MEDICATION: Utah State Prison – Second Suicide in a Week

Utah Prison

UTAH STATE PRISON – SECOND SUICIDE THIS WEEK

This is an atrocity that needs to end!!! The mass drugging in prisons is as out of control as the mass drugging of foster children! Do prisons get kick backs from drug companies too? It sure appears that way. And to make matters worse a huge percentage of our prison population are there because of reactions they have had to these antidepressants.

Dr. Arthur Egelman is a psychiatrist I mentioned in my book as the FDA overseer of the first MAOI Parnate, who left the FDA when they took that drug off the market and then put it back out with many new warnings added to the drug. He stated that no matter how many warnings were being issued patients would die from the side effects and he wanted no part of that. About a decade ago I spoke with Dr. Egelman who wanted to go public about this mass drugging of prisoners. He was upset that he would work so hard to wean prisoners off antidepressants who clearly did not need to be on the drugs and the prison would put them right back on the drugs. He was extremely upset by this!

But when we have children reacting to these medications who are being incarcerated for crimes they are not responsible for due to involuntary intoxication…and then rather than acknowledge the reactions and weaning them off the offending medications they are being moved from mental hospitals to prisons?!!! This is SO wrong! I do hope that this family does something about what has happened to their son, brother, loved one! Read below to see the story with a link to the original article:

NO DIFFERENT THAN DACHAU!!!

Ryan Allison, 22, “was alone in a camera-equipped cell at the Olympus facility, which houses inmates who are mentally ill.

“Though initially sentenced to the Utah State Hospital for treatment, prison officials said Allison’s “disruptive behavior there” [drug-induced disruptive behavior] led him to the prison.

“Officers were preparing to enter the cell after seeing Ryan P. Allison, 22, repeatedly bang his head on the concrete floor at about 7:30 a.m. Allison then dove head first from the sink onto the floor and could not be revived, according to prison officials.”

This young man would have double the chance of suicidal reactions to an antidepressant according to FDA warnings. The behavior described just before his death is a medication reaction called akathisia, a very agitated state. Akathisia is a Greek term meaning “can’t sit still” …. basically adrenalin in overdrive.

And remember that this is the second suicide at this prison, both obviously involving medication, in a week!!!!!!

ANTIDEPRESSANTS: SUICIDE HITS A 25 YEAR ALL TIME HIGH

suicide-21585990

SUICIDE DEATHS HIT A 25 YEAR ALL TIME HIGH

Now I don’t know why on earth the suicide rate would be at an all time high over the past 25 years when some of the most popular prescription drugs on the market have a Black Box Warning for suicide, do you?! Give me a break!!!!

I and our group, the International Coalition for Drug Awareness, have been tracking the cases for 25 years and building a database of the suicides (www.ssristories.NET) and it is so common to have an antidepressant behind these completely out of character suicides that coroners have been noticing it for two decades…LONG before the FDA Black Box Warning was put into place to the point of even asking when they walk into an autopsy, “So have you found the antidepressant yet?”! So NOW the CDC is finally letting us know that suicide is at a 25 year high? Just as with the FDA their warnings seem to always come way too late!

But the FDA issued the Black Box Warning for suicide with antidepressants in 2005 so why is it that so few become aware of the warning for suicide in association with antidepressant use until after their loved one has taken their own life and perhaps someone else’s life as well? It is because they are not being given that warning by their doctors as mandated by law! Perhaps someone might want to look at that problem along with the fact the warning was only given for those 25 and under when the drugs clearly don’t care what age you happen to be when they produce the toxic reaction linked to overwhelming compulsions to kill yourself.

So why this revelation from the CDC now? Is it just a push for even more of those who are feeling down and out to take these drugs with the misnomer “antidepressant” attached to them even though these drugs have listed side effects of depression, anxiety, psychosis and suicide? Can someone please explain to me why that would “help” anyone get over depression?!

Just how much longer do we as a society tolerate having prescription drugs on the market with warnings they could produce both suicide and homicide as a side effect?! The Germans missed seeing the Holocaust happening right under their noses no different than we are missing this current medication-induced holocaust happening right under our noses! Wake up America!

