GLAXO ORDERED TO PAY OUT ANOTHER MULTIMILLION DOLLAR VERDICT IN ATTORNEY’S SUICIDE

  • Definitely great news to be getting on the 18th anniversary of Columbine!!!

I cannot believe how incredibly stupid this drug company is!!!! If they were not made foolish enough in the Tobin vs Glaxo case by their own expert testifying under oath that according to his decades of research on serotonin that the two pills of their deadly antidepressant Paxil taken by a mild mannered elderly grandfather Donald Schell should have been expected to cause him to shoot his wife, visiting daughter and infant granddaughter and himself….Yet they were stupid enough to take the case of a suicide by a prominent attorney to court instead of settling the case with a gag order in place to keep this from the public as they have done for decades?!!

They must all be on these antidepressant drugs shown in 1993 research to turn brain cells into corkscrew shapes!!!!! There clearly are not a lot of smarts in that company!

Or maybe they think they have produced enough corkscrew shaped brain cells in the general public with these drugs that no one will notice this verdict….

Generic Paxil Garners Guilty Verdict For GSK

Whatever this is great news for victims because apparently this attorney took the generic version of Paxil, Paroxetine, which has been able to avoid wrongful death suits because it is a generic form of a drug that has been ruled “safe and effective” by the FDA. It did not work this time! Glaxo who put out the original Paxil and Brisdelle (Paxil with a name change given for Menopause) has now been found liable for this suicide!! I love it! Karma has found them and they have reaped what they sowed for putting these deadly drugs on the market.

GSK Hit With $3M Verdict For Reed Smith Atty’s Suicide
By Jessica Corso

Law360, Chicago (April 20, 2017, 4:20 PM EDT) — An Illinois federal jury on Thursday found GlaxoSmithKline liable for the death of Reed Smith LLP partner Stewart Dolin and ordered the pharmaceutical giant to pay $3 million to the attorney’s widow, reaching the conclusion that a generic version of GSK’s Paxil caused Dolin to take his own life.

A nine-person jury agreed with Wendy Dolin that her husband had committed suicide in 2010 under the influence of generic paroxetine, an antidepressant sold as brand-named Paxil. (AP) Following five weeks of trial testimony, the nine-person jury agreed…

Attorney Stu Dolan’s suicide was horrific. It was yet another suicide by train which in my research I have RARELY found any of these extremely violent suicides which did not include the use of an antidepressant. Read here about this extremely high profile and very successful attorney to know that a $3Million verdict did not even begin to compensate for this man’s life!!!

IS HILLARY CLINTON ON AN ANTIDEPRESSANT & BENZO???

With 25% of the Australian Parliament admitting they are all on antidepressants how many more must the United States have since we use far more prescription drugs than any country in the world? I have already had to work with several politicians in trouble on these drugs. And I know from a report from someone close to Bill that he was on Prozac during the affair with Monica while news reports brought out that Monica was on Effexor and had been four or five of others since her early teens for. And Vince Foster was on the antidepressant, Trazadone (Deseryl) when he died while Bill’s ex business partner died of a Prozac-induced heart attack in a Texas prison. So taking an antidepressant would certainly be nothing foreign to Hillary.

Why should we even care? It should be the public’s right to know what anyone running for office is on if it is a mind altering drug that can affect their behavior because that drug-induced behavior can impact all of our lives and in this case the lives of everyone on this planet! If there was ever a time to ask this is it! Everyone should look at the evidence because this is a public safety issue.

For a year I have been watching every picture I have seen of Hillary Clinton looking for even one without Prozac eyes. I have yet to find one! For months there have been medical records posted on the net supposedly from Hillary’s doctor with notes that she has just increased her dose of her antidepressant and anti-anxiety medication.

So why would we want to ask such a question? And what would be the impact of someone in a high profile position having toxic reactions to these drugs which we know can produce suicidal and homicidal compulsions or ideation, psychoses or mania with varying degrees of delusions of grandeur, all kinds of compulsions to spend and to steal, etc, etc.? Look up mania to learn that there are dozens upon dozens of definitions of various types of manic behaviors from compulsive drinking to compulsive stealing (kleptomania) to compulsive spending to compulsive setting of fires (pyromania) and even compulsive sex as in nymphomania. You will learn that the possibilities are endless when it comes to the troubling behaviors produced by a manic reaction which is so often associated with the use of antidepressants that many psychiatrists initially refused to prescribe the SSRI antidepressants due to the very strong potential they have to induce mania (Bipolar Disorder). See our Facebook group Antidepressant-induced Bipolar & Schizophrenia:

https://m.facebook.com/groups/1605446559734283

Many things being rumored and many things documented about Hillary’s behavior, and her physical symptoms as well, are all adverse reactions to antidepressants…

…Parkinson’s symptoms were the first reaction seen to the first SSRI antidepressant, Prozac.

…The rage she reportedly went into over the Today Show’s host Matt Lauer asking her a question she was not prepared for is a classic antidepressant adverse reaction. After the SSRI antidepressants were first introduced we quickly heard of Road Rage, Desk Rage, Air Rage, etc., etc.

…Also patients on these medications have always called them the “I Don’t Give a Damn” drugs. It appears that was certainly her attitude when it came to her unsecured server and emails.

…She also appears to believe there is nothing she cannot buy her way out of or lie her way out of as she has been caught over and over again in lies – even to the FBI in their investigation of her emails. After her reckless behavior with those emails and evidence which at least three countries now have that information which could be used to blackmail her to get whatever those countries might want from her as our president … all screams that antidepressant attitude.

…And most who go manic on their antidepressants end up with criminal charges for their manic behaviors. As you will see below it has now led to the head of Homeland Security publicly stating she is guilty of treason! And beyond that there is even more evidence of more serious charges being brought by Senator Rand Paul and Judge Napolitano  and Judge Jeanine when it comes to the criminal accusations over the Clinton Foundation.

Now with that short introduction I share with you an interview with psychiatrist who has held high government positions discussing what he has seen in her that makes him believe she is not fit mentally, emotionally or physically to hold a public office and especially the office of president of the United States:

Hillary Clinton May Have A Brain Tumor: Board Certified MD/Psychiatrist

HOMELAND SECURITY CHAIRMAN …

“HILLARY GUILTY OF TREASON!

House Homeland Security Chairman Mike McCaul (R-TX) accused Hillary Clinton of committing “treason” Thursday morning because of the way the former secretary of state handled her emails.

McCaul’s “treason” comment came just hours after he told Fox News Wednesday that Clinton should be “impeached” if she were elected.

