ANTIDEPRESSANT??? Fremont High, Ogden, UT Student Planned Shooting

Fremont High School

Fremont High, Ogden, UT, Student With Gun

Freemont High School in Ogden, UT was put on lockdown for three hours today. Yet another school shooting incident was prevented by students reporting seeing another student with a gun. Swat teams were called in and the student arrested.

“In an interview with detectives the student said he had brought the gun to school with the intent to shoot a particular student then to open fire on other classmates.”

ANTIDEPRESSANTS??? People Being Pushed Into Path of Subway Train

subway killing

Wai Kuen Kwok, 61, Pushed in front of Subway Train

In the Bronx a man was pushed in the path of a subway train in front of his wife. There was no apparent reason for the attack. This was the fourth attack in the recent past like this. When we see these killings with no apparent motive, which is something that law enforcement have been puzzled about for about two decades now, it is very likely that they are cases of homicidal ideation from the use of antidepressants.

The side effect termed “homicidal ideation” means constant compulsive thoughts and actions of killing and the same ruminating thoughts of various methods of killing. The thoughts are of killing, not necessarily who or what, but just the compulsion to destroy anyone or anything.

Note this statement in the article below on this latest killing by pushing someone in front of a subway train which was said to be “an act that appeared unprovoked”

Three other cases in past two years

“There have been three other incidents in recent years that involved a person being pushed onto the tracks.

“In April 2013, a train ran over a man desperately clawing at a Manhattan subway platform after being pushed onto the tracks by a homeless suspect with whom he’d been arguing.

“In December 2012, another homeless man was arrested for pushing a Queens straphanger in front of a Times Square train that fatally crushed him.

“Later the same month, a mumbling woman pushed a man to his death in front of a subway train in Queens.”

Homeless Connection to Cases and to Antidepressants

Note how many of those committing these attacks were described as homeless or described as obviously suffering psychosis. Hopefully you are aware of how many of the homeless are in a homeless situation because of the use of and adverse effects of antidepressants and other psychiatric meds. The numbers are very high, yet our “benevolent” government and charity organizations are so helpful in continuing to supply their drugs for them as they remain seemingly oblivious to the fact that the drugs are the problem which led them to the situations they are in. Anyway my guess would be that we would find antidepressant use behind all of these incidents.

New York Subway Bombing Case

I do hope you are also aware of the case of Edward Leary, the New York City Subway bomber, who blew up the subway train he was on while on Prozac. He said it could not have been him who did this because he fell asleep on the subway before the explosion. Now if you have read the chapter in my book on the REM Sleep Disorder being caused mainly by the use of antidepressants (86%) in which patients act out their nightmares in a sleep state you would understand how significant his statement about falling asleep before the bombing was. He ran 2 miles after the explosion with his tennis shoes melted to his feet. He was also writing a book on the NY subway system because he was so completely fastenated by it. His brother in law headed the Bingham NY Police Department. Can you see from all this how blowing up the subway would fit as this man’s worst nightmare?

AMERICAN ADDICT 2 TRAILER – SCHOOL SHOOTINGS ADDRESSED

AMERICAN ADDICT1

Mental Illness or Medication Induced Psychosis?

I just received the trailer for American Addict 2 which we have been filming this past year. It will be out in February/March of 2015. I hope you all come to see it. It will focus a lot of attention on the problems with antidepressants in our society. As you can see from the trailer  the school shootings are addressed as well.

Dr. Gregory Smith and his producer Sasha Knezev are doing an amazing job of addressing America’s real drug problem – prescription drugs. American Addict 1 was #1 on Netflix for several months this past year. Hopefully you have had a chance to see it already.

ANTIDEPRESSANTS??? The Foster System: Foster Mother Kills 2 Year Old in Her Care

Alex Hill

ALEX HILL, 2, BEFORE CPS (Child Protective Services)

ALEX HILL HOSPITAL

ALEX HILL, AFTER CPS (Child Protective Services)

Additional glaring evidence of what a complete misnomer the “Child Protective Services” really is as yet another child is murdered by her foster mother. Taken by the State from her parents because her father admitted to smoking marijuana after she would go to bed at night. She was then given to a foster family where the father was recovering from a crack cocaine addiction!

What seems to not be commonly known is the massive amounts of drugs that run through the whole CPS. Most children in the Foster Care System are drugged with mind altering/behavior altering medications. To add to that insanity both the CPS workers and foster parents in the system are also heavily medicated. Having a child caught up in this system is about the same as sending these little children straight to hell! This sweet little girl is one of many more whose lives have been shattered by this sick and insane system!

