the FDA should be all over. As usual, the FDA is sitting around pondering a suicide warning for Lyrica while its off-label uses include bi-polar disorder and migraine headaches. The FDA is likely to twiddle its thumbs for the next decade on the brain damage issue. Consumer beware.

Henri Paul, Princess Di’s Driver

Henri Paul the driver who experienced the overwhelming cravings for alcohol so many have reported over the years suffering from Prozac and drugs like it. Then with Prozac boosting his blood alcohol level to triple the legal limit he then sped at a speed estimated at 120 mph – 4 times the posted speed limit – “driving like a bat out of hell” as patients repeatedly report themselves doing under the influence of antidepressants.

(Information on antidepressant-induced alcohol cravings:

My Call to the Paris Police

With the reports coming in of triple the legal limit of alcohol found in Henri Paul’s blood and the high rate of speed he was driving coupled with his family and friends saying he was not a drinker, yet he was being treated with another drug for alcohol withdrawal, this tragedy was beginning to scream Prozac to me. I had watched Diana’s life quite closely for years fearing that she would have a serious reaction to this drug that would endanger her life, but I had not considered that someone else’s use of the drug would be what could possibly take her life from her. But I immediately recognized the overwhelming cravings for alcohol I had witnessed non-stop with Prozac, then Zoloft, then Paxil – the reaction which first caught my attention to this whole group of drugs and caused me to continue on to write my book on them. After all I was living in Salt Lake City surrounded by Mormons who do not drink. Yet on these drugs they were becoming alcoholic almost over night and many of them were my good friends.

So with that experience I concluded the police needed to investigate this. I picked up the phone and called the police investigators in Paris to tell them they needed to test for Prozac and explained why I suspected they would find the drug. A week later in Paris the police publicly announced they had found therapeutic levels of Prozac in the blood of Henri Paul – a drug known to produce overwhelming cravings for alcohol and produce increased levels of alcohol in the blood. Ironically, or actually quite appropriately, on the same day at the University of Oslo in Norway my information on the overwhelming cravings for alcohol produced by the SSRI antidepressants was being presented.

Why would the police investigators listen to me where they may have dismissed just anyone else? The reason for that is because of a previous case I had worked with the lead police investigator there on another tragic Prozac case. The investigator had obtained a copy of my book and loved it! Now for those who have read my book, Prozac: Panacea or Pandora? – Our Serotonin Nightmare!, they will remember this case featured there that took place in France. That is the case of Kevin, from San Francisco, who was living in France with his German girlfriend.

Kevin’s mother reported to the FDA the following history of her son to show the total lack of depression in his life: “Kevin’s student years were happy years. He was a great source of joy to his parents. He had a thirst for life. His life is remembered as a series of vignettes – Kevin climbing the Great Wall of China; riding a camel to the Pyramids of Giza; watching with eager fascination the animals of the Serengetti; he skied during winter month vacations. He spent his summer months with his parents in a private hotel on the French Riviera. For Kevin it was like a summer home. Everyone remembers how popular he was with the staff; how disarming his irresistible love of life.”

“His curiosity and enthusiasm, the ease with which he made friends was always taking him off the beaten path. Once his parents took him with them to a Chamber of Commerce trip to the Soviet Union at a time when stringent security measures were still in force, Kevin went off on his own, met young people, enjoyed the amenities of Russian home life; all this to the amazement of nervous security people.” After graduating from Wharton he spent a year in Paris before he was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. He was upbeat about his situation over the next two years…”he never gave up planning his future, nor was he wasteful of time. He worked on a book, composed music, read a lot, played piano. He spoke of his new life to come. He said he wanted to marry and have a large family. He promised his parents many grandchildren.”

“Kevin cherished his father. As an example of his love, he wrote in one of his letters to him, ‘Dad, you are a masterpiece of a father’. When his father died Kevin was a great comfort in pulling his mother through her sudden loss.”

“The summer of 1990 Kevin felt much better, enough so that he was able to join his parents at their summer home in France and spend several months there. He returned home for Christmas. It was during that visit he had an appointment with his doctor and was given Prozac for the occasional headaches which lingered from his CFS. He had no idea that he had been given a mind-altering drug, an antidepressant. He had a fear of sedatives and did not like taking chances of toxic reactions from drugs.”

Yet out of the blue that summer after being prescribed Prozac for those few lingering headaches Kevin had stabbed his girlfriend to death, then spent hours butchering himself. We know it took hours because Kevin recorded it all. Although left handed, he severed his right hand with a dull kitchen knife. Kevin finally died after he rammed a pencil through his eye.

The verdict out of France after an extensive investigation into this case was that this very violent murder and suicide was indeed caused by the American drug, Prozac.

The news around the world began reporting the Prozac connection to this tragic accident that had just robbed the world of a woman loved by so many.

Diana Driver had ‘Criminally High’ Blood Alcohol Level

“PARIS: The driver of the Mercedes Benz that crashed and killed Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed Saturday night was apparently drunk at the time of the high-speed accident, Paris prosecutors said today.Investigators said that Henri Paul, the Ritz Hotel’s number two security man, had a blood alcohol level of 1.7 grams per liter of blood more than three times the legal limit. Paul was not Fayed’s regular driver, who was instead used as a decoy for the paparazzi that were hounding the couple.

“Investigators said that Henri Paul, the Ritz Hotel’s number two security man, had a blood alcohol level of 1.7 grams per liter of blood more than three times the legal limit. Paul was not Fayed’s regular driver, who was instead used as a decoy for the paparazzi that were hounding the couple.

“Though he had received special security driving training from Mercedes-Benz, medical experts say that Paul could have been drunk enough to stagger and have blurred vision. At the moment of the crash, he had to contend with driving an unwieldy, armored Mercedes at speeds more than triple the posted 30 mph limit all the while being pursued by paparazzi on motor scooters. When the car entered the 660-ft. tunnel on the Place de l’Alma, investigators say, it struck the concrete divider that separates the eastbound lanes from the westbound and apparently cartwheeled, overturning, then spinning nearly 180 degrees. Fayed and Paul were killed instantly; the car’s horn wailed under the weight of the chauffeur’s body slumped against the steering wheel. A doctor was among the first at the scene and attempted to aid Diana, who was conscious though gravely injured, in the back seat. She died four hours later at the hospital.”

http://content.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,9272,00.html

The following article states [paragraph 37, under Prozac]: According to Ronald J Diamond, M.D., of the University of Wisconsin Department of Psychiatry and Medical Director, Mental Health Center of Dane County, WI, “Antidepressant medications can trigger a manic episode in some susceptible people. In addition, some schizophrenic clients are reported to get more disorganized or more paranoid when taking antidepressants.”