“This investigation will continue whether she wins or not, but assuming she wins and the investigation goes forward, and it looks like an indictment is pending, at that point of time in the Constitution, the House of Representatives would engage in an impeachment trial,” McCaul said Wednesday in reference to a congressional probes into Clinton’s e-mails. “It would go to the Senate, and impeachment proceedings and removal would take place.”

PAXIL: The Reality of Loss in the Sierre Bus Crash

Read the letter below from the mother of one of the 22 children who died that day when her bus driver slammed the bus into the inside wall of a tunnel in Switzerland with no evidence of braking yet evidence of the effort it took to drive into that wall by going over a barrier to prevent such things. The families are requesting a sample of the driver’s blood for additional testing.
In March of 2012 a bus carrying 52 people slammed into the side of a tunnel, 28 died and 22 of them were children.  Here is the previous story on this tragedy explaining how the driver had been thrown into a cold turkey withdrawal which can produce suicide and hostility. This was the result of his doctor cutting his dose of the antidepressant, Paxil, by half and him skipping his dose that morning, while so few have become aware of the 2005 USFDA  warning that ANY abrupt change in dose of an antidepressant can produce suicide, hostility or psychosis:

Did the Sierre Bus Driver Have a Pre-Disposition to Seroxat?

The bus crash in Sierre is in the news again, at least it is in Holland.

The Telegraf’s Jolande van der Graaf has recently highlighted that the parents of the Sierre bus crash victims (22 children) have wrote a letter to Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte,  Belgian Prime Minister, Charles Michel and other various members of parliament. The letter, penned by Olga Leclercq, whose daughter tragically lost her life, is calling for the release of the bus driver’s blood samples to determine once and for all whether or not he (Geert Michels) had a poor tolerance to Seroxat. This can be achieved through DNA testing and Leclercq has already employed the services of Independent Forensic Services, Hulshorst, Netherlands to carry out these tests.

Sadly, for the parents of the 22 children who perished, they need to persuade the Swiss authorities to release sample of Michels blood, hence the letter requesting the support of the Dutch and Belgian Prime Ministers.

It’s become widely known that Seroxat (paroxetine), marketed in the US as Paxil, can cause suicidal thinking in some people who take it, it has also been proven, in US Courts, that Seroxat was responsible for, not only suicide but homicide too. (Link)

Earlier this year, after briefly meeting Olga in London, I felt compelled to write to both the British and European drug regulators, namely; the MHRA and the EMA, about the involvement of Seroxat in this sad case.. In typical limp-wristed fashion both have passed the buck onto GlaxoSmithKline, the manufacturers of Seroxat, and told me that“Companies marketing SSRIs and the national authorities that approved them will be aware of published reports suggesting that a product may have been linked to a tragic incident.”

Journalist Douglas de Coninck, who wrote a book about the bus crash, (THE BUSRAMP IN SIERRE: 1 PILL, 28 DEAD) and who also exposed the fact that the bus driver, Geert Michels, was either on or withdrawing from Seroxat at the time of the crash, has never been approached by anyone from GlaxoSmithKline regarding his findings, which kind of makes a mockery of the statement issued to me from the EMA.

Seroxat, by the manufacturers own admission, can cause a symptom called akathisia, in a nutshell, akathisia is a disorder, induced by SSRI medications, which can cause a person to experience such intense inner restlessness that the sufferer is driven to violence and/or suicide.

Olga has kindly given me permission to publish the letter on my blog. It’s been translated from Dutch to English.

Subject: Request for help in obtaining blood sample in connection with Buscrash Sierre 2012.

Lommel, Belgie,
Houten, Nederland,

1 oktober 2016

Dear Member of Parlaiment,

On the 13th of March 2012, a Belgian Touringcar drove head on against a wall in a tunnel in sierra, Switzerland. 28 people died of which 6 Dutch Children and 16 Belgian children. Many survivors are left with permanent injuries. The cause of this declared national disaster was never sufficiently investigated and therefore never found by the Swiss investigators, the case has been formally closed now.

During the investigation it became clear that the driver took Paroxetine, an SSRI-type antidepressant. A possible explanation of this crash could be that the driver was mentally seriously disrupted because of side-effects and that the crash was caused by this.

Paroxetine is known for these effects, Psychosis, Suicide, Akathisia, and violence. Some people have an above average sensitivity for these disastrous side-effects. Indications for this sensitivity can be found in a blood sample (by DNA testing).

During the forensic investigation, a blood sample was taken from the driver. This sample is still being kept by the Swiss authorities. This blood has never been tested for these effects.

For the relatives, who are united under Stichting Busramp Sierre, there is still a lot of uncertainty around the causes of this crash. To take this uncertainty away and to add information to the Paroxetine-file, it is vital to have the above mentioned blood-research take place. It is obvious that this research will have to be conducted in a professional way and in the presence of monitors who are accepted by all the parties concerned.

For this research we have a strong preference for Independent Forensic Services, Hulshorst, Netherlands, who have a lot of experience in this field. To be able to do this The Swiss Authorities will need to be persuaded to release the driver’s blood.

Therefore we would like to request that you employ your influence to make a research, acceptable for all parties, of the driver’s blood possible.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation,

Mw. Olga Leclercq voor stichting Stichting Busramp Sierre.

Dhr. Ogé Kruijt voor Stchting Nederlands Comité voor de Rechten van de Mens.

At the very least, both the Dutch and Belgian Prime Ministers should grant the parents wishes for samples of Geert Michels blood. Twenty Two children died as a result of his actions, actions that have already shown, vi an independent inquiry, that he deliberately drove the bus into a tunnel wall.

Whilst the MHRA and EMA sit shrugging their shoulders, seemingly unconcerned about 22 children dying as a result of a drug they continue to give a clean bill of health, it is, once again, left to bereaved parents to find answers.

As for GlaxoSmithKline, their history of being fruitful with the truth is a poor one – even when found guilty they appeal (as they did in the 2001 Paxil homicide/suicide case.)

I will, of course, keep readers in the loop as this story develops.

STUDY: ANTIDEPRESSANTS DOUBLE RISK OF FEELINGS LEADING TO SUICIDE

pills

Lead researcher: Believing drugs aren’t dangerous for adults is “a potentially lethal misconception.”

A review of the clinical trials of antidepressants taken by healthy adults with no signs of a mental health disorder has found these drugs used to treat the illness actually doubled the harms related to suicide and violence. Experts working on the study said the analysis was undertaken because the harms of antidepressants, including the risk of suicide, are often explained away as if they are disease symptoms or only a problem in children. Professor Peter Gøtzsche, of the Nordic Cochrane Centre and lead author of the study, said: “While it is now generally accepted that antidepressants increase the risk of suicide and violence in children and adolescents, most people believe that these drugs are not dangerous for adults.