Several years ago Senator Charles Grassley did a probe to investigate how government funds were being milked to fund the mass drugging of these children. The children who have grown up in the system have produced their own YouTube videos about how they were drugged. I have often encouraged those who have lost their children to antidepressant-induced suicides to adopt a child, certainly not to replace their own child, but in order to help an innocent and helpless child escape this insane system.

The workers once off their meds confess of their delusions about Satan worship, other types of assumed abuses and false accusations against parents due to their own antidepressant-induced paranoid delusions. But it comes much too late to put these innocent families back together again. Seems the whole system needs to be dismantled and we need to start over.

I have mentioned before that I did an interview in 1992 with Salt Lake City magazine and the reporter was able to document at that time that 60% of Utah State employees were on antidepressants. Considering this widespread use of antidepressants among government employees and knowing the strong potential effects of these drugs to produce manic psychosis it is easy to see why we now have so much insanity within our government!

Unfortunately the same is true in many other nations around the world. For instance the Australian Parliament admits to 25% of them taking antidepressants.

Start looking around you and you will begin to clearly see the impact of these drugs upon our world. And PLEASE support these parents in raising awareness!!!!

ANTIDEPRESSANTS??? Yet another UT son kills his mother and commits suicide

UT Son Kills Elderly Mother and Self

Yet another antidepressant-induced murder/suicide in Utah??? Most likely. Makes you wonder just how many cases the state needs to see before they finally wake up to this Serotonin Nightmare in which they live!

Check out the long list of just the Utah cases in this database beginning with the Pleasant Grove case in 1989 of a mother who bludgeoned her 17 year old son to death with a sledge hammer while he slept and then attempted to kill herself by drinking every poison she could find in the garage while under the influence of Prozac. www.ssristories.NET

ANTIDEPRESSANTS??? QUADRUPLE AMPUTEE SON KILLS PARENTS, COMMITS SUICIDE

sean petrozzino

Sean Petrozzino

When we first heard about the murder case this past week of Michael and Nancy Petrozzino I suspected we would soon hear about the suicide of their son who was the suspect in their deaths. The story of Sean’s suicide broke in Memphis, TN late last night. Cases involving antidepressant-induced homicidal ideation will generally produce the antidepressant-induced suicidal ideation next. Orlando, FL has long been a hotbed for these cases, as has all of Florida actually, so I suspect to hear about the use of antidepressants soon as well.

In fact I have worked with two different doctors there as a support to them in their very serious reactions to antidepressants – one, a previously happy married man and father of several children, lost his business, became an alcoholic, cocaine addict and became gay on the antidepressants and the other shot and killed his wife.

And the last time I stayed in Orlando I was the house guest of a fellow I helped in MI when his wife, a nurse, killed their two small daughters, her sister and herself on Prozac. You really need to see how extremely widespread these tragedies are.

Michael and Nancy Petrozinno

Michael and Nancy Petrozzino

Anyway as this case develops please watch for all the clues as to the medication use of this young man. He suffered a serious disease which cost him all four of his limbs which is more than reason enough for any doctor in this country to suggest the use of an antidepressant.

ANTIDEPRESSANT??? NURSE KILLED UP TO 39 PATIENTS FOR BEING ANNOYING?

Daniela Poggiali

Italian Nurse, Daniela Poggali, 42

One of the early cases I worked was that of nurse Dana Sue Gray who killed several patients while under the influence of the SSRI antidepressant, Paxil. This has kept me alert to other cases of nurses killing patients. She became a serial killer – something considered rare at the time for women. But antidepressants have certainly changed that statistic! Here is more on her case from our database: http://www.ssristories.net/show61aa/

So this new case out of Italy makes me wonder, especially when knowing how many medical personnel are on antidepressants coupled with hearing reports of her personality mentioned below ….. it sounds like someone having serious toxic reactions to an antidepressant with the rage and uncaring and mean spirited attitude…..

Daniela Poggiali was arrested by officers in Lugo, northern Italy, after the unexpected death of a 78-year-old patient who was admitted with a routine illness.

Today they revealed they had widened their inquiry to include 38 deaths, including ten which have been described as ‘very suspicious’.

One report by the Central European news agency said she was accused of giving her patients high doses of potassium because she found them or their families annoying…..

He added Poggiali was ‘unperturbed’ when she was arrested in the last few days.
In local reports, one nurse who worked with Poggiali described her as a ‘cold person but always eager to work’.