SSRIs such as Prozac can cause a craving for alcohol.  This is even listed in the insert for Paxil.  Since the liver cannot metabolize the combination of both an SSRI & alcohol, there is a synergistic effect of raised levels of both alcohol and Prozac/SSRIs.

Many books have stated that Henri Paul was a light to moderate drinker and that he was a quiet, unassuming man.  Seven months before the accident he began taking Prozac due to sadness over the end of a 10 year relationship with his girlfriend.  The night of the crash, this quiet, introverted man was seen in front of the hotel waving and gesticulating to the crowd. He appeared to be in a hypomanic state.  Antidepressants can cause mania and hypomania according to the medical literature.  In the Physicians Desk Reference, it also states that Prozac can cause [as a frequent side effect] the adverse reaction of confusion.

Here is the article from Dr. Ronald J. Diamond:

http://alcoholism.about.com/health/alcoholism/library/blpaul01.ht

With this news being released on Henri Paul’s use of Prozac the media picked it up and began to cover the issue as in the article below while Eli Lilly began stating that alcohol should not be used with their precious golden goose, Prozac. And it certainly would have had no impact upon this driver to produce such a tragic accident.

New Test Finds an Anti-Depressant in Diana Driver’s Blood

The statement said two drugs — fluoxetine and tiapride — were found in the blood of the driver, Henri Paul, 41. Fluoxetine, which was apparent in greater quantities, is the generic name of Prozac. Tiapride is often prescribed for the treatment of aggressiveness in alcoholics.

”Prudence in the use of these drugs is generally recommended for drivers of vehicles,” the office said.

The statement, based on further blood tests on Mr. Paul ordered late last week by the investigating judge in the case, Herve Stephan, appeared to add to the case of those arguing that it was the incapacity of the driver, rather than the pursuit by photographers, that was the central cause of the accident on Aug. 31.

Diana Speaks to BBC’s Panorama in 1995 about her very happy pre-Prozac marriage

In following the hundreds upon hundreds of images of Princess Di and Prince Charles taken by photographers from the beginning of their fairytale come true relationship it is very easy to see the love in their eyes for one another. That is clearly beyond question. The looks they gave one another, the way Charles doted on the children as much as Diana did. You could tell they loved one another and loved their children very much. Diana’s interview below supports that as well.

The following are excerpts from her 1995 Panorama interview: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/special/politics97/diana/panorama.html

DIANA: At the age of 19, you always think you’re prepared for everything, and you think you have the knowledge of what’s coming ahead. But although I was daunted at the prospect at the time, I felt I had the support of my husband-to-be.

BASHIR: What were the expectations that you had for married life?

DIANA: I think like any marriage, especially when you’ve had divorced parents like myself, you’d want to try even harder to make it work and you don’t want to fall back into a pattern that you’ve seen happen in your own family.

DIANA: I desperately wanted it to work, I desperately loved my husband and I wanted to share everything together, and I thought that we were a very good team.

BASHIR: How aware were you of the significance of what had happened to you? After all, you’d become Princess of Wales, ultimately with a view to becoming Queen.

DIANA: I wasn’t daunted, and am not daunted by the responsibilities that that role creates. It was a challenge, it is a challenge.

As for becoming Queen, it’s, it was never at the forefront of my mind when I married my husband: it was a long way off that thought.

The most daunting aspect was the media attention, because my husband and I, we were told when we got engaged that the media would go quietly, and it didn’t; and then when we were married they said it would go quietly and it didn’t; and then it started to focus very much on me, and I seemed to be on the front of a newspaper every single day, which is an isolating experience, and the higher the media put you, place you, is the bigger the drop.

And I was very aware of that.

BASHIR: How did you handle the transition from being Lady Diana Spencer to the most photographed, the most talked-about, woman in the world?

DIANA: Well, it took a long time to understand why people were so interested in me, but I assumed it was because my husband had done a lot of wonderful work leading up to our marriage and our relationship.

My Vicarious Introduction to a Very Private & Reserved Prince Charles

Now before I hear any Charles bashing today I will warn you that I will defend him as yet another victim of Prozac via the destruction caused by this drug upon his marriage and the loss of his family. I basically met Charles vicariously years ago after spending six months living with my good friend, Doris, in Germany. On my return trip home I met an amazing young Austrian doctor who I came to know quite well. Peter was just leaving England where he had spent the week at the palace chumming with Charles as an honor for his amazing work in medicine and being named the top young doctor in Austria.

Peter spoke quite a bit about Charles as he had just barely left his company after spending a full week with him and gave me much insight into who Charles is and what he is like as a person. I highly value Peter’s opinion and insight. He is a very brilliant and very insightful man. And for Peter to be so taken back by Charles as a person and a very intelligent and very caring person, I knew he must be a very fine human being…perhaps an inside insight into the man behind the crown and behind the pomp and ceremony that not many get a chance to have. I understood for Peter to be so impressed by this person he must truly be an incredible human being as Peter is not much for honoring anyone for anything other than who they are – status meant nothing to Peter.

I fear that much of what the world heard from Princess Diana about Prince Charles as she was looking through her Prozac colored glasses was distorted and that this is something she now would really regret. Remember back in 1993 the study that came out explaining the finding that Prozac turns the brain cells into corkscrew shapes. So scientifically we know the perception literally becomes twisted which explains why so many mates say that their mates on these drugs have accused them of being the reason for everything bad that has ever happened to them in their lives. As dreams and reality become so scrambled by these drugs the patients also do not know what is a dream and what is reality. This leads to many false accusations, especially when mixed with the paranoia that comes from these drugs.

Diana Speaks of Her Postpartum Depression

BASHIR: How did the rest of the Royal Family react when they learnt that the child that you were to have was going to be a boy?

DIANA: Well, everybody was thrilled to bits. It had been quite a difficult pregnancy – I hadn’t been very well throughout it – so by the time William arrived it was a great relief because it was all peaceful again, and I was well for a time.

Then I was unwell with post-natal depression, which no one ever discusses, post-natal depression, you have to read about it afterwards, and that in itself was a bit of a difficult time. You’d wake up in the morning feeling you didn’t want to get out of bed, you felt misunderstood, and just very, very low in yourself.

BASHIR: Was this completely out of character for you?

