RISPRDAL & ANTIDEPRESSANT? Mother Decapitates Three Month Old Daughter

Deasia Watkins

Deasia Watkins, 20

When SSRI antidepressants gained popularity in the early 90’s we began to witness something rarely, if ever, seen before – mothers taking the lives of their children. I began gathering those cases and investigating them finding that nearly every case involved the mother’s use of an antidepressant. In 1999 I did the Leeza Gibbons Show on mothers on antidepressants killing their children. We now have a searchable database of these cases documenting the antidepressant involved in each case posted, along with school shootings and mass murders and murder/suicides, at www.ssristories.NET

In this case the mother reportedly suffers from postpartum psychosis now but all anyone seemed to be talking about in the press conference with the prosecutor and coroner was postpartum depression. My concern is that she was given an antidepressant for postpartum depression that CAUSED the psychosis. At that point what is generally done by doctors is that they then abruptly discontinue the antidepressant when patients began to have this reaction [I might add here that they do that even though the FDA has warned that ANY abrupt change in dose of an antidepressant, whether increasing or decreasing the dose, can cause suicide, hostility or psychosis.] and give them a drug like Risperdal in an attempt to stop the psychosis. That only makes the reaction worse since both of these drugs increase serotonin levels. And this is what we know about serotonin and violence: The Key to Human Violence is an Excess of Serotonin – http://www.drugawareness.org/mutant-mice-key-to-human-violence-an-excess-serotonin/

ANTIDEPRESSANT & WINE: Mother Slits Throats of Toddler & Infant Twins

Christina E

Christina E. Booth, 29

Mother being treated for Post Partum depression cuts children’s throats …. so they will not disturb her military husband.

From the original article we read: “Thomas Booth told police his wife had been “very stressed out” raising the children and was on medication for post-partum depression, according to court papers. He said he and his wife had watched a movie at home Saturday night and each had two large glasses of wine. He described his wife as sufficiently intoxicated that she was slurring her words.’

Impairing one’s ability to metabolize serotonin (serotonin reuptake) has been known for decades to produce impulsive murder or suicideSerotonin Syndrome also produces the appearance of a drunken state including slurring, vomiting, and very confused states.Mixing alcohol with an antidepressant can produce a psychotic break as well. Yet antidepressants produce cravings for alcohol. And I will take bets none of these drug makers have ever bothered to test their medications on Native Americans as it appears this young mother is. Various races have various tollerence levels for different antidepressants. This is especially so among races that have blood sugar issues as the Native Americans do with a high rate of alcoholism (hypoglycemia) and diabetes.

And for all of you younger readers allow me to point out that until these SSRI antidepressants hit the market hearing of mothers killing their children or attempting to do so was such an extreme rarity that everyone was completely shocked to hear of one of these cases. Does that element of shock toward this type of crime even exisit for any of you any longer? This is your new world via Pharma. What a shame!

Stop Eli Lilly from Suing Canada for Half a Billion for Reduced Profits!!!!!

pillsindollarsign.jpgPlease go here to sign a petition

http://action.sumofus.org/a/eli-lilly/

in order to stop this suit by Eli Lilly the makers of three SSRI and SNRI antidepressants: Prozac, Stratera, and Cymbalta and the makers of LSD among other deadly drugs! We should be suing them for the extensive loss of life and production due to that loss of life plus the extensive damage to society as a whole.

Apparently their premeditated murder (I say premeditated because we have evidence that they clearly KNEW their drugs would cause all of this BEFORE they marketed any of them) which they get us to believe is really suicide when it is clearly medication-induced suicide and medication-induced murder, birth defects, Bipolar, divorce, rape, Autism, school shootings, workplace violence, diabetes, liver failure, compulsions for alcohol, road rage, false accusations of abuse, etc., etc., etc. is not enough havoc in our lives for these people. Now they want Canadian tax payer’s money as well because they did not get paid enough to murder their citizens there with their deadly drugs?!

Obviously this will be just a beginning of many more similar suits by other pharma corps….how much more will people take before they wake up to the fact that the Mafia was NOTHING in comparison to these drug lords we refer to a Pharma?

DO NOT SUFFER PANIC ATTACKS IF YOU WANT YOUR CHILDREN!!!

pregnant woman

Thanks to Daniel Duke for bringing our attention to this case out of England along with the reminder that this is what we will have to look forward to with Obamacare! Sadly this was a mother trying to protect her baby by coming off medications known to produce death and serious birth defects while a government stepped in to forcibly put her back on the drugs thus exposing her child to even more damage. Then they forced the baby from her body and stole her child after doing that. Now they will force the public to pay for the damage they forced upon the child via those drugs which we know can affect the child the rest of its life both physically and mentally, not to mention all the emotions of going through such an ordeal!

An Italian woman, apparently attempting to withdraw from her antidepressant and other medications for Bipolar Disorder during her pregnancy – which withdrawal, especially if abrupt, regularly causes panic attacks, indeed did suffer a panic attack while visiting in England to attend a class. She called police (which appears to be a very dangerous thing to do any longer for any reason!). They took her to a hospital, she thought. She quickly learned it was instead a psychiatric facility.

Then the Child and Family services got a court order to take her child – yes the child still in the womb. So four weeks later she was sedated and the baby forcibly taken by Cesarean Section!!!!!!! Then the child was placed for adoption because they were not sure she would not have additional problems in the future!!!!

Now remember she was an Italian citizen, and was only visiting in England at the time this happened to her! She has now hired an attorney to fight for the child that was literally forcibly taken from her womb. Where on earth have any semblance of human rights gone?!!!!!

According the original article:

“She suffered a panic attack, which her relations believe was due to her failure to take regular medication for an existing bipolar condition….She called the police, who became concerned for her well-being and took her to a hospital, which she then realized was a psychiatric facility.

“She has told her lawyers that when she said she wanted to return to her hotel, she was restrained and sectioned under the Mental Health Act.

“Meanwhile, Essex social services obtained a High Court order in August 2012 for the birth “to be enforced by way of caesarean section”, according to legal documents seen by this newspaper.

“The woman, who says she was kept in the dark about the proceedings, says that after five weeks in the ward she was forcibly sedated. When she woke up she was told that the child had been delivered by C-section and taken into care.
In February, the mother, who had gone back to Italy, returned to Britain to request the return of her daughter at a hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court.
Her lawyers say that she had since resumed taking her medication, and that the judge formed a favorable opinion of her. But he ruled that the child should be placed for adoption because of the risk that she might suffer a relapse.”

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/10486452/Child-taken-from-womb-by-social-services.html

PLEASE keep in mind my previous posts about social service workers and the massive insanity so many of them suffer as a result of their widespread use of antidepressants! In 1992 we know that 60% of state employees were taking antidepressants! How high could it be now? And who monitors them when their medication-induced delusions affect the innocent people they have authority over? These social workers who are self proclaimed “nut cases,” once they have come off these drugs and come to their senses again, are causing sheer havoc in our society with no checks and balances!

And as one author puts it, this case is only one of thousands more!!!!! Read this eye-opening article “Child Taken From Womb by Social Services is Tip of Massive Iceberg  http://jolliffe.wordpress.com/2013/12/02/child-taken-from-womb-by-social-services-is-tip-of-massive-iceberg/

But this case may have gotten enough publicity to at least gain an appearance of justice as a judge demands a good reason for this and declares families should not be broken up.   “Explain why you snatched baby girl at birth: Judge’s order to social workers behind forced caesarean”

Antidepressants Linked to Postpartum Hemorrhage

mother & baby

ANTIDEPRESSANT USE LINKED TO POSTPARTUM HEMORRHAGE

How serious an issue is this? The conclusion of this study makes it quite clear: “In an accompanying editorial, Eibert Heerdink, PhD, associate professor of clinical pharmacoepidemiology at the Utrecht Institute for Pharmaceutical Science in the Netherlands, described the study as “especially well-designed” and echoed the investigators’ observation that although the absolute increase in risk is small, it is cause for concern.

“With reported incidences of 2.1 to 8% of all births, Dr. Heerdink notes that postpartum hemorrhage is not an uncommon complication of childbirth and is a leading cause of maternal mortality and morbidity.

“He points out that “even a modest increase of a relatively high baseline risk may have a considerable impact on public health. Pregnant women and their healthcare providers should be aware of the possible risk associate with the use of antidepressants shortly before delivery.”

The SSRI and SNRI antidepressants not only put babies at risk for serious and potentially fatal birth defects, but also endanger the mother’s life as well. Please take heed. Patients as well as physicians need to be warned. See the article below with links to the full study.

Antidepressant use by pregnant women around the time of delivery is linked to an increased risk for postpartum hemorrhage, new research shows.

A large study of pregnant women diagnosed with a mood or anxiety disorder and conducted by investigators at Harvard School of Public Health in Boston showed about a1.5-fold increased risk for postpartum hemorrhage associated with all classes of antidepressants and not just selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SRIs).

“Our study suggests that all classes of antidepressants are associated with an increased risk of abnormal bleeding,” the investigators write.

“This study is the first to report an association between exposure to antidepressants at the time of delivery and risk of postpartum hemorrhage in a US population and in a population with a diagnosis of depression,” they add.

With first author Kristin Palmsten, the study was published online August 21 in the BMJ.

A Leading Cause of Maternal Mortality, Morbidity

A leading cause of maternal mortality in the United States, postpartum hemorrhage is also a leading contributor of severe maternal morbidity, blood transfusion, and intensive care admissions.

Some studies have shown a link between bleeding risk — including gastrointestinal bleeding and perioperative bleeding — and antidepressants that inhibit serotonin reuptake.

However, to date, there have been 2 studies — one in Canada and the other in Sweden — that have examined the association between antidepressants and postpartum hemorrhage.

Although these studies raise concerns, the investigators note they had “limitations including potential confounding by mood disorders or factors associated with them, exposure windows that did not focus on delivery, and limited power to assess specific antidepressants.”

To assess the link between exposure to antidepressants at or around the time of delivery and postpartum hemorrhage, the researchers used nationwide Medicaid data.

The study included 106,000 pregnant women aged 12 to 55 years with a diagnosis of mood or anxiety disorder. Women were categorized into 4 exposure groups according to pharmacy dispensing data:

Current exposure: Women with a supply of antidepressants that overlapped with the delivery date

Recent exposure: Women with a supply of antidepressants on at least 1 day in the month before the delivery date but not on the delivery date

Past exposure: Women with a supply of antidepressants ending between 5 and 1 months before delivery

Unexposed: Women who had no supply of antidepressants in the 5 months before delivery, who served as the reference group

SRIs are believed to increase bleeding risk by depleting platelet serotonin. For the study, the investigators classified antidepressants with serotonin transporter Kd 0-9.9 nM as SRIs; those with Kd = 10 nM were classified as non-SRIs. The analysis included only women on antidepressant monotherapy.

The study’s main outcome measures included risk for postpartum hemorrhage by timing of exposure and by SRI or non-SRI, classes of antidepressant, and antidepressant types.

Be Aware of the Risk

The results revealed there were 12,710 women (12%) with current exposure to SRI monotherapy and 1495 women (1.4%) with current exposure to non-SRI monotherapy.

For women with mood/anxiety disorders but no exposure to antidepressants, the risk for postpartum hemorrhage was 2.8%; for current users of SRIs, 4.0%; for current users of non-SRIs, 3.8%; for past users of SRIs, 2.5%; and for past users of non-SRIs, 3.4%.

Compared with the reference group, women with current exposure to SRI monotherapy had a 1.47-fold (95% confidence interval [CI], 1.33 – 1.62) increased risk for postpartum hemorrhage. Current use of non-SRI monotherapy was associated with a 1.39-fold increased risk (95% CI, 1.07 – 1.81).

“In this population of pregnant women, use of serotonin or non-serotonin reuptake inhibitors at the time of delivery was associated with about a 1.4 to 1.5-fold increase in risk of postpartum hemorrhage and 1.0% to 1.3% excess risk,” the investigators write.

They add that any exposure to antidepressants in the month before delivery was associated with about a 1.2-fold increased risk for postpartum hemorrhage.

Further, exposure to SRIs 1 to 5 months before delivery was not associated with postpartum hemorrhage; exposure to non-SRIs during that timeframe was associated with a nearly significant increased risk.

The increased risk for postpartum depression associated with non-SRIs was surprising and requires further study, the researchers note.

“The absolute increase in risk associated with antidepressant exposure in the month before delivery is small, but women and their physicians should be aware of the potential risks when making treatment decisions near the end of pregnancy,” the investigators write.

Cause for Concern

In an accompanying editorial, Eibert Heerdink, PhD, associate professor of clinical pharmacoepidemiology at the Utrecht Institute for Pharmaceutical Science in the Netherlands, described the study as “especially well-designed” and echoed the investigators’ observation that although the absolute increase in risk is small, it is cause for concern.

With reported incidences of 2.1 to 8% of all births, Dr. Heerdink notes that postpartum hemorrhage is not an uncommon complication of childbirth and is a leading cause of maternal mortality and morbidity.

He points out that “even a modest increase of a relatively high baseline risk may have a considerable impact on public health. Pregnant women and their healthcare providers should be aware of the possible risk associate with the use of antidepressants shortly before delivery.”

The authors and Dr. Heerdink report no relevant financial relationships.

ANTIDEPRESSANTS??? JEFFERSON COUNTY MO MOM SHOOTS THREE DAUGHTERS & HERSELF

death-row-2[1]

Christina Marie Riggs, Justin & Shelby

The St Louis Missouri Case

Lisa Cochran killed her three daughters by shooting them all in the head with a shotgun she had recently purchased before she shot herself with the same gun. She had gone to her ex-husband’s home & did this in his driveway. She was described as “mentally unstable” & had made multiple suicide attempts previously. Considering that description I would be very surprised to learn that she was not on an antidepressant or in withdrawal from one – especially with the strong presence of Pfizer in the St. Louis area who has long been busy turning the Kansas/Missouri area – the “Land of OZ” into the “Land of ZO”.

From the article below we read: “If the deaths are ruled murder-suicide, this would be the third time this year a mother in the St. Louis area shot and killed her kids before shooting herself.”…”You hear about one or two cases in certain part of the country, but this is happening all within the St. Louis area,” Dr. John Rabun, a clinical instructor of psychiatry at Washington University, said. “It’s uncommon for it to be so close in time in a close locale… It’s an anomaly. It raises eyebrows.”

I would say it is about time it raised eyebrows!!! If it takes three of these in a row in one local area to raise eyebrows we are really in trouble!!!! My comment on the first article below is in response to an attorney who had made the following comment immediately below about this shooting. I felt he was doing a great job of voicing everyone’s thoughts nationwide on these senseless tragedies:

The Attorney: “What in the heck is wrong with people? What an utterly selfish act if this turns out to be a murder suicide. Why kill the children and deprive them of a life? I don’t know if it is drugs like meth or antidepressants or what but you rarely heard of this happening years ago. Today it seems more prevalent. Maybe it is the reporting of these stories but my god, it seems like people have just lost their ever loving minds. Shooting a one year old in the head with a shot gun and your own kids………who does that? You don’t want to live fine, go jump off a bridge, but why commit such a horrific act on defensless children? I do not begin to fathom that level of narcicism. So you think what you will be a good mom in heaven? My god some people have lost their way in this world.”… Attorney Michael Parnas

My comment: “The hang ’em high attitude does not stop these tragedies, but only prolongs this nightmare! (And that is coming from the great great grand daughter of the mayor Tombstone during the OK Coral Days!)

“After acting as an expert witness in these cases for over 20 years I can tell you that you are right, people have lost their minds on meds – antidepressants that work like a slow fuse LSD or PCP. These moms are going gradually insane. Antidepressants produce REM Sleep Behavior Disorder where these moms act out their worst nightmare. Andrea Yates was the third nurse in a row to go to court in a three month period for killing her children on these meds. While she was in court a female physician on the same antidepressant stabbed her two sons.

“One of the two antidepressants Andrea was on at maximum dose has both homicidal & suicidal ideation (compulsive thoughts) listed as potential side effects. The company added that warning after one of their own employees, whose job it was to take adverse reaction reports daily on that antidepressant, Effexor, was killed by her husband on Effexor who also killed her daughter, her parents, & himself. Google ssristories where you will find 1000s of similar cases worldwide.” …. Ann Blake-Tracy

The Christina Riggs Case

We hope soon to find a good enough copy of the Leeza Gibbons Show on the subject of mothers on antidepressants killing their children to post on our www.drugawareness.org site. I appeared as a guest expert on that show along with Robert Kirkwood who had just lost his wife & two small children in an Effexor-induced murder/suicide like this Missouri case above.

Also appearing on the show was defense attorney John Wesley Hall Jr. & Carol Thomas, respectively the attorney for & the mother of Christina Riggs. Christina also appeared on the show via satalite from prison – a mother on antidepressants who killed her two small children & attempted to kill herself. The state of Arkansas finished Christina’s failed murder/suicide attempt when they executed her not long after the show. Ironically they used the same chemical she had used in an attempt to kill herself after she killed her children. Her last words were: “Now I can be with my babies, as I always intended” … Christina Marie Riggs

There are FAR TOO MANY of these cases to reference anymore! This nightmare of mothers on these so called “medications” taking the lives of their children must end!

WITHDRAWAL HELP CD TESTIMONIALS:

“Ann, I just wanted to let you know from the bottom of my heart how grateful I am God placed you in my life. I am now down to less than 2 mg on my Cymbalta and I have never felt better. I am finally getting my life back. I can feel again and colors have never been brighter. Thanks for all that you do!!” … Amber Weber

“Used your method of weaning off of SSRI’s and applied it to Ambien. Took 6 months but had been on 15 mg for years so what was another 6 months. I have been sleeping without it for 2 weeks and it is the first time I have been able to sleep drug free for 15 years. What a relief to be able to lay down and sleep when I need or want to. Ambien may be necessary for people at times but doctors giving a months worth of it at a time with unlimited refills is a prescription for disaster. It is so damn easy to become dependent on. Thanks for your council Ann.”… Mark Hill

“I’m so thankful for Ann Blake-Tracy and all her work. Also for taking the time out to talk to me and educate everyone! She has been a blessing to me during this awful time of antidepressant hell!” … Antoinette Beck