ANTIDEPRESSANTS??? Doctor Kills Wife & Self Hours After Wedding

Dr Scott Samson, Kelly Ecker

Dr. Scott Samson & his wife Kelly Ecker

Lillyland, USA still referred to as Indiana. even though Eli Lilly has such control over the state, was the scene of this tragedy Saturday night. After tracking antidepressant-induced murder/suicides for 25 years I will tell you that you can count on this being one. There are FAR TOO MANY clues pointing to an antidepressant in this case, but chances are high that you will never learn what he was on because he was a doctor with easy access to meds and because of who controls the state of Indiana.

The clues????

#1 Doctors and nurses lead the way in these tragedies as far as one single group goes. Even the doctor from my hometown who helped me to adopt my daughter died this way after killing his wife on Eli Lilly’s Prozac in 1993.

#2 This case happened in Lillyland, even though it is still called Indiana.

#3 Nurses in that area have reported to me for years that drug reps are telling the doctors that they are in a very stressful profession and depression is sure to hit them sooner or later so because of that they should get started on antidepressants immediately. They estimated percentage was about 75%.

#4 As the toxic effects set in you will find arsenals accumulated along with the ammo, due to both the paranoia the drugs induce along with the homicidal ideation produced by the drugs.

#5 The doctor apparently had no qualms about killing in front of family, including a small child.

#6 Seems after drinking alcohol in celebration – NOT a good idea when on an antidepressant!!! even though the drugs themselves cause overwhelming cravings for alcohol – he began to suffer possible paranoia about her getting her hands on his money. Surely this had been discussed and settled before the wedding.

Our director for the International Coalition for Drug Awareness in Indiana works as an EMT there and has reported that all the calls they go out on involving suicide includes the use of an antidepressant.

Another issue this brings up though as you listen to the 911 calls and hear the responses from the dispatch is the high rate of dispatchers on antidepressants as well. Seems this dispatcher did not wake up to the dire emergency this was even after hearing the volley of gunshots that took the new wife’s life.

Thank You FDA for Yet ANOTHER Deadly Diet Drug!!!!!!

WELLBUTRIN

CONTRAVE (WELLBUTRIN) FOR WEIGHT LOSS?

As if the ravages of the serotonergic diet drugs Phen Fen and Redux in the mid 90’s did not generate enough pain and suffering, the FDA next approved a drug almost identical to Redux that had just been pulled from the market for the heart damage, but more for the brain damage it caused. The new drug Merida was finally pulled from the market in 2010 I believe. And since then the FDA has “blessed” us with three new diet drugs since 2012. Qsymia (phentermine and topiramate) and Belviq (lorcaserin) were both approved that year and both of them are serotonergic drugs with similar side effect profile of the SSRI antidepressants including Serotonin Syndrome and suicide. Then the latest weight loss drug was approved on September 10, 2014.

The brand name of the new drug is Contrave. But it is not actually a new drug, as most are not any more, but it is a combination of two presently approved drugs, the antidepressant Wellbutrin and Naltrexone, an anti-addiction drug.

With this drug those in the clinical trials lost an amazing 2% – 4% more than those on placebo! Over a six month period they lost 25 pounds.

Wow! Now doesn’t that sound effective?! Sure makes me want to try it! How about you? Funny that going to a raw Vegan diet and being out on a farm this summer I lost 15 pounds in four months this summer. No wonder we find the following statement in the following article about the new “diet drug”….

A most classic statement: “Is the new drug meant to be used in combination with diet and exercise? …. Absolutely, doctors agree. “If you try to use it in isolation, that patient is not going to have success,” says Bipan Chand, MD.”

So there is no cutting corners with the drug, you cannot just take the drug and lose weight. You have to do diet and exercise with it for it to work. So … what really produces the weight loss? Obviously it is the diet and exercise!

Somehow I have trouble believing there is much of anything this drug does to help. Certainly seems that it would not be worth taking the chance with Wellbutrin as part of the combination that makes up this drug. Wellbutrin is the antidepressant that Donna Fairchild, the City Counselwoman who was running for Mayor in Mesquite, NV, took a couple of years ago as a stop smoking aid. Then in abrupt withdrawal from the drug she shot her husband and herself. Donna and her husband were both retired Denver police officers.