Another claimed Poggiali, who is being held on a murder charge, had once given powerful laxatives to patients towards the end of her shift to ’embarrass’ colleagues working on the shift after her.

ANTIDEPRESSANT: Irish Man Hacks Parents to Death

Kathleen and Jimmy Cuddihy

Kathleen and Jimmy Cuddihy

Ireland: Elderly couple hacked to death while their 42 year old “depressed” son, Julian, has been arrested for the brutal murder as the rest of the world is rapidly catching up with the US in these horrific antidepressant-induced nightmares!

From the original article below find all of the highlighted parts of the article that make it clear what the all too typical scenario is … the mother is a nurse, the son is “depressed” which next leads to a trip to the doctor for medication which makes the son change from the mild mannered man he has always been to a raging drug-induced maniac hell bent on murder and listed in the antidepressant side effects as “homicidal ideation.” And when found he is in his parents car about to drive into the lake in a suicide attempt…also listed in the package insert as a reaction to the medication listed as “suicidal ideation” – how can it really be all that difficult to figure out?

Amazing that when a lie is told long enough the people really do believe the drugs are helping in spite of the evidence glaring at them as bright as the noon day sun that the opposite is true!

Excerpts from original article below:

“The elderly victims had suffered multiple wounds. A hatchet was found at the scene.

“The mechanical engineer had worked in recent years in both Dublin and England and had been studying more recently at the University of Limerick. Friends who saw him earlier in the week said he appeared “angry and agitated”, which they found odd.

“Julian is a normally quiet soul, well educated and articulate but he just didn’t appear to be himself in recent days,” said one friend.

“It’s understood he had been suffering from depression.

Kathleen was a retired nurse and paramedic.”

Thank You FDA for Yet ANOTHER Deadly Diet Drug!!!!!!

WELLBUTRIN

CONTRAVE (WELLBUTRIN) FOR WEIGHT LOSS?

As if the ravages of the serotonergic diet drugs Phen Fen and Redux in the mid 90’s did not generate enough pain and suffering, the FDA next approved a drug almost identical to Redux that had just been pulled from the market for the heart damage, but more for the brain damage it caused. The new drug Merida was finally pulled from the market in 2010 I believe. And since then the FDA has “blessed” us with three new diet drugs since 2012. Qsymia (phentermine and topiramate) and Belviq (lorcaserin) were both approved that year and both of them are serotonergic drugs with similar side effect profile of the SSRI antidepressants including Serotonin Syndrome and suicide. Then the latest weight loss drug was approved on September 10, 2014.

The brand name of the new drug is Contrave. But it is not actually a new drug, as most are not any more, but it is a combination of two presently approved drugs, the antidepressant Wellbutrin and Naltrexone, an anti-addiction drug.

With this drug those in the clinical trials lost an amazing 2% – 4% more than those on placebo! Over a six month period they lost 25 pounds.

Wow! Now doesn’t that sound effective?! Sure makes me want to try it! How about you? Funny that going to a raw Vegan diet and being out on a farm this summer I lost 15 pounds in four months this summer. No wonder we find the following statement in the following article about the new “diet drug”….

A most classic statement: “Is the new drug meant to be used in combination with diet and exercise? …. Absolutely, doctors agree. “If you try to use it in isolation, that patient is not going to have success,” says Bipan Chand, MD.”

So there is no cutting corners with the drug, you cannot just take the drug and lose weight. You have to do diet and exercise with it for it to work. So … what really produces the weight loss? Obviously it is the diet and exercise!

Somehow I have trouble believing there is much of anything this drug does to help. Certainly seems that it would not be worth taking the chance with Wellbutrin as part of the combination that makes up this drug. Wellbutrin is the antidepressant that Donna Fairchild, the City Counselwoman who was running for Mayor in Mesquite, NV, took a couple of years ago as a stop smoking aid. Then in abrupt withdrawal from the drug she shot her husband and herself. Donna and her husband were both retired Denver police officers.

For many other similar examples of what can happen on Wellbutrin I would suggest you go to our database of cases at www.ssristories.net and click on the option of which drug the person was on and read all of the Wellbutrin cases there. That will give you some idea of whether you think a 2% to 4% weight loss is worth taking such a chance. Since I got straight A’s in math, you will certainly not see me standing in line for a prescription for this drug! (Or any other, for that matter with all I know now about Pharma and their practices!)