“This is a potentially lethal misconception.”

(Scroll down to read the full article on this research.)

After spending the past quarter of a century now specializing in adverse reactions to antidepressants I cannot agree more with this new research by Dr. Gotzsche indicating a chemically-induced increase in suicidal thinking brought on by the use of antidepressants. It is clearly chemically-induced as the patients themselves are often shocked by their own self-destructive thoughts and wonder where they are coming from.

ANTIDEPRESSANT-INDUCED REM SLEEP DISORDER

AND SUICIDAL THOUGHTS

Because I have focused much of my research on the impairment of sleep by antidepressants I would have liked to see more brought out on their repression of REM sleep. That in turn leads to the acting out of both murders and suicides in a dream state brought on by these medications when they chemically-induce the deadly REM Sleep Disorder. Previous research shows that 86% of those being diagnosed with this deadly sleep disorder long known to include both murder and suicide are currently taking an antidepressant. But because REM Sleep Disorder has long been known as a drug withdrawal state, we need to know how many more might be in antidepressant withdrawal at the time of the thoughts of murder or suicide. You can read more on this aspect of the drugs in our Facebook group Antidepressant-induced REM Sleep Disorder:

Antidepressants: Drugs make people ‘TWICE as likely to think about suicide’ study claims

TAKING anti-depressants could double the risk of having feelings which could lead to suicide – a controversial new study has suggested.

The researchers said believing drugs aren’t dangerous for adults is a misconception

A review of trials of antidepressants taken by healthy adults with no signs of a mental health disorder has found the drugs used to treat the illness doubled the harms related to suicide and violence.Experts working on the study said the analysis was undertaken because the harms of antidepressants, including the risk of suicide, are often explained away as if they are disease symptoms or only a problem in children.Professor Peter Gøtzsche, of the Nordic Cochrane Centre and lead author of the study, said: “While it is now generally accepted that antidepressants increase the risk of suicide and violence in children and adolescents, most people believe that these drugs are not dangerous for adults.“This is a potentially lethal misconception.”

The review has been met with criticism of other experts

He added: “The reporting of harms in drug trials is generally poor.“Our review established that the trials did not report much about their methodology and that the reporting of adverse events was generally inadequate.”Thirteen double-blind, placebo-controlled trials were included in the review by the research team from the Nordic Cochrane Centre and the University of Copenhagen. The researchers believe that the review even ‘underestimates the harms of antidepressants’ since they had access to only the published articles for 11 of the 13 trials, rather than being able to analyse the full data held by the drug companies.

Experts said medications that do good ‘can also do harm’

Professor Gøtzsche added: “It is well documented that drug companies under-report seriously the harms of antidepressants related to suicide and violence, either by simply omittingthem from reports, by calling them something else or by committing scientific misconduct.”However, Professor Sir Simon Wessely, President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and Professor of Psychological Medicine, King’s College London’s Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, said the study ‘changes nothing’.
“This paper shows that antidepressants have side effects such as odd dreams, nervousness and shaking.  This is very familiar to most, if not all, clinicians.”But importantly, no data presented in the paper supports extrapolating from these side-effects to self-harm and violence.“The strongest conclusion one can draw from this data is to say that some symptoms such as agitation occur in depression itself and in response to antidepressants, and that sometimes these symptoms are also experienced by people who go on to commit acts of violence or self-harm.“Overall, medications used in any branch of medicine that do good can also do harm. The same applies in psychiatry.“Current evidence from large scale studies continues to show that for antidepressants the benefits outweigh the risks. If the evidence changes then so will our advice, but this study changes nothing.”

Experts said the study only identified ’emergent harms’ associated with suicide

Dr David Christmas, Member of the Psychopharmacology Committee, Royal College of Psychiatrists and Consultant Psychiatrist in The Advanced Interventions Service, Dundee, said the study is not suitable to answer the questions researchers wanted to ask.

He said: “Most of the trials reported varied in the type of drug used, the dose, duration and the mechanisms of reporting harms.

“Importantly, the study only identified emergent harms that are associated (directly or indirectly) with suicide and violence.

“It didn’t identify a higher rate of these outcomes from the studies they used.”

The study was published today by the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine.

URGENT!! Stop CDC’s Request for Mandatory Drugging or Detention!!!!

This is a total de-ja-vu of IG Farben and their involvement in Hitler’s Dachau and Auschwitz camps of torture and death!!!!!! We only have until mid October to contact lawmakers to stop this from happening. As you will see they already have way too much power and they are asking for more!

This is also one of the main reasons I have not seen a doctor for 45 years!!! After I survived that operating table and made my resolve to throw out all plans of becoming an MD myself as I learned how lucky I was to still be breathing I knew where they were headed with all their medical “help” for us all. This is frightening information and all well documented and presented. This is a battle for freedom like we have never seen before in this country!

In light of what we have just learned about the CDC via the new and amazing documentary VAXXED this step by the CDC is unbelievable when they are clearly who should be prosecuted for their crimes exposed by this CDC whistle blower in this documentary! to have the nerve to conceal the MMR vaccine dangers by throwing the data in the garbage rather than disclose it to the public?! How would they even dare to consider proposing this!!!!! I would say this makes it very, very, very clear what their true intentions really are!

This video NEEDS to go viral!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I hope that you can see they will not stop with the forcing of drugs after vaccines alone.  Because once they get their permission to do this it is obvious where we are headed next…we will all join Mark Taylor, the Columbine survivor who has been forcibly drugged now for seven or eight years to shut him up!!! If you have not seen Mark’s story you need to watch it here:

MARK TAYLOR’S FIGHT FOR COLUMBINE

My good friend Len Horowitz has been warning of this for many years! People need to read his work!

ANTIDEPRESSANT, MUSCLE RELAXANT, ANTI-ANXIETY, & SLEEPING MEDS: Dallas Police Shooter Medicated for Symptoms of PTSD

DALLAS POLICE SHOOTING3

DALLAS POLICE SHOOTING2

“Johnson was prescribed a muscle relaxant, an antidepressant and anti-anxiety and sleep medication, and a nurse offered him tips on managing anger, records show.

He also saw a psychiatrist and was further evaluated for his PTSD symptoms in September of that year, but the physician noted that his mood was “better.”