For many other similar examples of what can happen on Wellbutrin I would suggest you go to our database of cases at www.ssristories.net and click on the option of which drug the person was on and read all of the Wellbutrin cases there. That will give you some idea of whether you think a 2% to 4% weight loss is worth taking such a chance. Since I got straight A’s in math, you will certainly not see me standing in line for a prescription for this drug! (Or any other, for that matter with all I know now about Pharma and their practices!)

And just for fun I suggest you go to http://www.belviq.com/ and read the Important Safety Information on Belviq. I assure you it will surprise you what all you are going to find there. Clearly none of these drugs can be taken safely with an antidepressant which causes the weight gain for which you might consider a weight loss medication!

Sept. 11, 2014 — The FDA’s approval on Wednesday of a new prescription weight-loss pill offers yet another option for the more than one-third of American adults who are obese. Called Contrave, the new drug is the third prescription weight-loss drug to be approved by the FDA since 2012. It’s also approved for those not obese but overweight with risk factors such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes.

Contrave joins Qsymia (phentermine and topiramate) and Belviq (lorcaserin). Both were approved in 2012.

Contrave combines two drugs already on the market: bupropion (Wellbutrin), an antidepressant, and naltrexone, an anti-addiction drug. Because it contains bupropion, the new drug will have a boxed warning to alert doctors and patients to the increased risk of suicidal thoughts that are linked with antidepressants.

Weight loss experts say all three drugs work in similar ways, but they welcome Contrave as yet another option, especially since not all weight loss drugs work the same for everyone.

The FDA approval came after the agency looked at new information it requested from the drug’s maker in 2011 to be sure the drug was safe for the heart. Even so, the approval came with a requirement to do another study about the drug’s effect on the heart.

Here’s what else to know about the new drug.

How does Contrave work?

”It takes away hunger and the cravings for food,” says John Foreyt, PhD, professor of medicine and director of the Behavioral Medicine Research Center at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. He was a researcher on a clinical trial studying Contrave. He does not have financial ties to Orexigen, the drug’s maker, or to Takeda Pharmaceuticals, which plans to market the new drug.

How the combination works for weight loss is not entirely understood, even by experts. The bupropion helps lessen appetite, says William Troy Donahoo, MD, an endocrinologist and weight loss specialist at Kaiser Permanente, Denver. The naltrexone, he says, probably works by blocking certain receptors in the brain and curbing cravings.

Who is eligible to take it?

The drug, a daily pill, is approved for use in adults with a body mass index or BMI of 30 (obese), or a BMI of 27 (overweight) with conditions that raise heart and stroke risks, such as high blood pressure, cholesterol, or type 2 diabetes.

A 5-foot-9-inch person who weighs 183 pounds has a BMI of 27. At 203 pounds, his or her BMI is 30.

The drug should not be given to anyone with a seizure disorder, pregnant women or those trying to get pregnant, or anyone with an eating disorder, among others, according to the FDA.

Is the new drug meant to be used in combination with diet and exercise?

Absolutely, doctors agree. “If you try to use it in isolation, that patient is not going to have success,” says Bipan Chand, MD. He’s the director of the Loyola University Medical Center’s Center for Metabolic Surgery and Bariatric Care.

The ideal patient, Chand says, is one who will look at their diet, make healthier choices, and get regular exercise, along with taking the medicine.

The drug will help with controlling how much someone eats, Foreyt agrees, ”but we still have to watch what we eat and exercise regularly.”

In clinical trials that included obese and overweight men and women, everyone received instructions on eating a reduced-calorie diet and getting regular exercise.

How much weight do people on this drug lose?

The amount varies, but on average, people lose 5% to 10% of their starting weight, according to clinical trials and experts.

In one 56-week study looking at Contrave combined with health habit changes, those on the drug lost more than 9% of their starting weight, while those on placebo lost just 5%.

So a 200-pound person losing 10% would end up at 180 pounds, perhaps moving from the obese to the overweight range, or the overweight to the healthy weight range.

In clinical trials that studied more than 4,500 people, the drug helped people keep off weight for up to a year, the length of the studies, according to Orexigen. On average, those who took Contrave for 6 months and combined it with a weight-management program lost 25 pounds, the company says in a statement. Those who were on placebo and the weight-management program averaged a 17-pound loss.

According to the FDA, people without diabetes who were in one of the clinical trials and took Contrave had an average weight loss, at the 1-year mark, of 4.1% over those who took the placebo pill.

In another study of those with type 2 diabetes, those on the drug lost 2% more than those on placebo.

In approving Contrave, the FDA says that those using it at the maintenance dose ”should be evaluated after 12 weeks to determine if the treatment is working.” If the weight loss at that point is not at least 5% of starting weight, the drug should be stopped, according to the FDA, as it is not likely to work adequately and long-term for the patient.

If the drug is working, the label has limit on how long it can be taken.

The results seen in studies of the drug aren’t always the same once the drug is on the market, Donahoo says. Once on the market, he says, the medicine may give better results than in clinical trials.

Part of the reason, he says, may be that doctors familiar with their patients can pick the weight loss drug they think may be most likely to work for a specific patient.

What are the side effects of the new drug?

In the clinical trials of Contrave, nausea was most common, reported by 34% of people, Foreyt says. Other complaints were headache, constipation, dizziness, vomiting, insomnia, dry mouth, and diarrhea, the FDA says.

The FDA rejected the request for approval of Contrave in 2011, requesting more information about the safety of the drug for the heart. In response, Orexigen launched the Contrave Light Study, including nearly 9,000 patients, to rule out excess heart and stroke risks in those taking the drug.

The interim results of the study, announced in late 2013, met the FDA goals, according to the company.

The FDA approval includes requirements for post-marketing research, including a heart outcomes trial to look at any heart and stroke risks. The company must also look at the potential for interactions between Contrave and other drugs, evaluate the best dose for patients with liver or kidney problems, look at the safety of the drug in children, and do other research.

How does Contrave compare to the other two recently approved weight-loss drugs?

No head-to-head comparison has been made of all three drugs — Contrave, Belviq and Qsymia — but experts can talk in general about how the drugs are alike and different.

“All affect one’s desire to eat,” Chand says of the three. In contrast, other weight loss drugs, such as orlistat (Alli, Xenical) work by reducing the digestion and absorption of fat in food.

“There is no way to predict who will respond and will not” to the various drugs, Chand says. “It is trial and error.”

What will Contrave cost?

Company spokespeople declined to estimate. But other experts expect it to be priced competitively with the other two prescription weight-loss drugs.

Both cost about $6 or $7 a day, or about $180 to $210 a month.

Insurance coverage for Qsymia and Belviq varies by plan.

Takeda, which will distribute Contrave, expects the drug to be available in the fall, says Denise Powell, a spokeswoman for Orexigen.

PROZAC: The Tragic Loss of Del Shannon in 1990

Del Shannon

DEL SHANNON/CHARLES WESTOVER

I felt someone tap me on the shoulder tonight asking “Remember me?”

My answer? “I certainly do Del!”

Del singing his hit Runaway on Letterman:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSkV9pdzLgo

Here is my message tonight to Del:

“Still miss you Del….[please know that LeAnne did everything she could to make it known to the world what really happened to you and know that Eli Lilly’s Prozac will never get away with your death! They have killed so many more since they killed you with Prozac. And by hiding your death and so many others they paved the way for all the other SSRI and SNRI antidepressants! Here is a long list of just a few thousand of those tragic and generally very violent deaths produced by these drugs: www.ssristories.NET

“Prozac, Only a Mineral You Are Missing in Your Brain” ???!!!

“I still cannot believe your doctor lied to you in order to get you to take Prozac since you were so opposed to chemicals after overcoming alcoholism. You tried to tell him no! How he could lie so boldly telling you it was just a mineral you were missing in your brain! Less than three weeks later you were dead just as your career was taking off again like crazy!

Key Doctors Speak Out For Truth

“You will be glad to know that the doctor who discovered the receptor binding process, which made this new class of antidepressants possible came out against these drugs in TIME Magazine, in 1997, calling them “monsters” which she wished she had never had anything to do with contributing to their development …. but no one listened.

“Then just a few years ago the doctor who bought the approval for Prozac with a lousy $30,000 bribe began telling the world about the criminal acts that got all these antidepressants on the market … too late to save your life and too many others. Here is a radio show I did with him admitting all this if you want to hear his admission:

“Don’t worry Del….you are not forgotten and neither is Eli Lilly for what they did to you and to oh so many others since then. The world WILL know you were murdered by their deadly drug Del! I promise you!”

Tragically Still No Warning for Those Dealing With Substance Abuse

Although there is every reason to issue strong warnings that antidepressants should never be used by those like you who have suffered alcoholism or substance abuse of any kind that warning remains unheard. From the beginning the antidepressants produced overwhelming compulsions for alcohol, even in those who had never touched alcohol before. (See more information here: http://www.drugawareness.org/ssris-and-alcohol/ )

Those compulsions for alcohol were in fact the first thing that drew my attention to Prozac. And we now have studies showing that antidepressants produce an increase in drinking in 45% of those who had problems with alcohol before. This should demonstrate the necessity for antidepressants to be contraindicated for those suffering from this. Instead these drugs seem to be the drugs of choice for those in rehab as a treatment for alcoholism or substance abuse! How absurd!!!!

Initial News Reports of Del’s Death

News announcing Del’s death including an interview with his wife, my dear friend, Leanne, who I have missed since we lost contact after what was clear to me was a hallmark gag order on Del’s wrongful death suit put into place after a settlement: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2okmhFOQZQ

Clearly LeAnne was the only one interviewed here who understood what had happened to Del and that this was not a “choice” he made in taking his own life. Few knew what a health nut Del had become and how spiritual a person he was and how much he loved Leanne and would never have “chosen” to leave her and his family.

Thankfully in Contact Again!

I am very happy to report that since this blog post first came out the end of September 2014 Del’s widow and my dear friend, LeAnne Westover, and I are once again in contact with  one another after she sent me the following very sweet note on my  Ann Blake Tracy, Author page on Facebook….

Dear Ann,
With all my heart I thank God for you,
you are not forgotten my friend.
LeAnne

YES!!!! It is so wonderful to find old friends! LeAnne is such a sweetheart and I hope and pray she, as SO MANY others are having to do, can make it through another of these painful anniversaries for the loss of her beloved husband while feeling Del/Charles near her, comforting her ….

ANTIDEPRESSANT: GA – Veteran Shoots Self in Front of Wife

Donovan Hernandez

Donovan and Chloe Hernandez

“That entire day he was acting strange,” Crystal said. “He was cleaning his guns, he was crying a lot. He was diagnosed with depression and he was sad often times. I didn’t know he was thinking about ending his own life.”

Crystal’s husband, 43-year-old Donovan Hernandez, served 21 years in the Army. He spent his last 16 years at Fort Benning, and Crystal said Donovan took his own life before her very eyes on July 12, 2014 around 10:30 p.m.

Thanks to Pamela Cole for alerting us to this case. Pam lost her own father to Prozac and accompanied us to the 2004 hearings on antidepressants and suicide.

See the full story on Donovan Hernandez in the link below, but I have never seen a case involving shooting ones self in front of the family if it did not involve an antidepressant. It reminds me of Gary and Maria, both pharmacists in Florida. Both on Prozac Maria first attempted suicide on the drug, survived, got off and continued to warn Gary he needed to get off it. He assured her he was fine until he walked in the TV room and while the family was watching shot himself in front of them. Maria took Prozac off the shelves of their pharmacy declaring it was NOT a medication, but a deadly drug. We met as we both testified at the 1991 FDA hearing on Prozac and suicide.

ANTIDEPRESSANT: Suicidal Mother Kills Two Toddlers After Release From Psych Ward

SONYA SPOON

Sonya Spoon, Kayla (3), & Ayden (1)

Medicated for postpartum depression? A single mother in Maryland, who was seriously suicidal, was admitted to a psych ward, released, and a week after being admitted she smothered her two toddlers.