DIANA: Yes, very much so. I never had had a depression in my life. [Please note]

But then when I analysed it I could see that the changes I’d made in the last year had all caught up with me, and my body had said: `We want a rest.’

BASHIR: So what treatment did you actually receive?

DIANA: I received a great deal of treatment, but I knew in myself that actually what I needed was space and time to adapt to all the different roles that had come my way. I knew I could do it, but I needed people to be patient and give me the space to do it.

BASHIR: When you say all of the different roles that had come your way, what do you mean?

DIANA: Well, it was a very short space of time: in the space of a year my whole life had changed, turned upside down, and it had its wonderful moments, but it also had challenging moments. And I could see where the rough edges needed to be smoothed.

Diana wisely was very much opposed to medicine and prefered alternative treatment, but was persuaded to take Prozac and subsequently other antidepressants. Luckily over time she did add alternatives as well such as homeopathy and aromatherapy that proved to help her avoid many of the more extreme reactions to these drugs.

The Royal Prozac Divorce

From the early 1990’s I have called the SSRI antidepressants the “Divorce Pills” because of how they interfere with a marriage in so many ways. As an example I use Utah once again as I watched the progression of these drugs there and their negative impact upon the people there. With most being Mormon then and Mormons being married for not just time alone, but for time and all eternity, they had long had the lowest divorce rate in the nation but within the first seven years of Prozac being on the market that divorce rate surpassed the national average!

The largest LDS (Mormon) dating group in town asked me to come and speak about the drugs because they had also noticed that those who would come into their group, find a mate and marry, would soon divorce and be back in once again finding another mate and marrying, then come back again! The referred to the group as the revolving door group.

Then there was the woman sitting next to me in a business meeting right after the first edition of my book had just been published. (6/94) With a copy of the book sitting on my lap the woman looked at it and said, “Oh Prozac. My fiance swears that caused his divorce.”

I turned to her and said, “Well he is right. It is so common that I call the drug the Divorce Pill.”

She then voiced concerns they both had over the ex-wife admitting to taking $10,000 from her boss’s purse. I told her that was a symptom of kleptomania that can be caused by the drugs and needed to be addressed before she has more serious reactions that could really get her in trouble.

She then said they were not so worried about her as they were his 18 year old daughter who the mother got on Prozac.

I said, “Oh no! Don’t tell me she is pregnant already! I cannot hear about yet another teen getting pregnant on this drug!”

She said, “No, but she has been married FOUR TIMES this past year and preparing to get married for the fifth time!”

Husbands and wives have continually reported they no longer know who their mates are any longer as the personality changes are so drastic – personality changes the drug maker now states in the package insert should be reported to the physician. Tragically physicians have generally ignored those reports coming in from family members and often refuse to even discuss their loved one with them!

But all these relationship issues are easily understood when we know the following about elevating serotonin levels – most of which is the direct opposite of what the marketing claims are…

#1 Elevated serotonin produces argumentative behavior

#2 Elevated serotonin produces depression – just what someone needs when they are already depressed!

#3 Elevated serotonin is found in panic and anxiety and unjustified fears

#4 Elevated serotonin is found in hypomania and mania which can include impulsivity, a happy drunk state, promiscuity and even delusions. Here I am explaining that to the FDA in the 2006 hearings on antidepressants in those under 25 (Diana was in that age group when first prescribed these drugs): http://www.drugawareness.org/fda-testimony/dr-ann-blake-tracys-december-13-2006-to-the-fda

#5 Elevated serotonin is found in suicide, violent suicide, and repeated suicide attempts and once again I point out that when Diana was harming herself she fell into that age group.

#6 Elevated serotonin is found in psychosis, schizophrenia, hallucinations

#7 Not wanting to be touched

Dreams and reality become merged together as one becomes more and more toxic on these drugs making it very difficult to know what is real and what is not. Those suffering this reaction then begin to mix the two together thinking the nightmares they are having are in fact reality leading to many false accusations. In fact research was done on the Salem Witch Hunts which found that they were exposed to ergot poisoning.

Ergot is a fungus that grows on grain and it is the base for LSD. LSD produces its hallucinations by mimicking serotonin. So when the ergot is ingested the brain reads that as if it is increased serotonin levels and reacts accordingly thus producing hallucinations, delusions and even psychosis. So the same is happening as these Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibiting drugs gradually increase serotonin in the brain the patients begin dreaming things up because they cannot detect the dreams from reality. The distorted thinking brings on false accusations of abuse which certainly do not help build healthy relationships!

Princess Di began suffering many of the side effects of antidepressants not long after being prescribed the drugs. Most doctors do not even catch these changes in behavior as coming from the drugs themselves. A Yale study done in 2000 headed by Dr. Malcolm Bowers found that 11% of those in general hospitals suffering from mania induced by antidepressants – about one quarter of a million people! But they then raised concern that the actual figure would be far larger because the large majority of doctors do not recognize this as an iatrogenic effect (caused by the treatment) and do not label it as such, thereby causing serious problems for patients as they are continued on more and more medications to treat these symptoms which were caused by these drugs in the first place.

Charles Shares in a Letter to Nancy Reagan:

“Breakdown of My Marriage Was Like a Greek Tragedy”

In a recently released group of letters from Nancy Reagan’s private correspondence we hear from Charles in 1992 about the grief he was suffering over the breakdown of his marriage – revelations which will sound all too familiar for those who have gone through these marital breakdowns due to these divorce pills…. “No one can really understand what it all means until it happens to you which is why it all keeps getting worse and worse. One day I will tell you the whole story. It is kind of a Greek Tragedy…It is so ghastly nobody who had not been witnesses would believe it! “
https://youtu.be/1f9ZgYUDQkc

I cannot count how many times I have heard over the past almost three decades now the very same statements from husbands and/or wives going through this antidepressant-induced divorce nightmare which is why we started our Facebook Group Antidepressant-Induced Divorce Epidemic (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1480253942290291/?) It is truly an epidemic and has been for a very long time.
Listening to him poor his heart out it is clear that Charles was very upset about losing his marriage and family. I am very saddened for Charles that he has been left to suffer this alone for so very long. I felt badly enough listening to Diana’s earlier interviews about the breakup where she was seeming to blame Charles for so many things which I see happen so often because the person on the drug is being led to believe this is a drug that is “helping” them, not a drug that is designed to slowly produce psychosis in the same way LSD does!
Although I believe her use of alternatives, especially the aromatherapy oils she spoke highly of using were a great help to her in avoiding some of the far more serious effects of the drug/drugs, but in the end they were taking their toll and a very terrible toll on her marriage and family she never wanted to lose.

