“The report shows that Glaxo [makers of Paxil] knew in 1989, long before Paxil was FDA approved, that people taking the drug were 8 times more likely to engage in suicidal behavior than people given a placebo, or sugar pill. Now, it stands to reason that even the most depressed person would decline to take Paxil if given these facts. Also, parents certainly would decline if they were told about the risks. . . . “The FDA approved Paxil on December 29, 1992, with no warning to doctors or patients of the significant increased risk of suicidal behavior,” he writes.

Note from Dr. Tracy: After researching and warning for two decades that this crisis with alcohol consumption would come, I can tell you the reason so many women are now drinking is because they are the main ones taking antidepressants which in turn cause overwhelming cravings for alcohol. And it has long been known that women suffer more adverse reactions to antidepressants than men do. But why cravings for alcohol? These drugs drop the blood sugar causing cravings for sugar and/or alcohol and NutraSweet. Sugar and alcohol initially bring the blood sugar up quickly causing one to instinctively reach for them in a “self medicating” way because they quickly address the low blood sugar level.

As the number of “anecdotes” exceeds 1,600—hardly a small number—the association of SSRIs with murder/suicide, often combined, must be taken seriously. The SSRI website was searched to find combined murder/suicide incidents attributed to a specific SSRI. There were three for fluvoxamine, four for citalopram, 10 each for paroxetine and sertraline, and 31 for fluoxetine. Where the studies above substantiated suicide from SSRI use, the total on the SSRI website of 48 simultaneous murder/suicide incidents associated with SSRI use ties together SSRIs and murder. Since there were about two murders per suicide, we may infer that the murder rate on SSRIs could be about 250/100,000. Since no clinical trial involving multiple homicides is ever likely to be run, no firmer evidence is likely to be found. Healy noted that much of the evidence for suicide and murder came from the efforts of journalists and lawyers.

The brain chemical these drugs increase, serotonin, is the same brain chemical that LSD, PCP and other psychedelic drugs mimic in order to produce their hallucinogenic effects. And remember that psychedelic agents are “a class of compounds with no demonstrated therapeutic use, a history of extensive abuse, and the ability to provoke psychosis.

Seven drugs approved since 1993 have been withdrawn after reports of deaths and severe side effects. A two-year Los Angeles Times investigation has found that the FDA approved each of those drugs while disregarding danger signs or blunt warnings from its own specialists. Then, after receiving reports of significant harm to patients, the agency was slow to seek withdrawals.

A REMINDER: IT IS EASIER TO GET DOWN OFF A MOUNTAINTOP ONE GUARDED STEP AT A TIME THAN TO JUMP FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM.
No matter how few or how many side effects you have had on these antidepressants, withdrawal is a whole new world. The worst part of rapid withdrawal does not hit for several months AFTER you quit. So even if you think you are doing okay you quickly find that it becomes much worse.

I went to the Doc to see what’s wrong with me,
He turned out to be a pill-pusher MD,
As he reached for his pen with the drug name on it,
I said, “Stop right there, mon frer, I don’t want it!”
He said, “You must be crazy,” as I broke for the door,
Crashed into somebody, and landed on the floor,
With a slutty type of woman lookin’ down at me,
She had the names of different drugs displayed on her bikini.

As you read through the next two paragraphs understand why I gasp when I hear that this man was given an SSRI while suffering from anxiety, pneumoniaand sleep apnea. You see, anything that increases serotonin – as the SSRI antidepressants are designed to do and all antidepressants do – shuts down the lungs thereby cutting off oxygen to the brain. This is how these drugs produce brain damage, the cutting off of the oxygen supply.

We have received a request from a German TV crew who is doing a special on Lilly’s newer ADHD medication, Stratera. These investigative reporters from Germany are doing a 45 minute piece and looking for experiences of tragedy /suicide or severe adverse reactions in children treated for ADHD with this drug. I know we have had reports, but I do not keep close track anymore of which drug is involved after so many cases because all these drugs work basicallythe same way. An antidepressant is an antidepressant no matter what you callmit or what you prescribe it for or how you explain its supposed uniqueness. So if you or someone you know has been through a Strattera-induced nightmareand would be willing to help get some exposure of this in the press, please get in touch with me so that I can put you in touch the reporters.

ABSTRACT
Background Anxiety disorders are common psychiatric conditions affecting children and adolescents. Although cognitive behavioral therapy and selective serotonin-reuptake inhibitors have shown efficacy in treating these disorders, little is known about their relative or combined efficacy.

It is with a great sadness I report to you the tragic death of Chris Brockman. The story from his mother below explains what happened to Chris – a story that has been repeated over and over aganin with these deadly antidepressants. Chris was only 15 when he was given this cocktail of drugs that caused him to act so completely out of character in such a violent way. What we as a society have done to children like Chris is reprehensible!

EERY!!!!! Just yesterday I was at Von Maur in Omaha with Mark and
Donna Taylor as we stopped while driving from Salt Lake City to Des Moines!
What sent chills down my spine, even though I was too tired to feel much
after driving for about 12 hours straight with only a couple hours break, was
what I learned when I dropped Mark and Donna off at Whole Foods to pick up a few
groceries while I played on the lawn with my puppy. And as I played with
him I looked up and saw Von Maur. I caught my breath and thought “But it
does not look like a mall from here, maybe it is just another Von Maur store,
not the one where all those people died last year.”
So when the next person stopped to play with my little dog I asked
them if that happened to be the mall where the shooting was last year.
When they said yes I thought I would fall over from the shock of it all!!
Why?

I am Mark Allen Taylor and I am a victim of the SSRI antidepressant era.
I took six to thirteen bullets in the heart area in the Columbine High
School shooting when Eric Harris on Luvox opened fire that now infamous day.
They almost had to amputate my leg and my arm. My heart missed
by only one millimeter. I had three surgeries. Five years later I am still recuperating.
I went through all this to realize that SSRI antidepressants are

Now that the studies on antidepressants that were kept from those who needed to know have been reviewed the conclusion is they work no better than placebo – anyone familiar with my work surprised? For almost two decades I have repeated thousands of times over that the hypothesis behind antidepressants is backwards. THEY DO NOT WORK! And no one wanted to hear it. Now the truth is out and how many have been left in the wake? What a worldwide tragedy!!!! But a tragedy that could become far worse before recovery begins due to the lack of knowledge by professionals of safe methods for antidepressant withdrawal.