When providers called Johnson in October 2014, he requested to put off further assessment for PTSD…”

The AP has just run an article discussing the medical records recently released on Micah Johnson, the Dallas Police shooter who just over a month ago on July 7 targeted and killed five Dallas Police officers before being killed. Important excerpts from that article follow below. Let me point out that Micah Johnson did not see heavy combat in Afganistan, but he returned as so many are with symptoms of PTSD which antidepressants do produce. See our Facebook group: Antidepressant-Induced PTSD  https://www.facebook.com/groups/747436358727114/

If you will recall from the following 2010 report we learned that one out of six soldiers in the Iraq/Afghanistan conflict are reportedly being prescribed antidepressants even though the majority are still in the age group of under 25 who are cautioned that doing so will increase the rate of suicidal ideation. http://www.drugawareness.org/ssris-soldiers-one-of-six-prescribed-ssris-iraqafghanistan/

“Upon his return to the U.S. nine months later, Johnson told doctors he was experiencing panic attacks a few times a week, including once while at Wal-Mart, where there was an unspecified conflict that required a police response, the records said.

“Veteran states hearing all the noises, fights and police intervening caused him to have palpitations, ‘My heart felt like someone was pinching it while it was beating fast,'” the records state. Johnson said he began shaking, felt short of breath and got chills following the Wal-Mart incident.

“….he had lower back pain and was avoiding “crowds of people and when in the public, scanning the area for danger, noting all the exits, watching everyone’s actions.”

“I feel like I can’t trust all of these strangers around me,” Johnson told his doctor, who noted that he had taken to drinking since his return to Dallas, consuming three to four shots of vodka up to three times a week. “It’s hard for me to be around other people and I am so angry and irritable.”

We also know that what the VA so often gives for sleep is an antidepressant thereby mixing two antidepressants together which should not be given together due to the strong potential of Serotonin Syndrome. One major example would be the case of the Navy Yard Shooter in 2013 who shot and killed 13 after being given Trazadone for sleep:   (Please see our Facebook group Trazadone Should Be Illegal  https://www.facebook.com/groups/777480962365643/)

We all know that once you are started on medications at the VA they just continue with little followup and we all know how extremely difficult it is to get off these medications once they are started. Add to that the fact that Micah Johnson was being treated by the VA North Texas Health Care System, the second largest VA health care system in the country.

From the article we learn, “In May 2014, new patients seeking mental health care at the Dallas VA faced a 50-day average wait, then the 10th longest in the nation.

“The mother of Gavin Long, the former Marine and Iraq war veteran who killed three law enforcement officers July 17 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, told PBS’ Tavis Smiley that her son had post-traumatic stress disorder and unsuccessfully sought the VA’s help.”

ANTIDEPRESSANTS: CALMING AGENTS OR DEADLY DRUGS? – www.SSRIstories.NET

SSRIstories.NET is a database of the cases our group at the International Coalition for Drug Awareness has gathered over the past 2 1/2 decades, including nearly every school shooter and mass shooter in the country. The question remains in all of these cases as to the level of consciousness of the perpetrator – something that is never tested in the court cases and should be. (Tragically in this case that is no longer an option.) Testing is still back in the dark ages with blood levels of drugs rather than brain waves which will detect the level of consciousness and therefore culpability. These are drugs that accumulate in brain tissue at an alarming rate. Testing the blood tells us nothing about the level of toxicity.

HOW CAN THESE DRUGS CAUSE EVEN LOVING FATHERS OR MOTHERS TO KILL THOSE WHO MEAN THE MOST TO THEM IN LIFE?

Tragically the answer is simple. Antidepressants strongly impair sleep producing a disorder known as a REM Sleep Disorder (RBD) where you act out nightmares in a sleep state. And who gets hurt in your nightmares if not those you care about the most? Of those being diagnosed with RBD 86% are taking an antidepressant and 80% of them hurt themselves or someone else. It has long been know that this includes both murder and suicide as a result. RBD was known basically as a drug withdrawal state before the SSRI antidepressants hit the market. So having someone withdraw slowly enough to avoid serious withdrawal is key in prevention.

Take the case of Andrea Yates, also a nurse, and the third nurse in a three month period to go to court for killing her children – all while on antidepressants. The other two nurses were married to doctors. Just the day before Andrea drowned all five of her children she had two huge dosage changes in her antidepressants (which the FDA warns can produced suicide, hostility, and/or psychosis) so she was on two antidepressants, both at maximum dose when she drowned her children. Rusty Yates will tell you in a heartbeat that losing her children was Andrea’s very worst nightmare. She had even quit her nursing career so she could spend more time with them. (Also during Andrea’s second trial a female doctor in Illinois on one of the antidepressants Andrea was taking stabbed her two sons.)

DREAM OR REALITY???? THIS DEADLY SLEEP DISORDER IS PRODUCED BY ANTIDEPRESSANTS &

KNOWN TO INCLUDE BOTH MURDER AND SUICIDE

What the world remains unaware of is the fact is that 86% of those who are diagnosed with the most deadly sleep disorder known as REM Sleep Disorder (RBD) are currently taking antidepressants. REM Sleep Disorder is a condition in which there is no paralysis during sleep thus allowing the patient to act out the dreams or nightmares they are having. Tragically 80% of those going into this sleep disorder hurt themselves or others including both murder and suicide as a result.

This is possibly the most deadly of all reactions one can have to antidepressants. Even more frightening though is to learn that before the introduction of the SSRI antidepressants RBD was known mainly as a drug withdrawal effect. Thus the chances of going into this dangerous reaction should be expected to increase as one goes into withdrawal. This is why it is so important to avoid as much of the withdrawal effects as possible by tapering off the antidepressant very, very slowly.

EXCESS SEROTONIN PRODUCES EXTREME VIOLENCE

What so many were not aware of is that an increase in serotonin by an accompanying decrease in one’s ability to metabolize serotonin has long been known to produce both impulsive murder and suicide. Yet this is exactly what we are told is how antidepressants produce what we are told is their “therapeutic” or beneficial effect in ridding one of depression and anxiety! See this study out of the Southern California:

ANTIDEPRESSANT WITHDRAWAL: The Most Extreme Dangers of Abrupt Discontinuation

withdrawal can be deadly

Taper vs Abrupt Withdrawal – The Importance of Avoiding Antidepressant Withdrawal via Tapering: Antidepressant withdrawal-induced mania and the REM Sleep Disorder – Dangerous Sleep Disorder Caused by Antidepressants and Long Known as a Drug Withdrawal State

ANTIDEPRESSANT WITHDRAWAL MANIC RAGE EXAMPLES

No one has screamed longer or louder about the dangers of abrupt withdrawal from an antidepressant than I have. The warning has run across the top of our websites from the day any of them were created. Everyone else has always recommended a more rapid withdrawal than I have. My CD on safe withdrawal goes for an hour and a half and contains all we have learned over the past 25 years on safe withdrawal with more information on these drugs than you will find in most books out there on these drugs and is available for download at: https://store.drugawareness.org/product/help-i-cant-get-off-my-antidepressant-mp3-download/