The following excerpts from an article, an interview with an author of a 1999 biography about Princess Di, points out many of the side effects Diana began suffering from the antidepressants she was being given and mistakenly refers to it all as a “mental illness” – Borderline Personality Disorder which was almost unheard of before these drugs hit the market.

DI STRUGGLED WITH MENTAL DEMONS NEW BIOGRAPHY REVEALS HER PERSONALITY DISORDER

[As you read through this article for details keep in mind the warning from Eli Lilly, the manufacturers of Prozac: “Families and caregivers of patients being treated with antidepressants for Major Depressive Disorder or other indications, both psychiatric and non-psychiatric, should be alerted about the need to monitor patients for the emergence of agitation, irritability, unusual changes in behavior, and the other symptoms immediately to health care providers. Such monitoring should include daily observation by families and caregivers.”
What they left out as a final statement is that your health care provider will immediately dismiss, if they even listen to, your concerns about what you are observing – such as Charles and so many other mates have reported in not knowing which personality they are going to encounter when they next see their loved one again so they are continuously on edge around the mate being drugged.]
… by biographer Sally Bedell Smith in her new book, “Diana in Search of Herself: Portrait of a Troubled Princess.
London’s tabloid press had speculated about Diana’s troubled state of mind for years, but Smith for the first time offers a cogent explanation of the Princess of Wales’ often bizarre behavior. “I can’t give a professional diagnosis, but I think it’s safe to say that Diana was seriously disturbed for many years,” Smith told the Sunday News. “She suffered from chronic and severe symptoms of the kind that psychiatrists use to describe borderline personality disorder.” Those symptoms, as exhibited by the Princess of Wales and recounted in the book, included spells of depression, fear of rejection and abandonment, sharp mood swings, impulsive behavior, such as binge eating and self-mutilation, and persistent feelings of loneliness, boredom and emptiness. “At the core of it was the unstable self-image,” Smith said. “And an inability to sustain relationships, which she clearly had.[Bipolar disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder were very rare diagnosis BEFORE the SSRI antidepressants hit the market. All the symptoms being listed here that Diana reportedly suffered are all side effects of the Prozac and other antidepressants she was given. And remember that the FDA has warned that the adverse reaction of suicidal ideation is doubled for those under 25 and from my observation all other toxic/adverse reactions are as well.]” Along with all this, Smith said, borderline personalities often project a warm, outgoing image and demonstrate a gift for empathy and intimate communication, qualities embodied in her success as a mother and public figure. Smith said the final romance of Diana’s life, with Dodi Al-Fayed, was “exhibit A that she was not really in touch with herself or feeling very secure about herself” at the time of her death….
[Amnesia and memory loss has long been reported by patients on these drugs. Amnesia was initially listed as a “frequent” side effect of Prozac. Seems most everyone tells me they have lost who they were. Even Peter Kramer in his book Listening to Prozac says the drug robs you of your soul and rewrites your history. The memory is strongly affected by SSRI antidepressants. So much so that we have a Facebook group to address that titled: Antidepressant-Induced Alzheimer’s, Amnesia, and Memory Loss:
Sadly for Charles and Diana, as untold numbers of other couples, they were one of the very early cases which happened for them long before Facebook where they could have had a chance of learning what was happening to their marriage.]
“…she concluded “She couldn’t sustain relationships with friends or lovers. …Smith knows she is courting controversy and public outrage by presenting one of the most beloved celebrities of recent times as mentally disturbed. …”when it gets into the realm of mental illness, people don’t even like to say the words. They are so afraid of labeling. “But I don’t use borderline personality disorder as a label for Diana; I use it as a way of understanding her.”… . “I had been researching the book for three or four months when I interviewed somebody who knew both of them well,” Smith recalled. “This person said that at one point he had been so troubled by Diana’s behavior that he sought the advice of a psychiatrist and a psychologist.” He was told by each, independently of the other, that her symptoms conformed to borderline personality disorder.” Disturbing behavior There was, for example, the hellish bout of depression Diana experienced in the fall of 1981, just months after her wedding to Prince Charles. They were staying at Balmoral castle in Scotland and, at one point, Diana spent an entire day with her head buried in her hands, alternating between bouts of weeping and silence, as a friend tried in vain to console her. Diana’s chronic insecurity and fear of abandonment generated many scenes through the years. In early 1994, she made a notorious series of anonymous, silent phone calls to the home of Oliver Hoare, a rumored lover. Hoare’s wife threatened to call the police, and the calls stopped briefly. But the calls were easily traced back to Kensington Palace and Diana’s mobile phone. They resumed a few days later from phone booths near the palace and from the home of Diana’s sister. While Smith … interviewed 148 people for her book, including many who knew Charles and Diana well. “I think a lot of them had been bothered by what they had seen, and quite a few of them were eager to figure it out,” she said. “People couldn’t have been close to Diana without seeing the problems. Some denied them more than others, but those who were willing to acknowledge them wanted to understand it.” One friend quoted in Smith’s book describes a particularly unsettling trait of Diana’s. “I never thought she was unstable when I met her,” the friend told Smith. “But I noticed as I got to know her better the inconsistencies in her behavior. She was a tremendous giggler, but her laughter had a touch of madness, almost uncontrollable. “Her giggles were always faintly hysterical – like a combination of tears and laughter. [This uncontrollable giggling is so common with the SSRI antidepressants that it seems that is even listed as a side effect of these drugs.] While Diana admitted to a variety of problems during her lifetime, including bulimia, self-mutilation and suicide attempts, Smith doubts that she ever grasped the true scope or nature of her affliction. “She certainly knew and was able to describe her symptoms, that she was sad and had these feelings of emptiness and detachment and all of that,” Smith said. “But I don’t think she really understood what was wrong with her.” As Smith puts it in her book: “Throughout her adult life, Diana experienced these symptoms severely and chronically. While she received periodic treatment for some of her problems – her eating disorder and her depression – …The person closest to Diana, of course, was Prince Charles. “It’s a terrifying thing to deal with,” Smith said. “And I think Charles was terrified most of the time. And frustrated. By the accounts of his friends, he never knew which Diana was going to walk in the door at any given moment.” [Those exact words I have heard over and over and over again from those attempting to have a relationship with someone taking an antidepressant!!! They always report that they have no idea who it could be that they will see next – the continuously changing personalities and mood swings. They are never sure what to expect next.] Charles urged Diana to seek psychiatric help for her depression and mood swings as early as October 1981. But Smith doesn’t think he understood the enormity of the problem any better than Diana did. “He got her help when she had acute symptoms,” she said. “But he had a hard time seeing it as something that went beyond the episodic.” Diana’s attitude toward psychiatry was ambivalent, Smith said, and she preferred “alternative therapists” because she could control them. When it came to getting help, the very nature of her condition worked against her, as Smith points out in her book. “Borderline personalities are notoriously difficult to treat,” she writes. “They are frequently misdiagnosed, and they tend to move from one therapist to the next, as was the case with Diana. “… borderlines usually don’t take medications as prescribed, at least in part because they view pharmacotherapy – as Diana did – as a form of ‘mind control.‘” … Diana exhibited her deep feelings of loneliness and a touch of mania as well during a stint at a Swiss boarding school when she was 16. Deeply homesick, she wrote about 120 letters to her parents in a single month. … The stress of her marriage to Charles, coupled with the stress of her life as a public figure and the strain of her love-hate relationship with the media all served to exacerbate her symptoms. “Her relationship with the press was crucial,” Smith said, “because she kept looking to it to create some image of herself.” One friend told Smith how, early in her career as princess, Diana would “stare at pictures in the press, as if she was trying to find herself in the images that she saw on the page.” Sadly, Smith writes, the relentless spotlight that revealed Diana’s many weaknesses also served to hide them. “It was Diana’s dazzling public persona that lulled even her friends and family into disbelieving that anything could be seriously wrong with her – a common fate of the borderline.” But something was. In the final months of her life, Diana’s behavior showed she needed help more than ever. But she never got it. [Yes as so many others she got Prozac instead leaving both her and Charles victims of this deadly drug!!]