And just for fun I suggest you go to http://www.belviq.com/ and read the Important Safety Information on Belviq. I assure you it will surprise you what all you are going to find there. Clearly none of these drugs can be taken safely with an antidepressant which causes the weight gain for which you might consider a weight loss medication!

ORIGINAL ARTICLE:By Kathleen Doheny
WebMD Health News Reviewed by Arefa Cassoobhoy, MD, MPH

Sept. 11, 2014 — The FDA’s approval on Wednesday of a new prescription weight-loss pill offers yet another option for the more than one-third of American adults who are obese. Called Contrave, the new drug is the third prescription weight-loss drug to be approved by the FDA since 2012. It’s also approved for those not obese but overweight with risk factors such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes.

Contrave joins Qsymia (phentermine and topiramate) and Belviq (lorcaserin). Both were approved in 2012.

Contrave combines two drugs already on the market: bupropion (Wellbutrin), an antidepressant, and naltrexone, an anti-addiction drug. Because it contains bupropion, the new drug will have a boxed warning to alert doctors and patients to the increased risk of suicidal thoughts that are linked with antidepressants.

Weight loss experts say all three drugs work in similar ways, but they welcome Contrave as yet another option, especially since not all weight loss drugs work the same for everyone.

The FDA approval came after the agency looked at new information it requested from the drug’s maker in 2011 to be sure the drug was safe for the heart. Even so, the approval came with a requirement to do another study about the drug’s effect on the heart.

Here’s what else to know about the new drug.

How does Contrave work?

”It takes away hunger and the cravings for food,” says John Foreyt, PhD, professor of medicine and director of the Behavioral Medicine Research Center at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. He was a researcher on a clinical trial studying Contrave. He does not have financial ties to Orexigen, the drug’s maker, or to Takeda Pharmaceuticals, which plans to market the new drug.

How the combination works for weight loss is not entirely understood, even by experts. The bupropion helps lessen appetite, says William Troy Donahoo, MD, an endocrinologist and weight loss specialist at Kaiser Permanente, Denver. The naltrexone, he says, probably works by blocking certain receptors in the brain and curbing cravings.

Who is eligible to take it?

The drug, a daily pill, is approved for use in adults with a body mass index or BMI of 30 (obese), or a BMI of 27 (overweight) with conditions that raise heart and stroke risks, such as high blood pressure, cholesterol, or type 2 diabetes.

A 5-foot-9-inch person who weighs 183 pounds has a BMI of 27. At 203 pounds, his or her BMI is 30.

The drug should not be given to anyone with a seizure disorder, pregnant women or those trying to get pregnant, or anyone with an eating disorder, among others, according to the FDA.

Is the new drug meant to be used in combination with diet and exercise?

Absolutely, doctors agree. “If you try to use it in isolation, that patient is not going to have success,” says Bipan Chand, MD. He’s the director of the Loyola University Medical Center’s Center for Metabolic Surgery and Bariatric Care.

The ideal patient, Chand says, is one who will look at their diet, make healthier choices, and get regular exercise, along with taking the medicine.

The drug will help with controlling how much someone eats, Foreyt agrees, ”but we still have to watch what we eat and exercise regularly.”

In clinical trials that included obese and overweight men and women, everyone received instructions on eating a reduced-calorie diet and getting regular exercise.

How much weight do people on this drug lose?

The amount varies, but on average, people lose 5% to 10% of their starting weight, according to clinical trials and experts.

In one 56-week study looking at Contrave combined with health habit changes, those on the drug lost more than 9% of their starting weight, while those on placebo lost just 5%.

So a 200-pound person losing 10% would end up at 180 pounds, perhaps moving from the obese to the overweight range, or the overweight to the healthy weight range.

In clinical trials that studied more than 4,500 people, the drug helped people keep off weight for up to a year, the length of the studies, according to Orexigen. On average, those who took Contrave for 6 months and combined it with a weight-management program lost 25 pounds, the company says in a statement. Those who were on placebo and the weight-management program averaged a 17-pound loss.

According to the FDA, people without diabetes who were in one of the clinical trials and took Contrave had an average weight loss, at the 1-year mark, of 4.1% over those who took the placebo pill.

In another study of those with type 2 diabetes, those on the drug lost 2% more than those on placebo.

In approving Contrave, the FDA says that those using it at the maintenance dose ”should be evaluated after 12 weeks to determine if the treatment is working.” If the weight loss at that point is not at least 5% of starting weight, the drug should be stopped, according to the FDA, as it is not likely to work adequately and long-term for the patient.