After the FDA hearings in 2004 they placed the Black Box Warnings for increased potential of suicide for youth. At that point the FDA warned that any abrupt change in dose of an antidepressant, whether going up or down in the dose, can cause suicide, hostility or psychosis. The following deadly reactions are the main reason I have been so adamant about a very, very slow, very, very gradual withdrawal from antidepressants. Here is one example of a woman going into a manic rage after missing only ONE dose of her Cymbalta….

http://www.bizpacreview.com/2013/07/29/video-of-woman-going-nuts-over-fender-bender-goes-viral-80598

Now can you imagine, after watching this, what society will be facing if there is ever a reason people cannot get their antidepressants??? This actually happens all the time for various reasons – the profound memory loss the drugs produce, sudden insurance cancellation, paperwork such as in the military where it can take some time for papers to catch up with you or family members in a transfer, going to jail for any reason where they are notorious for abruptly pulling your medications to give you one they make money on, etc.

Although I thought the guy filming her in this video was rather rude and stupid to continue filming her (you NEVER want to treat someone in withdrawal from these meds this way unless you just got a heck of a deal on a coffin!). What I found most shocking is that she seems to be aware how much of a danger she can be in withdrawal as she almost immediately warned the officer that she had skipped her pill that day and could be a serious problem for him even mentioning that she has been known to break arms?! Most patients are aware of this potential manic rage and expect others to understand that. Look at Eric Harris at Columbine. He was threatening to drop off his Luvox in order to “fuel the rage” he felt he needed to accomplish the shooting at Columbine. (There is no indication he did that as his levels of the drug were normal levels in toxicology, but he knew very well the rage withdrawal could produce.

We had a local case a few years ago when I was living in Utah where it was reported that a woman ripped three police officers to shreds. Of course the comments on the article about it were making fun of the officers since three of them could not take a woman down. I called and asked to speak with the officers because I knew exactly what happened – they ran into a woman trying to come off her meds too rapidly. Sure enough…after I explained the super human strength that can come from the adrenalin rushes produced by the abrupt withdrawal the officer did confirm that she was attempting to withdraw from her Paxil. And his almost breathless statement was, “Yeah, she was sure strong!”

ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF MANIC RAGE: Another example of a woman who had been going on and off her medications – a way that FAR TOO MANY doctors seem to think is a safe way to come off antidepressants – on one day, off the next, etc. or using what they call the Prozac Bridge. This is where you drop the one you are on to go on Prozac with the sadly mistaken idea that it is easier to get off of. As a result  you go into abrupt withdrawal from one drug and begin adjusting to yet another which you will have to withdraw from later and go through this all over again – thus creating two traumas for your poor brain to recover from rather than just the one. One other concern about that process is contained in internal company documents most have no access to unless they have filed a lawsuit giving them access which is that apparently serotonin initially goes UP in withdrawal ( may be from the antidepressant beginning to flush from the system) which would give a greater concern for the possibility of Serotonin Syndrome when you are adding yet another antidepressant to the first and including the serotonin increase from the abrupt withdrawal. Obviously that needs to be studied, but do not expect drug companies to pay for that research which will clearly cut their sales!

ANTIDEPRESSANT WITHDRAWAL MANIA HAS LONG BEEN RECOGNIZED AS BEING CAUSED BY

ABRUPT WITHDRAWAL FROM AN ANTIDEPRESSANT

As I mentioned earlier after the FDA hearings in 2004 they placed the Black Box Warnings for increased potential of suicide for youth. At that point the FDA warned that any abrupt change in dose of an antidepressant, whether going up or down in the dose, can cause suicide, hostility or psychosis. When you switch drugs you are making two abrupt changes in dose coming off one and increasing and adjusting to a new one – very deadly potential reactions in doing that. I wish people understood the damage caused by abrupt withdrawal. Because of the shock to the brain from pulling a substance abruptly from it that it has adjusted all of its chemicals to that drug being in the mix it can trigger seizure activity within the brain. Seizure activity produces brain damage. That is why I have always said patients need to sneak very slowly and carefully away from these drugs thus avoiding withdrawal as much as possible so as to not trigger the REM Sleep Disorder, Antidepressant Withdrawal Rage or Antidepressant Withdrawal Mania. If you have attempted cold turkey withdrawal before you need to consider how many times you have potentially suffered brain damage through cold turkey or abrupt withdrawal.

Keep in mind that abrupt withdrawal is not much different than coming off a tall mountaintop in one jump as opposed to  coming down off that mountain one baby step at a time. It is more than obvious which is preferable. And would you not treat the injuries incurred in that jump if you landed halfway down that mountain before you continue to make your way on down to the bottom? Of course you would! I recommend going to our site www.drugawareness.org/alternatives to see what others have found over the past 25 years to help them recover from those injuries. You need to work with your body and brain to assist them in this recovery. What I consider the most important alternatives in preventing these serious reactions are first the changing of one’s diet to avoid ANY stimulant, Noni juice, Relaxese, and a Calcium/Magnesium supplement like CALMS along with various essential aromatherapy oils which are apparently so effective that the FDA will no longer allow me to share even personal experiences with you while they have 4000 pages of studies on them on government sites!

Now to give you an idea of what antidepressant withdrawal mania could involve so you can see why you would never ever want to experience it I invite you to visit our Facebook group Antidepressant-induced Bipolar & Schizophrenia at:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1605446559734283/

And also  listen to me discuss that in three whole minutes (as that is all the time they gave any of us) with the FDA in their 2006 hearing on increasing their warnings of suicide to those under the age of 25:

REM SLEEP DISORDER (RBD) – A DANGEROUS SLEEP DISORDER IN WHICH ONE ACTS OUT NIGHTMARES

DURING WHICH 80% HURT THEMSELVES OR SOMEONE ELSE – INCLUDES MURDER & SUICIDE

withdrawal

Eli Lilly, the makers of the antidepressants Prozac and Cymbalta, had a nightmare on their hands right after our first FDA hearing in February of 2004 when they learned for themselves just how deadly the withdrawal from antidepressants can be. Nineteen year old Traci Johnson was a test subject in their laboratory taking their new antidepressant Cymbalta to test the drug on healthy volunteers to learn of its toxic effects. After taking Cymbalta for 20 days Traci was weaned off over only a four day period. She was then found hanging from the shower rod in the laboratory.  A full report of what happened can be found here: http://www.rense.com/general66/tradesecret.htm

After this death in their own laboratory it was reported that Eli Lilly doubled the length of their withdrawal for patients coming off Cymbalta. So it went to a length of time we have generally found to be safe over the past 25 years as we have warned that one should take about half the amount of time on one of these drugs to wean off and a little over a year for each five years on antidepressants.