REMERON & SEROQUEL: Robin Williams July 21, 1954 – August 11, 2014

ROBIN WILLIAMS Born: July 21,1951 Died: August 11, 2014

This weekend should not pass us by without addressing the anniversary of the passing of one of the greatest comedians of all time, Robin Williams. He died three years ago of Antidepressant-induced REM Sleep Disorder (RBD). He had at least 2 serotonergic drugs in his system when he killed himself.

One antidepressant found in Robin Williams toxicology test, Mirtazapine, Remeron, has 10 drug regulatory agency warnings citing suicidal ideation.

The mainstream media are reporting that Robin Williams had no drugs in his system when he died, but what they mean is no ‘illegal drugs’. He did have two serotonergic prescription medications in his system, these are legal drugs, and they can often be worse than street drugs as many users will attest to and which have long been known to produce LSD effects and even test positive for PCP. Sadly these (side) effects are not as well known by the public, nor their physicians. But we do know that the hallucinogenic effects of LSD and PCP are brought on by their mimicking of serotonin – the very chemical these serotonergic medications are designed to increase. As a result SSRI’s, SNRI’s, tricyclic antidepressants, MAI’s, atypical antipsychotics, or any other drug which increases serotonin levels can cause all sorts of problems, from inducing self harm, mania, akathisia, suicidal ideation, aggression, homicidal thoughts etc… Anyone on them long-term is asking for trouble…but even short term they can cause all sorts of nasty side effects as was demonstrated in the courtroom verdict finding only two doses of the antidepressant Paxil to be the main cause of the mass murder/suicide of the Donald Schell family in Wyoming in 2001. (Tobin vs Glaxo)

Thanks to Alex Steblowsky for sharing much of this information with links. https://truthman30.wordpress.com/2014/11/08/robin-williams-had-2-antidepressants-in-his-system-when-he-killed-himself-autopsy-reveals/

This weekend should not pass us by without addressing the anniversary of the passing of one of the greatest comedians of all time, Robin Williams. He died three years ago of Antidepressant-induced REM Sleep Disorder (RBD). This is a disorder I wrote about almost three decades ago in my book on about antidepressants, Prozac: Panacea or Pandora? – Our Serotonin Nightmare! as being the most deadly side effect, or abrupt withdrawal effect, of antidepressants . Here is our Facebook group by that name on this disorder where one acts out their worst nightmare in a sleep state:

Facebook Group: Antidepressant-induced REM Sleep Disorder

https://www.facebook.com/groups/106704639660883/

Although his wife amazingly was able to track down what it was that drove him to take his life – a REM Sleep Disorder, she attributed it to Lewy Bodies, not knowing how common RBD is to antidepressant use nor the fact that the overwhelming majority of RBD cases, 86%, are diagnosed in those taking an antidepressant.

But Robin was not on just one, but two of these drugs which produce this deadly sleep disorder known to cause the patient to hurt themselves or someone else in 80% of the cases (including both murder and suicide) as they act out these drug-induced nightmares.

Our Facebook groups for the antidepressant and atypical antipsycotic Robin was taking, which we firmly believe need to be pulled from the market….

Facebook Group: Remeron (Mirtazapine) Should Be Illegal

https://www.facebook.com/groups/RemeronandMirtazapine/?ref=br_rs

Facebook Group: Seroquel (Quetiapine) Should Be Illegal

https://www.facebook.com/groups/605535796261627/

The mainstream media are reporting that Robin Williams had no drugs in his system when he died, but what they mean is no ‘illegal drugs’.

So what was his prescription drug history? What all had he been given as he was treated for depression, Bipolar, etc. What doses were they? And how long was he on them? How rapidly was he taken off them? All these things can contribute to this final tragic outcome. I firmly believe Robin’s family deserve to know the truth about the dangers all the prescription drugs he had been given…

Some news sites are reporting the name of the atypical antipsychotics he was given as, Seroquel.

“When authorities found Robin’s body … they saw a closed bottle of Seroquel, a drug that treats schizophrenia, bipolar disorders and depression. It was prescribed a week before he died.

This news site is reporting, Seroquel (an atypical anti-psychotic and the antidepressant, mirtazapine (Remeron Zispin)

http://www.drugs.com/remeron.html

“In general, some antidepressants, especially SSRIs, can paradoxically exacerbate some peoples’ depression or anxiety or cause suicidal ideation.[55] Despite its sedating action, mirtazapine is also believed to be capable of this, and for this reason in the United States and certain other countries it carries a black box label warning of these potential effects.”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quetiapine

Both classes of these types of drugs all carry Black Box warning labels for suicide.

There is an emerging controversy regarding quetiapine fatalities. The deaths of at least six U.S. military veterans who were given drug cocktails including quetiapine[31] have been attributed to its inclusion by military doctors to treat PTSD.