Living with her parents, her mother called police last week to report her daughter was suicidal and wanted to kill her daughter. She was taken in for a psychiatric evaluation and killed her two small children a week later. It is important to point out that at age 3 she was adopted out of Russia where they too have been medicating children waiting for adoption. Ieef she had been given antidepressants or other serotonergic medications as a child and then had the drugs given to her again in her early 20’s the reaction to them is often far stronger – similar to breaking a bone once we know that it takes far less pressure to break that bone a second ,

This case has all the signs of this young mother being medicated even before she was admitted to a psychiatric hospital the week before this, but then someone is admitted to a psychiatric hospital just before this is when the medications are changed around to “find the right drug for you.” FDA warnings on abrupt changes in dose of an antidepressant include suicide, hostility and psychosis. In switching medications doctors generally drop patients right off the antidepressant they are on or rapidly discontinue the drug so that yet another can be added – two abrupt changes in dose in a row.

Switching medications for any reason is one of the most dangerous things any patient can do. I am especially concerned about those being advised to do this in order to withdraw from an antidepressant. It is a very dangerous and damaging practice! It can really set a patient back who is facing withdrawal because in my many years of experience of working with those going through antidepressant withdrawal it is my opinion that it is far safer and far easier to withdraw from the antidepressant your brain and body has already become accustomed to.

For information on what happened from there her is a short piece from the news report below:

“Without getting into too many particulars, there were bags that were placed over the children’s heads,” said. Maj. Pacheco. And tied with duct tape, according to court documents. The documents also say Spoon woke up her mother at around 2:15 a.m. Sunday and told her she had just killed her two children. The grandmother went downstairs, pulled the bags and the duct tape from the children, tried performing CPR on both of them, called paramedics and were rushed to the hospital where they both were pronounced dead.

“Police say the two children had different fathers. In her social media bio, Spoon says she was born in Russia and adopted at age three. She has an associate’s degree in early childhood education. And in a dated photo that was posted, she had a little girl who was “her world.” –

SSRI TRAMADOL & KLONOPIN: Driver With Double the Legal Limit Kills Two Girls

Joshua Malmgren

Joshua Malmgren, 33

There are several SSRI and SNRI antidepressants given for different indications that stay under the radar because few know they are antidepressants. One of those is Tramadol, generally given as a pain killer. This is what Brynn Hartman, comedian Phil Hartman’s wife was on along with Zoloft, when she shot Phil and herself. When two or more serotonergic meds are given together you can greatly increase the serious interactions due to the synergistic effects. So just because you know the names of the popular antidepressants on the market, do not feel so safe not being more aware of the others that few are aware of. Educate yourselves!

We have long discussed the cravings for alcohol produced by antidepressant meds. It is such a strong craving that it causes even those who have never touched alcohol before to crave alcohol. So when you see cases like this with two to three times the legal limit of alcohol ALWAYS suspect that an antidepressant may be behind the scenes and start asking questions.

In this case the cravings for alcohol (something we know Klonopin causes as well) led to more serious interactions between medications resulting in the behavior that took the lives to two young girls, cousins Nioami Lazicki, 15, Ashley Dauber, 13. Tragically there was another girl, Nioami’s younger sister, with them who saw the car at the last minute and jumped to safety. Not sure you can call it “safety” she jumped to though when you know they will more than likely give her an antidepressant to “cope” with the deaths of her sister and cousin. And that could lead to her death as well or the destruction of her life via the horrible side effects.

ANTIDEPRESSANTS – How We Are All Adversely Affected

me in front of hearse

AUGUST 22, MY MOTHER’S BURIAL

I am going to share a couple of experiences in my life today to help you to see how incredibly widespread the nightmare of these antidepressants really is.

This is a picture of me walking past the hearse today to dedicate my mother’s grave as her final resting place. The look on my face is not from anything to do with burying my mother, instead it is shock from seeing the grave next to the hearse just a few graves away from my parent’s graves.

Let me explain why…

The name on the grave with a picture on the headstone was William Farar and this was the first time I had ever seen a picture of Bill. Several of his family are friends of mine here on Facebook because Bill Farar was one of the first of many SSRI-induced suicides in my hometown. I worked with his family to help them to understand that what had taken his life was NOT suicide, but instead a reaction to his antidepressant.

I had also just spoken at my mother’s funeral where each of us children shared the most important things about our mother. Other than her incredible example of caring for all people was that while on a college tour of Mexico she had recruited Dr. Larry Porter, originally from northern Mexico, to help translate for her as they went to visit my infant son who was waiting with a family there for us to finish his adoption. Dr. Porter became convinced that Mexico would never allow my son to leave the country so he began to look at other options unbeknownst to me.

A month or two later he contracted pneumonia and was hospitalized when a 15 year old girl walked into the hospital in labor and said she wanted to give her child up for adoption.. Dr. Porter’s daughter was a nurse there and immediately ran to tell her father about the baby. Dr. Porter got out of his hospital bed and ran to the front of the hospital to say he knew a couple who desperately wanted a baby and would adopt the child.

Because my mother did not want me to go through the pain and anguish once again of getting my hopes up for a baby and then not being able to complete the adoption, she brought the baby home and kept her for the three day waiting period Arizona has for a legal release for adoption. She then called me to have me guess what she had waiting for me in my little brother’s room! I flew down to bring my new baby daughter home and three weeks later Senator Jake Garn was able to assist us with finalization of my son’s adoption. So within three weeks I had two babies a year and a half apart! Yikes!

That was in 1980. Fast forward another 13 years and Dr. Larry Porter had moved to Provo, Utah where he had established his practice. One day I got a call from one of his patients wanting help. He said he thought he was having serious adverse reactions to Prozac because as a guard at the prison he was not only having thoughts, but actually making plans to kill everyone on death row. He found these thoughts and plans alarming enough to ask for help because he thought those thoughts were coming from his Prozac. So I helped him as he weaned of Prozac and the thoughts and plans disappeared along with his Prozac.

But what had made him realize it was Prozac causing this was his own doctor, who had told him he too was on Prozac. Yet his doctor had just shot his wife and and himself in a murder/suicide. That doctor was Dr. Larry Porter who had helped me to adopt my daughter! This was COMPLETELY out of character for Dr. Porter! His patient knew it, I knew it, and Dr. Porter’s family knew it. They believed someone must have come into the home and murdered both of them. But the police investigation concluded that it was a murder/suicide. I was then able to work with Dr. Porter’s son to help the family understand how this could have happened.

So I share this with you to let you know that even in laying my mother to rest I am surrounded by SSRI nightmares as all of us are if we but look. I am aware of this only because I see these nightmares where others remain blind to them. I encourage you all to look around you and become aware of what is happening in your own circle of family, friends and neighbors.

Robin Williams: What No One Is Willing to Talk About (But us!)

Robin Williams – What No One Is Willing to Talk About

This is an excellent video I would encourage everyone to watch! I am sorry I did not get it out days ago, but with the death of my own mother following Robin Williams death by only three days, I am a little behind schedule.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiUeOLfV5z8

The following is my posted comment on this video:

“Excellent presentation of the data! I say that after 25 years of specializing in antidepressant adverse reactions, testifying in court cases involving the drugs, writing a large text on these drugs, Prozac: Panacea or Pandora? – Our Serotonin Nightmare, and gathering approximately 5000 cases (including most all of the school shootings and mass shootings) documented as involving antidepressants found at www.ssristories.net

“The hypothesis behind these drugs is backwards. Serotonin is NOT low in depression, but elevated and I can prove that via expert witness testimony by drug company experts themselves. Antidepressants not only cause suicide, they cause murder as well and yes that is documented in court testimony as well (check Tobin vs Glaxo Smith Kline). They often produce this by triggering REM Sleep Disorder (RBD), where you act out nightmares and well known for the potential to produce both murder and suicide. Shockingly 86% of those being diagnosed with this disorder are currently on an antidepressant. Since RBD was known in the past as mainly a drug withdrawal state we should have far stronger warnings about antidepressant withdrawal! Thank you for this!

“And as for why no one wants to talk about this….when I did the Leeza Gibbons Show in 1999, just two years after drug companies were allowed to begin advertising their prescription drugs, they made that answer very clear. As we stepped on the stage to discuss the alarming number of mothers killing their children while on antidepressants we were told we could use the word “antidepressant” but we could not use the brand names of the drugs “because of our advertisers.” If the advertisers are the ones deciding what you can and cannot hear and the main advertisers are drug companies do you really think you will hear this on mainstream media?”