Was Traci suffering RBD when she hung herself? Because it has long been known mainly as a drug withdrawal state the chances are high that she did. During normal REM sleep the muscles in the body become paralyzed and only keeps the necessary functions of the body working such as respiration, heart beat, etc. There are a small group of cells in the brain stem that control REM (dreaming sleep). When these cells become injured or diseased, people do not experience the muscle paralysis associated with REM sleep, which can lead to REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD)-a serious condition in which the afflicted violently act out their dreams.
In this sleep state known as RBD, people have been known, not only to drive, but to do things completely uncharacteristic of themselves such as fight like a military person although never serving in the military, become promiscuous, but also even to murder those close to them and to take their own lives in this sleep state. Murder and suicide have long been known to be a symptom of REM sleep disorder. This is an unconscious state without normal inhibitions and full of automatic behavior based on whatever dream you may be having. This link http://www.oddee.com/item_96680.aspx will show you some of the MANY possibilities when you are acting out your dreams or nightmares while experiencing RBD.
At drugawareness.org we have many of these types of cases which were induced by the use of antidepressants. Keep in mind that the most common side effect of antidepressants is insomnia, especially in withdrawal, so those in antidepressant withdrawal often have their chances of experiencing RBD increased by being prescribed drugs similar to Ambien.http://www.3news.co.nz/…/…/423/articleID/308999/Default.aspx
Over 80% of those who go into RBD hurt themselves or others. I have one book I have written on RBD and am finishing up an ebook now.

Although rare in the past we are seeing more and more of this deadly disorder. While drugs similar to Zolpidem (Ambien) are found in 3% of these cases what few are aware of is the research by America’s two foremost experts on this disorder showing that 86% of the cases they are diagnosing with RBD are patients currently taking an antidepressant. But because RBD has long been known as a “drug withdrawal state” the risk of RBD in antidepressant withdrawal or Zolpidem and similar drugs could be far greater!
The worst of this disorder is when it is a nightmare you are experiencing when you go into this sleepwalk state. For two decades I have listened to people repeat over and over to me after coming safely off an antidepressant, “I acted out my worst nightmare on this drug!” And, as I testified before the FDA, this previously rare sleep disorder of RBD is exactly what comedian Phil Hartman’s wife experienced when she shot her famous husband under the influence of two serotogenic drugs: Zoloft and Ultram (Tramadol).

Anyone is hing additional information on this most dangerous sleep disorder can find it in our Facebook group Antidepressant-induced REM Sleep Disorder at:

As we are always searching for faster ways to come off these deadly antidepressants in a safe manner we encourage you to continue to check our DrugAwareness.org/alternatives page for any new information we have on that. There has to be a safe way to do that but as yet in 25 years of searching there is still no way I have found to come down rapidly. There are some things that can really help to speed things up, but after having someone who attempted to come down twice as fast as what we have found to be safe of half the amount of time on to wean off or in longer term use taking a little over a year for each five years on the drugs (add any use of any antidepressant to determine period of use NOT just the time on the current medication) I do not feel safe in suggesting it. She continued to assure me she was fine and after a year of withdrawing, after ten years on Zoloft, a month or so off the drug she got up early one morning (REM Sleep Disorder) and took a baseball bat to her husband, her childhood sweetheart, and had no recall of what she had done. He gave her two options: jail or a hospital. She spent 30 days in a psychiatric hospital at the cost of $30,000 and came out of there back on Zoloft and five other medications she had to wean down off. Was taking one more year to wean that bad in comparison? I think not!

The only hope I have seen in coming down faster would be in the video testimonies on our Alternatives page at drugawareness.org and a documentary movie “May I Be Frank” where a man on antidepressants for 10 years was taken off Effexor and quite a few other medications and suffering from diabetes is brought down rapidly by a group of young men attempting to help him with his health. They put him on an extremely strict raw food Vegan diet, had him medically monitored throughout, gave him massive amounts of wheat grass juice, and did regular colonics, etc. (Watch the movie for all the details.) It was very miraculous, but I do not know many who could feasibly do that and continue their normal routines in life although I think it important for people to know it can possibly be done this way. This man did have a relapse though a year or two later as it was too fast a withdrawal even with all those helps but it was mild enough that he was able to pull out of that and get back on track. He would have been much better off seeing Dr. Gabriel Cousins at the Tree of Life Center for this but obviously they really did not know what they were getting into with antidepressant withdrawal as most do not. His change is absolutely amazing though! These young men clearly saved Frank’s life! See Frank’s story here:

ANTIDEPRESSANTS: TEN DEAD, TWO MURDER/SUICIDES IN “SHORT” FAMILIES IN LESS THAN A YEAR

In this September 2014, photo, Willow Short is pictured center at four months old, along with her parents Megan and Mark and sister then six-year-old sister Liana and three-year-old brother Mark

Mark and Megan Short Family

This morning the nation learned that Mark Short (40) and his wife Megan (33) and their three small children, 8-year-old Liana, 5-year-old Mark and 2-year-old Willow were all found shot in another murder/suicide. Two families by the last name of Short dead in less than a year due to an antidepressant-induced murder/suicide. (Were they possibly related?) The family had been in the news the past couple of years due to the youngest child Willow being one of the youngest heart transplant cases in the country getting a new heart only six days after birth.

The family (pictured) were found dead on Thursday in different rooms of their luxury home

Brian & Karen Short Family

Next month it will be a year ago the nation learned that in Minnesota Brian Short, 45, head of the online group for nurses Allnurses.com, had shot his entire family – his wife Karen Short, 48, and their three children – Cole, 17, Madison, 15, and Brooklyn, 14, before shooting himself. A week later the news came out that Brian was taking an antidepressant – drugs which include warnings of suicidal and homicidal obsessive compulsive thoughts and actions.

Willow Short (pictured) had survived a heart-transplant for two years before she was killed along with her parents and two siblings in an apparent murder-suicide on Saturday

WHO WAS THE SHOOTER IN THE PA MURDER/SUICIDE?

In this case, although it has not yet been announced yet, all day I have had the feeling that the shooter was Megan. Although we yet await that confirmation and it is clear that both parents had been through so much and either of them could have been medicated for that kind of trauma. But after authorities seemed to be holding back what was in the suicide note left behind and the not disclosing whose body the gun was found near….People still have trouble believing that women can be this violent – something that really stood out for me as I began gathering these antidepressant-induced tragedies. Well I just got confirmation on the 10:00 local news in PA that I may be correct as they stated that Megan was open on her Facebook page about suffering PTSD from all they went through with baby Williow’s heart transplant and was taking medication for it.  “Megan Short said anxiety over her daughter’s condition had left her with post-traumatic stress disorder. She said she suffered from “anxiety and nightmares” triggered by smells, hallways or even the beeping sound of a phone. She also said she experienced “survivor’s guilt” when children with similar problems from other families passed away. I don’t think PTSD ever truly goes away but, with therapy, medication, and the right support, I have begun to loosen its grip on me,” … “As I work on my own mental healing, I wanted to share my experience so that other heart parents know they are not alone.”  What they give in the way of medication for PTSD is an antidepressant. Which is ironic considering PTSD is so often caused by antidepressants. There is a Facebook group titled “Antidepressant-Induced PTSD” located at https://www.facebook.com/groups/747436358727114/

According to an excellent investigative report posted at http://heavy.com/news/2016/08/mark-short-megan-willow-sinking-spring-pennsylvania-liana-murder-suicide-family-heart-transplant-prescription-drugs-facebook-photos/ Megan said she was on Paxil.

You can watch the latest news report with that information documented on the following link to that news report here which I would encourage you to watch as it is the latest news as of Sunday 10:00 PM Eastern:

SINKING SPRINGS, PA WHERE PAXIL HAS HEARTS SINKING ONCE AGAIN

In this PA murder/suicide of the Mark Short family as I said when they withheld mentioning what was in the suicide note and which of the two adults the gun was found near I immediately thought of a case I am very familiar with in Flower Mound, TX. In that case in yet another affluent neighborhood as all three of these were, Andrea Roberts, 41, shot her sleeping husband Michael, 41, and two young children Micayla, 11, and Dylan, 7, before shooting herself only two weeks after starting on the antidepressant Zoloft. Andrea left a rambling suicide note about how she had to kill her family and herself because they all had AIDS. Of course their the autopsies showed none of them had any sign of AIDS. But the extremely vivid nightmares produced by these drugs, which patients say are more real to them than reality, become their new reality and they begin to question what is real. In Andrea’s mind it had become real that they all had AIDS and her only choice was to shoot everyone.

Such are the horrific delusions brought on by these drugs…a new reality that produces these real life nightmares that no one who knows them can believe are real. In Megan Short’s case she was on the drug I refer to as Prozac #3, Paxil. It has horrific withdrawal and is the same drug found to be responsible in the mass murder/suicide of the Donald Schell family in Gillette,  WY in which the jury found only two pills mainly responsible in a wrongful death suit and awarded $6.4 Million to the two remaining family members. It happened in February of 1998 just a few months before I was in Western Wyoming on a Paxil-induced murder case where a woman shot her husband while he slept and had no memory of it. All she knew was that she when she was conscious of where she was and what was going on her husband was lying in his bed with a gunshot through his head and she was standing at the top of the stairs with a “smoking gun” in her hand. So she said, “I figured I must have done it so I walked over to the sheriff’s office and turned myself in. While there for her trial I learned of the Donald Schell case in Eastern Wyoming and contacted the woman in Jerry Spence’s office (the famous cowboy attorney with the leather jacket who was the one attorney interviewed throughout the OJ Simpson case which also involved one of these drugs, Prozac.  According to OJ’s best friend if OJ committed the killing of his wife and friend, Prozac was the reason it happened.) who was working with the family in the Donald Schell murder/suicide.

Donald Schell was a non-violent family man and a doting grandfather, who after being prescribed Paxil took only two pills over a two day period. After that second dose he got up in the middle of the night and took a .22 caliber pistol and a 357 magnum and shot and killed the three people he loved the most in the world – his wife Rita, his daughter Deb and his only grand-baby Alyssa. He then shot himself. These are only a handful of cases that are related to these drugs which is why there is a Facebook group titled: Paxil (Paroxetine, Seroxat) Should Be Illegal located at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/370289153168180/

There were other indications Paxil was taking its toll on Megan. They mentioned marital issues between Mark and Megan. Those marital issues according to additional documentation on the Heavy.com link above was that she had left her husband for a while for an affair with another transplant mom. This is something we often see in cases involving antidepressants. According to some more recent scientific research serotonin is what determines sexual preference. And beyond that 2000 scientists joined together in the year 2000 to voice their grave concerns that male fish were being born with ovaries due to their exposure to Prozac in the water supply. http://www.alternet.org/speakeasy/martharosenberg/drug-store-your-tap-water-and-fish-prozac

OUR PREVIOUS BLOG ON THE SHORT FAMILY MURDER/SUICIDE LAST YEAR

ANTIDEPRESSANTS: Brian Short, CEO of ALLNURSES.com killed his wife and three children before killing himself

HOW CAN A LOVING FATHER OR MOTHER KILL THOSE WHO MEAN THE MOST TO THEM IN LIFE?

THIS DEADLY SLEEP DISORDER PRODUCED BY ANTIDEPRESSANTS &

What so many were not aware of is that an increase in serotonin by an accompanying decrease in one’s ability to metabolize serotonin was long known to produce both impulsive murder and suicide. See this study out of the Southern California:

19 DEAD 25 WOUNDED IN KNIFE ATTACK

“A knife-wielding man broke into a facility for the disabled in a small town near Tokyo early on Tuesday and killed 19 patients as they slept….

“The suspect was a 26-year-old former employee of the facility who gave himself up to police. The man, Satoshi Uematsu, said in letters he wrote in February that he could “obliterate 470 disabled people”, Kyodo news agency reported.

“He said he would kill 260 severely disabled people at two areas in the facility during a night shift, and would not hurt employees.

“My goal is a world in which the severely disabled can be euthanized, with their guardians’ consent, if they are unable to live at home and be active in society,” Uematsu wrote in the two letters given to the speaker of the lower house of parliament, Kyodo reported.

“Uematsu was committed to hospital after he expressed a “willingness to kill severely disabled people”, an official in Sagamihara told Reuters. He was freed on March 2 after a doctor deemed he had improved, the official said.”

Brief History of SSRI Antidepressants in Japan

In April 1999 the Japanese version of our Associated Press sent a reporter over to spend a week with me in Salt Lake City after he had read my book Prozac: Panacea or Pandora? because Japan was about to approve the first SSRI in that country. He arrived only a few days after Columbine happened. While he was visiting I was scheduled to do a radio show at KTKK in Salt Lake so I invited him along. In the middle of doing that show we learned which antidepressant Eric Harris was taking at the time of the Columbine shooting – Luvox, the same SSRI that Japan was about to approve! Needless to say there was certainly a look of shock on his face as we got that news. I heard from him within a few weeks after he returned home to Japan as he wrote to let me know that there had been a case in Japan involving antidepressants where a man on the drugs stabbed a pilot to death and took over a plane in flight. More information on that case can be found in our database of documented cases www.SSRIstories.NET where you will see the antidepressant was used in his defense of that murder:  http://ssristories.net/archive/show1dd2.html?item=607

Then in 2001 there was another terrible mass stabbing in Japan in an attack by a man who admitted taking extra antidepressants before attacking and stabbing to death 8 small children. This can happen when someone takes extra pills thinking they are not yet feeling the depression lift or it can also be the tragic outcome of a suicidal overdose attempt.

When we take a look at this 2001 case in Japan where 8 children were stabbed to death and many more injured….You will also see why the option of overdosing on an antidepressant is not only dangerous for you, but for everyone around you. Columbine Mark Taylor joins me in this Fox news interview about several other cases you will find very interesting even if you have heard about them before, including the Wyoming mass murder case involving the Donald Schell family where Paxil was found guilty of this murder.

Who Is To Blame For All This Violence?

Obviously drug makers who put profit above patients are to blame, but WE also are to blame for allowing so called “medications” on the market which have both homicidal and suicidal ideation (compulsive thoughts and actions of both suicide and homicide and the weapons to commit either). Why is that okay?

Look at this database of thousands of documented cases of violence by those taking antidepressants: www.SSRIstories.NET And before anyone dismisses these cases as anecdotal evidence listen to what the Father of Psychopharmacology said below about the great importance of anecdotal evidence and read this medical report done using this database as the basis for the report: Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI) Drugs: More Risks Than Benefits?http://www.drugawareness.org/kauffman-study-selective-serotonin-reuptake-inhibitor-ssri-drugs-more-risks-than-benefits/

Importance of Anecdotal Evidence (Patient Reports) in Removing Drugs From the Market

People often dismiss patient reports forgetting that peer reviewed research is NOT what gets drugs pulled from the market. Its purpose is to get drugs approved, not removed. But what got Thalidomide removed from the market? It was all the cases of missing arms and legs of the babies born to the mothers of those who took the drug.

This statement on the importance of anecdotal evidence as opposed to peer reviewed double blind studies is from Dr. Johnathan Cole, MD, the father of Psychopharmacology:

“The real world is not perfect. Drugs can and do cause adverse effects which can resemble the manifestations of the illness and arguments about the causes and nature of these adverse events, including suicides, must rest on case reports [anecdotal evidence] and data collected in small studies for other purposes. . . If some cases stand out strikingly, there are logically others where the adverse effect is more subtle.”

Tragically it appears that these deadly drugs have continued to disrupt the peace of the country of Japan as so many others now as well.

Deadly Drugs – Database of Thousands of Antidepressant-Induced Tragedies … www.SSRIstories.NET

CYMBALTA: Canadian Man in Bathrobe Kills One, Wounds One At Election Celebration

Richard Bain Arrest

“It’s totally different from my character. All my life I worked and helped other people.”

Please read at least this part of this article to see how this poor man became so manic on Cymbalta. Why did no one catch such blatantly obvious manic behavior, indicating a serious toxic reaction to this drug, BEFORE this fatal tragedy?!! If it was subtle hypomanic behavior that would be one thing but this is clearly extreme manic behavior with the wild spending, wild promiscuous behavior, cravings for alcohol, etc. For more information on this antidepressant side effect see my 2006 presentation to the FDA, my DVD “Bipolar, Are You Misdiagnosed Due to the Use of or Abrupt Discontinuation of an Antidepressant? and come to our Facebook group Antidepressant-Induced Bipolar and Schizophrenia:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/1605446559734283/

BLAMES ANTIDEPRESSANT CYMBALTA

“Richard Bain claimed that he was a responsible, hard-working, caring person but his character changed after taking the anti-depressant Cymbalta in 2009.

“He said he broke off a 20-year relationship with his girlfriend and began visiting strip bars every night, hiring prostitutes and quickly burning through an inheritance and savings of $900,000.

“He told the court he spent a lot of money on “limousines, the best of wine, champagne, strippers.”

“With Cymbalta, you don’t think correctly,” he testified later. “I had all the energy in the world. Things come to my mind and I do it. You don’t think things out. It makes you not responsible.”

“He said video footage of him at the shooting scene wearing a blue bathrobe and ski mask, yelling “The English are waking up,” as police led him away, was unrecognizable. “It’s totally different from my character. All my life I worked and helped other people,” he said. Asked what could explain the change, he said: “To me it was the medications.”

“Bain testified that he had no memory of opening fire outside the celebrations. As the defence opened at his trial for the first-degree murder of lighting technician Denis Blanchette and the attempted murder of stagehand David Courage….

“On Sept. 4, 2012, provincial election day, Bain testified that he drove to Montreal to visit his sister-in-law in hospital and he became upset because she was suffering while she waited for an operation. As he was leaving at around 6:30 p.m., he asked his brother where the Metropolis concert hall was, because he heard that the PQ election-night party would be there. He said he decided to take a look out of curiosity, and he drove by it in his GMC Yukon three times before leaving. That, he told the jury, is where his memory of the day ends. He said his sister-in-law’s suffering affected him deeply.

AN ADDITIONAL EIGHT PILLS CONSUMED BEFORE SHOOTING?!!!

“My depression that day came over me like a wave,” he testified. He said that in addition to his regular dose of one 60 mg Cymbalta capsule taken in the morning, he downed at least eight more after leaving the hospital.

“Shown video footage of his vehicle arriving behind the Metropolis shortly before midnight, of a figure leaving the vehicle and approaching the concert hall’s rear entrance and of his subsequent arrest as police pinned him to the ground, he said he had no memory of the events.”

This reminds me so much of one of the very first cases I worked on in the early 90’s. A teen in Florida living with a couple of friends had become depressed and knew that one of his friends had a bottle of Zoloft sitting on top of the fridge she had decided she did not want to take. He knew it was for depression so he took one to see if it would help. When he did not feel less depressed after 15 minutes he took another, and after 15 more minutes he took another.

After taking eight pills he has no memory of what happened. But the official police record shows that he met a homeless man and stabbed him 100 times with a screwdriver. Last I knew he was given a sentence of life in prison for murder.

It is just so sad that such dangerous drugs are prescribed so freely and with so little concern and are sitting around people’s homes where anyone has access to them with little to no warning of how deadly they can be!!!

TESTIMONIES BEFORE THE FDA DESCRIBE BAIN’S MANIC BEHAVIOR

If you watch the two following video presentations before the FDA you will hear that increasing serotonin has long been known to produce everything this man experienced.