Approximately 10,000[32] lawsuits[33][34][35][36][37] against AstraZeneca for problems ranging from slurred speech and chronic insomnia to death have been filed by individuals from civilian populations.

Some have argued that additional somatic and psychiatric symptoms associated with dopaminergic super-sensitivity, including dyskinesia and acute psychosis, are common features of withdrawal in individuals treated with neuroleptics.[48][49][50][51] This has led some to suggest that the withdrawal process might itself be psychosis-mimetic, producing psychotic-like symptoms even in previously healthy patients, indicating a possible pharmacological origin of mental illness in a yet unknown percentage of patients currently and previously treated with antipsychotics.

http://perezhilton.com/2014-11-07-robin-williams-autopsy-results-revealed-suicide-parkinson-anxiety-paranoia/?from=post#.VF2FmNYjlo4

The first thing is that Robin was sober at the time of his death. The report stated that he only had four drugs in his system, two were anti-depressants and two were “caffeine compounds.”

However, the report also brought to light the fact that Robin was suffering from paranoia [yet another side effect of these serotonergic medications] and apparently he …

“placed several wrist watches in a sock and gave them to someone because he was worried about their safe keeping.”

Ben Stein: Anti-depressants Gave Me Suicidal Thoughts
CBNNews.com
Monday, August 25, 2014

Tonight’s Emmy Awards will feature a tribute to iconic comedian and actor Robin Williams, who recently committed suicide after a lifelong battle with depression.

Like Williams, actor Ben Stein told CBN News he also struggled with depression and thoughts of suicide.

It’s unclear whether Williams took anti-depressants. But Stein said those drugs played a dangerous role in his personal battle with depression. He said the closest he came to actually taking his own life were the times he was taking anti-depressants.

“The absolute worst I’ve ever felt in my entire life was under the influence of two drugs called Thorazine and Mellaril,” he said. “That was a long, long time ago, when they were supposed to make you feel better and yet, suicidal thoughts – they had the exact opposite effect and I really came close to death,” Stein told CBN Health and Science reporter Lorie Johnson.

“And then within the last several years, a drug called Wellbutrin, which is a well-known anti-depressant was prescribed to me and it actually worked quite well for about two weeks. And then I felt an overwhelming compulsion to commit suicide and I stopped taking it and it went away,” Stein said.

Stein said he has kept his depression and thoughts of suicide at bay through prayer, rest, and fresh air, and getting in a 12-step program.

“Unless there’s some gigantic breakthrough I’m unaware of, I would never think of touching anti-depressants again. That being said, if they work for other people, God bless ’em,” Stein said

Serotonergic Drugs: Carrie Fisher Toxicology & Cause of Death Released

According to a CNN report, medical examiners concluded that “sleep apnea and other undetermined factors” contributed to her death.” They also reported multiple drugs, legal as well as illegal: methadone, heroin, cocaine, Ecstasy, and others they do not mention including her favorite Prozac. If everyone will recall her ashes were placed into a large Prozac pill – her favorite possession. With this information from the coroner on her cause of death there could have been nothing more appropriate to place her ashes in than an pill of the drug that was one of the most responsible for her death in my opinion. Read on to see why I say that and why I believe the day is coming that the world will see that the drugs she spent so much of her life promoting were the same drugs that have caused a skyrocketing of the Bipolar Disorder she suffered and the drug that added more to her death than any other as it gradually increased her serotonin levels to deadly heights

.

CARRIE FISHER LAID TO REST IN GIANT PROZAC PILL

Prozac and its clones, Zoloft, Paxil, Celexa, Lexapro, etc are notorious for causing sleep apnea. In fact sleep apnea is such a common adverse reaction if I had any money years ago I would have put it into CPAP stock since most everyone on antidepressants longer term ended up on a CPAP machine!!!

SEROTONIN SYNDROME

So what might those “other undetermined factors” have been? After working so many death cases involving these deadly serotonergic drugs I would point out that the most obvious of all would be Serotonin Syndrome.

This is the same thing that killed Anna NIcole Smith’s young son Daniel as he sat in a hospital room visiting his mother and his new baby sister right after her birth.

What Killed Anna Nicole Smith’s Son Daniel?

Serotonin Syndrome is a potentially fatal toxic condition in which serotonin levels become much too high and shut down the major organs of the body. The cause of death with Serotonin Syndrome is multiple organ failure. Far too many doctors are focused on increasing serotonin and remain oblivious to the fact that serotonin levels can become elevated enough to become fatal. This is generally triggered by using two or more different drugs known to increase serotonin. If I recall correctly Daniel was on four serotonergic medications including methadone. Every one of the drugs mentioned found in Carrie’s toxicology is serotonergic, not to mention all her years of using antidepressants which over the years must have driven her serotonin levels through the roof. Always remember that rapid or abrupt withdrawal is also known to trigger Serotonin Syndrome.

And for those readers who are not aware cocaine was used in the past as an antidepressant before it was realized that the stimulant effect was causing depression after the initial high as any stimulant does. And Ecstasy was being prescribed for depression by psychiatrists until it was removed from the market just five years before Prozac was approved. Everyone should most definitely learn the history behind all these drugs to see how we got to where we are now in this Serotonin Nightmare.

UNDERSTANDING HOW THE PROZAC FAMILY OF ANTIDEPRESSANTS HAVE CREATED A BIPOLAR EXPLOSION

Dr.  Malcolm Bowers of Yale put out research in 1999 and 2000 showing how similar the SSRI antidepressants are to LSD and how they have caused such an explosion in the diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder which most doctors do not recognize as a temporary toxic condition produced by their medication but instead begin to treat it with more drugs – something I stressed throughout the 1990’s. This is the main focus of the testimony I gave before the FDA in 2006:

COLD TURKEY WITHDRAWAL: SEROQUEL: Triple Murder Demonstrates Why Not To Do This

Derek Saretzky above stopped his “sleeping pill,” the atypical antipsychotic drug Seroquel (Quetiapine) abruptly two months before this tragedy….

Thinking about stopping your medication cold turkey, switching medications, starting Seroquel or any other serotonergic drug???? Read this current ongoing triple murder case and think again!!!!! You may also want to visit our Facebook group “Seroquel (Quetiapine) Should Be Illegal”

The second article is an interview with his grandfather who talks about the drug and alcohol problems Derek had previously and a fairly recent divorce. Keep in mind that antidepressants which produce terrible insomnia are very often prescribed after a divorce. So the Seroquel could have been prescribed for insomnia he developed from an antidepressant given to cope with the divorce. If so the Seroquel could have been his second exposure to a serotonergic medication and he could have been suffering insomnia, for which the Seroguel was prescribed, from the rapid withdrawal of the antidepressant. These drugs and their impact upon serotonin levels accumulate in brain tissue and each exposure produces more and more intense adverse reactions.