If the drug is working, the label has limit on how long it can be taken.

The results seen in studies of the drug aren’t always the same once the drug is on the market, Donahoo says. Once on the market, he says, the medicine may give better results than in clinical trials.

Part of the reason, he says, may be that doctors familiar with their patients can pick the weight loss drug they think may be most likely to work for a specific patient.

What are the side effects of the new drug?

In the clinical trials of Contrave, nausea was most common, reported by 34% of people, Foreyt says. Other complaints were headache, constipation, dizziness, vomiting, insomnia, dry mouth, and diarrhea, the FDA says.

The FDA rejected the request for approval of Contrave in 2011, requesting more information about the safety of the drug for the heart. In response, Orexigen launched the Contrave Light Study, including nearly 9,000 patients, to rule out excess heart and stroke risks in those taking the drug.

The interim results of the study, announced in late 2013, met the FDA goals, according to the company.

The FDA approval includes requirements for post-marketing research, including a heart outcomes trial to look at any heart and stroke risks. The company must also look at the potential for interactions between Contrave and other drugs, evaluate the best dose for patients with liver or kidney problems, look at the safety of the drug in children, and do other research.

How does Contrave compare to the other two recently approved weight-loss drugs?

No head-to-head comparison has been made of all three drugs — Contrave, Belviq and Qsymia — but experts can talk in general about how the drugs are alike and different.

“All affect one’s desire to eat,” Chand says of the three. In contrast, other weight loss drugs, such as orlistat (Alli, Xenical) work by reducing the digestion and absorption of fat in food.

“There is no way to predict who will respond and will not” to the various drugs, Chand says. “It is trial and error.”

What will Contrave cost?

Company spokespeople declined to estimate. But other experts expect it to be priced competitively with the other two prescription weight-loss drugs.

Both cost about $6 or $7 a day, or about $180 to $210 a month.

Insurance coverage for Qsymia and Belviq varies by plan.

Takeda, which will distribute Contrave, expects the drug to be available in the fall, says Denise Powell, a spokeswoman for Orexigen.

ANTIDEPRESSANT: Suicidal Mother Kills Two Toddlers After Release From Psych Ward

SONYA SPOON

Sonya Spoon, Kayla (3), & Ayden (1)

Medicated for postpartum depression? A single mother in Maryland, who was seriously suicidal, was admitted to a psych ward, released, and a week after being admitted she smothered her two toddlers.

Living with her parents, her mother called police last week to report her daughter was suicidal and wanted to kill her daughter. She was taken in for a psychiatric evaluation and killed her two small children a week later. It is important to point out that at age 3 she was adopted out of Russia where they too have been medicating children waiting for adoption. Ieef she had been given antidepressants or other serotonergic medications as a child and then had the drugs given to her again in her early 20’s the reaction to them is often far stronger – similar to breaking a bone once we know that it takes far less pressure to break that bone a second ,

This case has all the signs of this young mother being medicated even before she was admitted to a psychiatric hospital the week before this, but then someone is admitted to a psychiatric hospital just before this is when the medications are changed around to “find the right drug for you.” FDA warnings on abrupt changes in dose of an antidepressant include suicide, hostility and psychosis. In switching medications doctors generally drop patients right off the antidepressant they are on or rapidly discontinue the drug so that yet another can be added – two abrupt changes in dose in a row.

Switching medications for any reason is one of the most dangerous things any patient can do. I am especially concerned about those being advised to do this in order to withdraw from an antidepressant. It is a very dangerous and damaging practice! It can really set a patient back who is facing withdrawal because in my many years of experience of working with those going through antidepressant withdrawal it is my opinion that it is far safer and far easier to withdraw from the antidepressant your brain and body has already become accustomed to.

For information on what happened from there her is a short piece from the news report below:

“Without getting into too many particulars, there were bags that were placed over the children’s heads,” said. Maj. Pacheco. And tied with duct tape, according to court documents. The documents also say Spoon woke up her mother at around 2:15 a.m. Sunday and told her she had just killed her two children. The grandmother went downstairs, pulled the bags and the duct tape from the children, tried performing CPR on both of them, called paramedics and were rushed to the hospital where they both were pronounced dead.

“Police say the two children had different fathers. In her social media bio, Spoon says she was born in Russia and adopted at age three. She has an associate’s degree in early childhood education. And in a dated photo that was posted, she had a little girl who was “her world.” –