His grandfather also included the information that the elderly woman he killed first was a family friend he had done odd jobs for his entire life.

[I have left out the extremely graphic parts of this first article for you…others can read the article for the rest of the story including cannibalism.]

Always remember that a safe withdrawal is a gradual withdrawal & as you will see there is very good reason why the FDA issued their warnings on withdrawal from these serotonergic medications as potentially inducing suicide, hostility and psychosis. Rapid withdrawal is most definitely not worth the risk of going into a REM Sleep Disorder (where 80% hurt themselves or someone else), a manic psychosis or any other type of psychosis…..

ABRUPT or RAPID SEROQUEL WITHDRAWAL & THE REM SLEEP DISORDER

Killed in this case were Terry Blanchette, 27, and his two year old daughter Hailey and Hanne Meketech, 69, who was killed five days earlier than Terry and his small daughter. All of these killings were very brutal deaths which included no guns.

Abrupt withdrawal from any serotonergic medication can produce this type of impulsive murder, as well as suicide, as a patient slips into a REM Sleep Disorder which can appear months after the abrupt withdrawal. REM Sleep Disorder has long been known to produce both murder and suicide in a sleep state as the patient acts out nightmares.
It has been my experience in dealing with the adverse effects of these drugs that increase serotonin that all of them can produce this deadly sleep disorder. But the majority of the drugs involved have been the serotonergic antidepressants. Research indicates that 86% of those being diagnosed with this extremely deadly sleep disorder are currently taking antidepressants even though the REM Sleep Disorder has long been known as a drug withdrawal state.
The big problem with all of these new so called “atypical” antipsychotics like Seroquel, Zyprexa, Abilify,  Risperdal, Geodon, etc. is that they are like a combination of an SSRI antidepressant mixed with an older anti-psychotic. So, you get similar adverse effects to these drugs as you do the antidepressants.
I do know that after testifying in these cases & documenting them for 25 years this drug-induced nightmare we are living in needs to end!!! I hope family members on both sides of this tragedy hold the drug maker responsible for these senseless deaths!!!
In a hearing in 2008 I presented testimony before the FDA on this deadly drug. We also have a Facebook group titled “Seroquel (Quetiapine) Should Be Illegal.” And there is a similar Facebook group for each of these atypical anti-psychotics and antidepressants.

From the article posted below this we read: “….he had stopped taking Seroquel – an antipsychotic medication – which he said he had been on to help him sleep. [PLEASE NOTE The prescription of this antipsychotic drug was for sleep, NOT psychosis! The psychosis was the result of the abrupt withdrawal from the drug.]

Saretzky said he had stopped taking the medication a few months earlier, adding, “Everything’s been a real blur since then.”

McCauley then asked about something Saretzky’s father had said about talking to the devil.

“[The devil] takes control of me sometimes and I don’t know how or why,” Saretzky replied…. [Even atheists have reported to me for years now that they feel possessed on these drugs or that someone else’s brain is in their body.]

He said that he had dated Cheyenne Dunbar, Hailey’s mother, after Hailey was born, but that he ended the relationship when he chose a friend over her. McCauley asked if Saretzky felt like Hailey’s step-dad, to which he responded, “Kinda I guess.”

As McCauley directed the conversation to the murder of Blanchette, Saretzky said, “I don’t even remember going to Terry’s house,” then saying, “God did it, not me. God did it himself.” [The going in and out of consciousness as one acts out the dreams or nightmares they are having.]

While remaining calm and telling Saretzky that he believed he was under the control of a demon

After continuing to deny that he played any role, Saretzky finally broke down… [Often the patient is not even sure what they have or have not done on the drug and it takes a lot of the puzzle pieces placed in front of them for them to realize that what they remember only slightly as a nightmare was reality.]

“Think I’d have a chance if I plead insanity?” Saretzky asked, after first inquiring if he might spend the rest of his life in prison. McCauley responded that it wasn’t something he had control over. [PLEASE note that the patients have always reported they had no control over their actions. I still remember young Kip Kinkle screaming over and over to police after committing one of the first school shootings on Prozac and Ritalin, “I had no choice!!!!” when he was being questioned about killing his parents and shooting classmates.]

RIP From Del Shannon to Chris Cornell

Here you have Chris Cornell’s wife telling you her husband did not commit suicide and it must have been a reaction to  Ativan. Add to that below you have Del Shannon’s widow explaining how what Del did was so totally out of character just as Chris’ wife stated and that she knew it was the Prozac that caused him to take his life.

(See link to transcript of Le Anne’s FDA testimony below)
Del Shannon was given the drug only for exhaustion from so many new gigs as his had career started really taking off again. He had recovered earlier from an addiction to alcohol.
One main problem with both of these classes of drugs is that they both cause cravings for alcohol and yet they both have warnings not to use the drugs in conjunction with alcohol. So you are set up from the get go with them. In fact it is the first thing I saw with Prozac that caught my attention because I saw so many who did not drink become alcoholics almost overnight on these SSRI and SNRI antidepressants. This is why we have a Facebook group titles Antidepressant-induced Cravings For Alcohol.
Not that either Del nor Chris were drinking. Del’s autopsy showed nothing. He was sober and had been for some time. And he had only taken Prozac for 15 days. Chris’ autopsy will not be available for weeks yet.
But what can make one pill have the impact of two or more is what is called “kindling.” Both Del and Chris had previous issues with drug or alcohol addiction and what does that do to one’s liver? It clearly impairs liver function and thus their ability to metabolize the medications they were prescribed. Seriously! What are doctors thinking?!!! That is such basic medical knowledge.
The fact is that recovering addicts should NEVER ever be given a drug as “treatment” because their livers are already compromised from the effects of the previous drug use! No one warns of this! In fact all I have seen in my almost 30 years of sounding the warnings about these drugs is the non-stop peddling of all these kinds of drugs to drug and alcohol recovery/rehabilitation centers!
Look at the example of Lindsay Lohan. On Zoloft she developed the cravings for alcohol that come with antidepressants and what did the court system do? They brought her in charged her for it and court ordered her to take her Zoloft! The same drug that was causing the cravings for alcohol in the first place was their solution for her improving her life! I hope she learns this some day and is able to sue them all for the hell she has gone through as a result! She is lucky to have survived it, but anyone who has lived through it can tell you that no one would ever want to experience what she has gone through on these drugs – her and far too many others!
The best recovery centers in this country with almost ZERO recidivism are those set up by Dr. James Milam. The reason he has such excellent results is that he uses diet and nutrition to support the patients and help them to heal. He understands that drug and alcohol addictions need to be treated for the hypoglycemia they either have caused or worsened so he puts them on a hypoglycemic diet. Drugs and alcohol deplete nutritional levels. Those levels need to be replenished after drug/alcohol use in order to heal, not further depleted with additional drugs, even if those drugs are currently legal – a status that is ever changing with many drugs. And the stronger effects produced by the prescription drugs needs to at least be considered along with the liver’s post drug function in determining its ability to handle those drugs. I do not see that happening and these two examples alone demonstrate how very deadly the results of that can be.
In memory of Del:https://youtu.be/nSkV9pdzLgo
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THE POTENTIAL OF THESE DRUGS TO PRODUCE SUICIDE IN ABRUPT WITHDRAWAL IS EVEN HIGHER THAN WHEN TAKING THE DRUGS….ALWAYS WEAN OFF EXTREMELY GRADUALLY AS THEY HAVE TERRIBLE WITHDRAWAL EFFECTS!!!

Common Legal Drinks Kill Boy, 16, In 3 Hours

Davis Allen Cripe, 16

What are your children drinking that may cause this to happen to your child? Do you know? This boy dropped dead at school and his family is now warning others….Through his friends, investigators learned that Cripes consumed a large Diet Mountain Dew, a McDonald’s Cafe Latte and 16 ounces of an unspecified type of energy drink within two hours.

The American Academy of Pediatrics says children and adolescents shouldn’t consume energy or sports drinks at all and instead should be drinking water.

Of more than 5,000 cases involving energy drinks that were reported to U.S. poison control centers between 2010 and 2013, nearly half the children did not know what they were drinking, according to research presented to the American Heart Association in 2014. In many cases, children 6 and younger consumed a drink they found in the refrigerator, or one left lying around the house by a parent or older sibling.

It’s sometimes called the world’s most common drug, and regularly consuming as little as two cups of coffee (or three cans of soda) a day is enough to get you so hooked that stopping the habit can cause withdrawal symptoms, Murray Carpenter, author of “Caffeinated” said in Men’s Journal.

In small amounts, caffeine makes us feel good, but “it is a drug whose strength is consistently underestimated,” Carpenter says.

“A quarter teaspoon will lead to bodily unpleasantness — racing heart, sweating and acute anxiety. A tablespoon will kill you,” he wrote in “Caffeinated.”

That’s far more than the maximum safe level given by most health officials which is 400 milligrams a day, roughly the amount in 4 cups of brewed coffee, 10 cans of cola or two energy drinks, the Mayo Clinic says.

How sad and tragic it took a child losing his life for such an important subject to be addressed. Our ability to perform & cope in life is built via good nutrition. Stimulants which force us beyond our own natural ability should always be avoided because they will deplete us of our ability to perform and cope by using up that energy which our bodies would naturally conserve for us if we would allow it to do so rather than forcing it.

I have long been very concerned over the high rate of use of these drinks full of not only the stimulant, caffeine, but yet another very strong stimulant drug so very similar to cocaine – refined sugar. This is not even mentioned in the article or considered as a contributor to this boy’s death when in fact not only was it a contributor, but also the aspartame he consumed in his diet Mountain Dew was as well.
Brain Scan Comparing Stimulant Effect of Sugar to Cocaine
Note the Sugar Appears to Have a Stronger Effect Than Cocaine!

Mental Health Concerns of Stimulants

Not only are there the serious physical health risks associated with these “energy drinks,” but also the mental health risks. With the child suicide rate announced last week to be doubled worldwide and as of last year tripled in Utah, we should be even more concerned about any stimulant a child is consuming because we know that basic science tells us what goes up comes down. Stimulants produce depression after the initial high we  mistakenly refer to as an “energy boost”.
But depression is not the only mental concern produced by stimulants. Psychiatrists have long warned that these so called “energy drinks” are producing a toxic psychosis in children which can manifest as either Bipolar or Schizophrenia and it does not subside until the child stops drinking these stimulant drinks. How many of them are being misdiagnosed and instead of stopping the energy drinks or latte’s are instead treated with dangerous psychiatric drugs for the rest of their lives?
While we complain about how insane our youth are becoming we fuel that insanity by feeding them stimulants and/or never teaching them these things and allowing them to consume stimulants with no knowledge of the risks.

Any Antidepressant Connection Here?

Keep in mind while discussing stimulants that anti-depressants… the opposite of a depressant….is?
Yes! They are stimulant drugs!
When antidepressants can produce a doubling of cortisol with one dose that is a huge stimulant effect! So strong a stimulant effect is it that many patients end up with adrenal fatigue or failure as a result. You can only force the body for so long before it crashes and goes into burn out. That burn out comes when the adrenal glands can no longer or only barely produce the adrenaline they should produce. (See our Facebook group: Antidepressant-Induced Adrenal Fatigue/Failure https://www.facebook.com/groups/904424182981085/ )
But another way that antidepressants contribute to this stimulant effect is the cravings they produce for other stimulants: sugar, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, diet drinks, etc. People will report consuming abnormally huge amounts of all of these. Forget the four cups of coffee a day described as safe! They report drinking pots of coffee daily and do see them without a big gulp of diet pop once they begin drinking it is also rare. Which is why we also have the following Facebook groups online as well:
Antidepressant-Induced Hypoglycemia & Diabetes
Antidepressant-Induced Cravings for Alcohol
Antidepressant-Induced Weight Gain

In Conclusion: Children Exposed to Antidepressants in the Womb

The are so many children being exposed to these drugs in the womb that there needs to be more said about the long-term effects of antidepressants upon these children. The first thing researchers noticed were the hypoglycemic effects these children have setting them up for an early diagnosis of diabetes if parents do not know to watch their diets closely. Increased rates of depression, anxiety, asthma – any of the many effects of elevated serotonin are what should be watched for with these children and most definitely an avoiding of stimulants of any kind. I will post my 2004 testimony before the FDA which lists all of the symptoms of elevated serotonin as I related them to the FDA Advisory Panel so you will know what to watch for:
