COLUMBINE & RED LAKE COME TOGETHER AT COLUMBINE
ANNIVERSARY
Donna Taylor: Mother of Mark Taylor, the first boy shot at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999 as Eric and Dylan, on their way into the school, shot at those gathered to discuss scriptures outside. Eric Harris shot Mark 6 – 13 times with 9mil bullets. Mark survived earning himself the title of “The Columbine Miracle Boy.”
Tammy Lussier: Daughter of Officer Daryl (Dash) Lussier of the Red Lake Police Department and aunt to Jeff Weise who shot and killed Tammy’s father, his own grandfather, and eight others before taking his own life with his grandfather’s police firearm.
Our Message: Here we are together at the 10th Anniversary of the tragedy at Columbine High School. So, why would a family member of a school shooting victim and a family member of a school shooter come together? We want the world to know that antidepressants cause violence with the most popular antidepressant on the market today listing “homicidal ideation” as a potential side effect.
Many shot at Columbine have learned to do is to forgive Eric Harris and Dylan Kleebold for doing what they did to them. We have just celebrated the glorious Easter season filled with the reassurance that through the mission of Jesus Christ we can overcome death and live again. As we remember Columbine we feel it is crucial to recall
that as Christ hung on the cross He plead with His Father in Heaven for those who were in the process of taking His life from Him “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” In forgiving Eric and Dylan we believe that we are forgiving them for the same reason Christ asked for those taking his own life to be forgiven – they did not
know what they were doing April 20, 1999 when they took 15 lives, including their own, and injured 24 more.
Although USA Today attempted to rewrite history this past week and erroneously reported that the Columbine shooters were not on antidepressants we are here to remind the world that Eric Harris was on the antidepressant Luvox. Whether Eric was sharing his meds with Dylan, which is far too common with kids, or was on his own prescription we will never know as his records were sealed. In the Red Lake school shooting Jeff Weise was taking
the antidepressant Prozac. Our statement today is that minus antidepressantswe feel sure that the shootings at Columbine High School and Red Lake, MN High School would never have happened and neither would the
majority of the other school shootings and workplace violence shootings (see www.ssristories.drugawareness.org for a long list of documented cases).
Antidepressants push the user into a dream state leaving one to act out nightmares. Columbine was a nightmare acted out by Eric Harris and Dylan Kleebold, just as Red Lake was a nightmare acted out by Jeff Weise which took another 10 lives and injured 7 more. We do not believe they were conscious and coherent enough to fully understand what they were doing because of the adverse effects of antidepressants.
Over the past two years Donna has watched her son Mark go from a normal boy to someone she does no longer recognize because he was given two short bouts of similar drugs given to Eric Harris. Now Mark is living and
experiencing firsthand similar adverse reactions to what Eric was when he shot Mark. How ironic and tragic!
See Mark’s powerful statement below given before the FDA about these drugs that have now robbed him of who he is or was. [UPDATE: Please see the following video to see what has happened to Mark since this press release: http://www.drugawareness.org/mark-taylors-fight4columbine/ ]
If we want the shootings of Columbine and Red Lake to end we MUST learn the truth about the potential dangers of antidepressant medications.

Mark Taylor’s testimony before the FDA
9/13/2004

I am Mark Allen Taylor and I am a victim of the SSRI antidepressant era. I took six to thirteen bullets in the heart area in the Columbine High School shooting when Eric Harris on Luvox opened fire that now infamous day.

They almost had to amputate my leg and my arm. My heart missed by only one millimeter. I had three surgeries. Five years later I am still recuperating.

I went through all this to realize that SSRI antidepressants are dangerous for those who take them and for all those who associate with those who take them.

I hope that my testimony today shows you that you need to take action immediately before more innocent people like me, and you, do not get hurt or die horrible deaths as a result.

As Americans we should have the right to feel safe and if you were doing your job we would be safe. Why are we worrying about terrorists in other countries when the pharmaceutical companies have proven to
be our biggest terrorists by releasing these drugs on an unsuspecting public?

How are we suppose to feel safe at school, at home, on the street, at church or anywhere else if we cannot trust the FDA to do what we are paying you to do? Where were you when I and all of my classmates got shot at Columbine?

You say that antidepressants are effective. So why did they not help Eric Harris before he shot me?

According to Eric they “helped” him to feel homicidal and suicidal after only six weeks on Zoloft. And then he said that dropping off Luvox cold turkey would help him “fuel the rage” he needed to shoot everyone. But he continued on Luvox and shot us all anyway.

So, why did these so called antidepressants not make him better? I will tell you why. It is because they do not work!

We should consider antidepressants to be accomplices to murder.

Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons: Volume 14: number 1: Spring 2009, there is an article by Joel M. Kauffman, Ph.D., [Professor of chemistry emeritus at the University of the Sciences, Philadelphia, Pa.]
In regard to the International Coalition for Drug Awareness, the study reads on page 10: “The International Coalition for Drug Awareness in cooperation with the Prozac Survivors Support Group has produced a website on which about 1,600 [now 3,000] violent incidents associated with SSRI use are described (www.ssristories.drugawareness.org/index.php).”
In regard to SSRI Stories www.SSRIstories.net documenting the link between thousands of cases of multiple murder/suicides and antidepressants, Dr. Kaufmann made the following statement on page 10: “Since no clinical trial involving multiple homicides is ever likely to be run, no firmer evidence is likely to be found. PAXIL: 85 Year Old Man Kills Wife: No History of Violence

PAXIL: 85 Year Old Man Kills Wife: No History of Violence

Wed Nov 12, 2008 7:26 pm

“Paul Deyoub, a forensic psychologist with the Arkansas State Hospital in Little Rock, testified for the state that he didn’t believe Basham was delirious when he killed his wife.

“He said he didn’t believe Basham’s contention that he didn’t remember anything about the killing, and that his first memory that day was waking up in the hospital. He said nearly all defendants charged with domestic homicide that he has evaluated claim to have no memory or some loss of memory of thecrime.”

Well Mr. Forensic Psychologist just for your information (which I am sure drug companies have paid enough to your institution of higher learning to assure you never learn), the reason that ” . . . nearly all defendants charged with domestic homicide [that you have] evaluated claim to have no memory or some loss of memory of the crime” is because the large majority of those
defendants charged with domestic homicide are on SSRI or SNRI antidepressants which affect memory so adversely that “amnesia” is listed as a frequent side effect. WAKE UP!!! If they cannot even remember who they are, how can they remember what happened?!!!

And if this case was prosecuted by the same prosecutor I went up against in Fayetteville a few years ago, who could not make one statement without first reading it from the SSRI Prosecutor’s How to Manual, it is no wonder the courts’ time is still being wasted prosecuting such cases when they should be immediately dismissed and apologis and settlements issued directly from the
drug manufacturers to these families! How very tragic for this poor old man and his family!!!

[The SSRI Prosecutor’s manual is distributed by the drug manufacturers in criminal cases to make sure that anyone who commits a crime, while under the influence of their drugs, goes immediately to jail . Why? So that their drugs remain “innocent” and therefore lucrative because who would want to use a drug that a court has just said produced a suicide or murder or other violent crime? Is providing such a manual illegal? No, but probably should be. Is it unethical? Without a doubt!!!!

But it was obvious to me when testifying in these cases that this manualexisted due to prosecutors asking the same questions of me, almost word for word in every case, no matter which SSRI was involved or where in the country the case was tried. So, while working as the defense attorney on Christopher Pittman’s case, Andy Vickery asked for the manual as evidence and got a copy
for us. If anyone would like to waste their time reading it let me know and I will gladly send you a copy.]

Now back to this elderly man’s case:

As you read through the next two paragraphs understand why I gasp when I hear that this man was given an SSRI while suffering from anxiety, pneumoniaand sleep apnea. You see, anything that increases serotonin – as the SSRI antidepressants are designed to do and all antidepressants do – shuts down the lungs thereby cutting off oxygen to the brain. This is how these drugs produce brain damage, the cutting off of the oxygen supply.

[If you would like to test out this idea on your own, do what I do. Every time you see someone who is not elderly, but generally is overweight and is
carrying around an oxygen tank, ask them which antidepressant they have been on and how long. Then explain to them that the main function of serotonin is the
constriction of smooth muscle tissue which includes the lungs and bronchial tubes [and all major organs] which is why they now need oxygen. And then give
them our website because they are going to want to know what else these drugs have done to their health. But always stress that abrupt or rapid
discontinuation of the drug/drugs is very dangerous.]

Paragraph 4 reads: “Ross testified that in an attempt to explain how Basham, who never had a reputation for violence and always got along with his
wife, could have committed such a bizarre act, she concluded that Basham suffered from delirium.”

Paragraph 7 reads: “Ross pointed out that Autry Basham had pneumonia, took the drug Paxil for anxiety

and suffered from obstructive sleep apnea. All those factors, which were present on the day of Marie Basham’s death, inhibited his ability to get
oxygen to his brain. A lack of oxygen can trigger delirium, she said, especially in the elderly.”

Congratulations are in order for Dr. Ross for being able to understand the real reason for Autry Basham’s delirium was lack of oxygen!!! I wish more
doctors would work a little harder to see what is actually happening in these cases to produce such out of character behavior rather than following the old
school where the drugs involved were very different. Perhaps lack of oxygen leading to delirium is an easier conclusion to arrive at in an elderly patient,
but it does happen in all age groups and is a huge contributing factor in these tragic cases. It is also another reason why hyperbaric oxygen treatment
is so very helpful after using these drugs and subsequently suffering from elevated serotonin levels.

There should be grave concern in our country about such tragic cases as this one where a couple has had a long and loving marriage relationship and in an
instant it is ended in such horror because of what we call “medication”! For those of you who are younger and sadly may not be aware, things like this
DID NOT HAPPEN in the world we grew up in!!!! Cases like this (which I now see far too often) were basically non-existent before the widespread use of
serotonergic drugs.

As it states on the front cover of my book, these drugs have literally turned our world upside down! For this we owe the younger generation and those
generations to come our deepest apologies for the extensive damage we have allowed to occur. I fear we have left you a terrible, terrible legacy that at
this point I do not know if we can make restitution for it.

SEBASTIAN COUNTY : Sides dispute delirium led to husband’s killing of wife
BY DAVE HUGHES

Posted on Thursday, October 30, 2008

GREENWOOD A Fayetteville psychiatrist said Wednesday that 85-year-old Autry Basham suffered from delirium brought on by pneumonia and a sleep
disorder when he slashed the throat of his 83-year-old wife last year.

The testimony of Dr. Robin Ross in Sebastian County Circuit Court in Basham’s first degree murder trial bolstered the defense’s contention that Basham of
Mansfield is innocent of murder because of a mental disease or defect at the time he killed his wife of 64 years, Lola Marie Basham, on Aug. 27, 2007.

The jury trial before Circuit Judge James Cox began Monday and is expected to wrap up today.

Ross testified that in an attempt to explain how Basham, who never had areputation for violence and always got along with his wife, could have
committed such a bizarre act, she concluded that Basham suffered from delirium.

She said tension and anxiety Basham may have been feeling over the falling out between his wife and son Jerry Basham didn’t play a role in triggering
the delirium.

Prosecutors have told jurors they believe Basham killed his wife after they argued the weekend before about her failing memory and her belief that their
son didn’t pay as much attention to them as he should, given the financial and other help they gave him over the years.

Ross pointed out that Autry Basham had pneumonia, took the drug Paxil for anxiety and suffered from obstructive sleep apnea. All those factors, which
were present on the day of Marie Basham’s death, inhibited his ability to get oxygen to his brain. A lack of oxygen can trigger delirium, she said,
especially in the elderly.

Delirium was defined as a disruption of consciousness and a change in perception that can come on rapidly and can come and go over time. It would
have been possible for Basham, she said, to be delirious and still carry out a sequence of events in killing his wife.

In rebuttal, the prosecution called Little Rock forensic psychiatrist Raymond Molden who testified there was no direct evidence that Basham suffered
from delirium.

He said the fact that Basham called his son and daughter-in-law before killing his wife and then carried out the series of actions in killing his wife
showed that he took steps in a logical sequence to bring about a result.

Following a logical sequence of steps, he said, was inconsistent with aperson suffering from delirium.

Paul Deyoub, a forensic psychologist with the Arkansas State Hospital in Little Rock, testified for the state that he didn’t believe Basham was
deliriouswhen he killed his wife.

He said he didn’t believe Basham’s contention that he didn’t remember anything about the killing, and that his first memory that day was waking up in
the hospital. He said nearly all defendants charged with domestic homicide that he has evaluated claim to have no memory or some loss of memory of the
crime.

Australia: Probe into anti-depressants being conducted ‘in secret’

Mon Nov 3, 2008 11:03 pm

Here is the article I just mentioned to you that came out yesterday in
Australia.

“The move comes after an investigation by The Weekend Australian revealed
several hundred thousand scripts for anti-depressants such as Zoloft and Prozac
were last year prescribed to children and subsidised through the
Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, despite the TGA and Pfizer, the company that
markets
Zoloft in Australia, recommending they not be prescribed to anyone under the
age
of 24 for the treatment of depression.”
[???WHAT??? Pfizer is recommending that Zoloft or other SSRIs should not be
given to Australians suffering depression who are under the age of 24? What
about Americans under the age of 24? I know plenty of them still being
prescribed Zoloft and other SSRIs for depression and I do not see Pfizer
rushing in
to stop that in this country. What’s up? And what the heck is the
Pharmaceutical Benefits “Scheme”? Sounds like a scheme to benefit Pharma, which
I am
sure it does and does so very, very well.]
“Medicare figures show that, since 1990, when Prozac first appeared on
pharmacy shelves, there have been almost 10,000 reports of suspected adverse
reactions to SSRIs received by the TGA’s Australian Adverse Drug Reactions
Advisory Committee.”
[In a private note from Dr. Lucire she states that “TGA cannot count … the
figures are wrong as there have been, not 10,000 adverse event reports, but
53,000 – all silenced by RANZCP person who gets lots from Big Pharma]
“This is being done in secret,” Dr Lucire said. “We have no terms of
reference, no opportunity for people to make submissions; it’s a scandal.”
Federal Health Department secretary Jane Halton wrote to Dr Lucire recently,
informing her the inquiry was under way and the panel would report back at
the end of this year.
“This only happened after,” Dr Lucire said. “In frustration at being fobbed
off by the TGA, I personally sent the head of the department 100 cases
detailing what had actually happened to people who went from being fully
functioning members of the community to patients with serious mental health
problems
and some who in fact killed themselves after being put on these drugs for
stress-related disorders.”
So I send you this article as a reminder that this issue with SSRIs and
SNRIs and the Atypical Antipsychotics is clearly an international problem
affecting people worldwide. Whether you are religious or not it becomes quite
clear
that John got it right in Revelations 18:23-24 when he said the whole world
would be “deceived” (lied to and taken in by those lies) about these
pharmaceutical drugs in our day.
Why are the warnings being kept from those who need them? Before the week is
over I will send you more out of England showing the refusal of those in
authority to send out warnings on Stratera, the SSRI being prescribed for ADHD.
As the quote on the back of my book reads: “Never, before Prozac, has a
medication been so misrepresented by so many people for so long in the absence
of
adequate data.” by Dr. Mantosh Dewan & Dr. Prakash Masand
And I would add that never in spite of the data we have on a group of drugs,
before SSRIs, has there been such ignorance about a group of drugs as there
is with these because of the calculated secrecy behind making this data
available to those who need it.

Probe into anti-depressants being conducted ‘in secret’

Julie-Anne Davies | November 01, 2008

THE Therapeutic Goods Administration is investigating the adverse effects of
SSRI anti-depressants, a widely prescribed group of drugs that includes the
well-known brands Prozac and Zoloft.
The TGA confirmed in a statement to The Weekend Australian that it had
established a special expert panel of psychiatrists and epidemiologists to
review
a number of cases involving patients who had had adverse reactions to these
drugs. It is believed hundreds of cases will be reviewed.
“Although there has not been a jump in adverse events from SSRIs, there has
been community concern about potential overuse,” the TGA said.
Medicare figures show that, since 1990, when Prozac first appeared on
pharmacy shelves, there have been almost 10,000 reports of suspected adverse
reactions to SSRIs received by the TGA’s Australian Adverse Drug Reactions
Advisory
Committee.
More than 12 million SSRI antidepressant scripts were subsidised by the
Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme last year.
Sydney psychiatrist Yolande Lucire, who has reported between 300 and 400
cases to the TGA in which she claims patients have had serious reactions to the
anti-depressants, including some who had committed suicide, said the inquiry
must be made public.
“In frustration at being fobbed
off by the TGA, I personally sent the head of the department 100 cases
detailing what had actually happened to people who went from being fully
functioning
members of the community to patients with serious mental health problems and
some who in fact killed themselves after being put on these drugs for
stress-related disorders.”
The TGA has also asked all drug companies that market SSRI anti-depressants
in Australia to update the wording of their suicide warnings concerning
children and young people under 24 years in the information provided to
patients.
“The TGA is working with other sponsors to ensure that the wording in the
CMIs clearly reflects the issues contained in the product information for their
products,” it said.
The move comes after an investigation by The Weekend Australian revealed
several hundred thousand scripts for anti-depressants such as Zoloft and Prozac
were last year prescribed to children and subsidised through the
Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, despite the TGA and Pfizer, the company that
markets
Zoloft in Australia, recommending they not be prescribed to anyone under the
age
of 24 for the treatment of depression.
Significant discrepancies in the information given to parents about the
potential dangers of the drugs to children were also uncovered.
Two weeks ago, Melbourne mother Nicola Mulcahey reached a confidential court
settlement with her 16-year-old daughter’s GP, who she had sued for
prescribing Zoloft to the teenager for depression.
Ms Mulcahey claimed the drug made her daughter suicidal and said she was not
advised of the risks associated with the drug.
In another case detailed in The Australian and now being followed up by
Pfizer, a 14-year-old girl became suicidal after taking Zoloft. Her parents said
they were not warned this might happen nor told to monitor her for symptoms of
suicidal thoughts or self-harm.
David Kitching, from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of
Psychiatrists, said his organisation was unaware of the inquiry and had not been
approached by the TGA to contribute.
“But in the general setting I would say that nothing new in the literature
suggests we need to be any more vigilant than we already have been when it
comes to documenting the side effects of this class of drug,” Dr Kitching
said.

Anti-depressants kill another: Christopher Brockman

From Dr.Ann BLake Tracy:

Sunday, 31 August 2008

It is with a great sadness I report to you the tragic death of Chris Brockman. The story from his mother below explains what happened to Chris – a story that has been repeated over and over aganin with these deadly antidepressants. Chris was only 15 when he was given this cocktail of drugs that caused him to act so completely out of character in such a violent way. What we as a society have done to children like Chris is reprehensible!

I would encourage you to send your condolences to his mother, Cynthia, who joined us in Washington, DC last year to testify to the FDA about the dangers of these drugs. She can be reached at the following e-mail address: cab16@myway.com And for the handful of you who are still on this list only to defend your use of these drugs I would ask that you please leave Cynthia alone to grieve for the loss of her son.

In Chris’ case I feel responsible in that I did not push even harder for a supportive newsletter to go out to all of the kids stuck in prison for using these drugs that were never approved for use in these children. If this case stirs anyone to offer to help with this project, PLEASE let me know. I DO NOT want to ever see another of these tragedies happen again! The problem is that it is against prison policy for inmates to correspond with one another. As a result there is no way for them to be supportive or to obtain support from those who understand what they have been through more than anyone else on the planet. But they could get a newsletter that discusses what is happening with the cases of others in their position. They could follow the progress of appeals, etc. I think this might have been a help to Chris so that he would not have felt so alone.

Cynthia, together we join in offering you our prayers of comfort.

Subject: Chris passed away last night RE: Remember the prisoners as if chained with them
Date: Fri, 6 Jan 2006 09:50:17 -0500 (EST)

Dear Cassie,

My sweet, precious son, Christopher Anson Brockman, passed away last night. He had been so depressed and off of his omega-3-fatty-acid found in fish oil for a few months…. I saw him last Sunday and he was not himself. He hung himself last night at 6:52 pm….

Thank you for your prayers.

Love, Cynthia—

My 18 year old son is serving a life sentence for murder that he committed while on Zoloft and Adderall and Risperdal. We grieve not only the tragic loss of life, but also his life sentence for the involuntary intoxication and akathisia adverse effects resulting from iatrogenic phenomenom that caused him to be temporarily insane when he committed his offense. We are on our second appeal request for a new trial. We have post conviction new evidence that after having been discontinued from the akathisia inducing Rx, akathisia symptoms disappeared for almost a year only to reappear when
Zoloft was later readministered. We have no doubt that it was the doctor prescribed medication caused the type of brain damage that destroyed his cognitive and behavioral normal functioning.

We have and are continuing to suffer beyond description from the medical malpractice and negligent prescription of SSRI’s and other medications at the hands not only of the free world doctor that initially poisoned my son, but also at the hands of incompetent and negligent doctors in the penal institutions.

When will the pharmaceutical killing fields be stopped? How many more have to die as a result of these defective prescription drug products?

I am a religious volunteer who counsels inmates and am shocked at the number of prisoners who have had catastrophic adverse and toxic reactions to their medication which caused them to commit crimes. They are experiencing some of the same Rx reactions while still on some of the same doctor presribed drugs that sent them to prison.

I will write again.

God Bless You, Cynthia Brockman

Cynthia,

This is Ann Blake-Tracy. I just heard. I am so very sorry to learn about Chris!

This is the most tragic lesson for this group to have happen to help them realize how important this newsletter is that I have begged so many to help with for so very long! For years now I have asked that someone gather info from all those in prison and put it in a newsletter since they cannot write to each other to lend support. I think it would be a big help to all of them to know what others are going through and how their cases are coming along. It would be a type of support for them. They have been left behind and so alone like no one else in these tragedies.

I know there is really nothing to say other than I am just sick to learn of this senseless loss of life. I will reach Rosie, who is currently traveling to visit her sister who is dying of cancer brought on by years of use of an older antidepressant, to let her know. I know she will want to talk to you.

Love,

Ann

Grief Recovery without Drugs

“Is there really an alternative to anti-depressant drugs? YES, YES, YES!”

Hello Ann B Tracy,

Fourteen months ago I was struck down with any parent’s worst nightmare. My beloved 33-year-old son committed suicide. He had been taking anti-depressants for about 4 years, and I may never be sure if these influenced his actions.

My story is about my recovery from this horrendous event. One thing that every survivor of suicide is aware of is that one ‘recovers’ from suicide in the same manner that one ‘recovers’ from alcoholism. There may never be a time when a sudden reminder of the loved one does not bring anguished tears.

When I began to suffer nightmares and insomnia I consulted my local physician. She’s a wonderful lady, newly out of medical school, open-minded, frank and conscientious. AND she prescribed Prozac! Having had a brief negative experience with both Valium and Prozac, I took the prescription home–and threw it in the trash. Shortly thereafter my husband bought me two milk goats. (We live on a ranch where this is possible, but it is also possible in many suburban settings.) These animals need attention twice a day–they need to be milked and fed in the morning, and fed in the evening. One cannot stay in bed waiting for them to milk and feed themselves–so I had to get up! And I had to be up to take care of them in the evening, also. This may sound like a small thing, but prior to their arrival I stayed in bed half the day and consequently couldn’t sleep at night.

This spring they blessed us with three adorable kids, which also need, and give, love and attention! I was able to experience the joy of witnessing new birth, new life, new love coming into my life. Of course, these wonderful animals are not my only interest in life, but they did awaken in me a renewed sense of the continuation of life.

I was fascinated with a friend’s response recently when I shared this story with her. “Did they really help you? Is there really an alternative to anti-depressant drugs?” And my answer is an unequivocal, resounding “YES, YES, YES”!

Blessings on your wonderful work,

Prozac and Johnnie Brown

“The alcohol and the antidepressants almost killed him.”

am so glad I give all the glory to God that I have this information! I have a thirteen year old son who has been on a number of anti-depressants!

He has been in custody with my father a Firefighter and my step-mom who was a nurse. After my step-mom passed away almost 5 years ago my son became depressed. The Dr.’s have given him these medications for many years. I moved up to Washington because I received a call from my father saying he wanted me to come get my son! I jokingly said what’s the matter dad he’s not cute anymore! It was November 2003 when I arrived to Spokane WA. from Oakland Ca. Boy what a ride. I don’t mean the flight here!

My son had cut marks on his arms, from the ruler he was using in school. He was in trouble at school, falling asleep at his desk. They were ready to kick him out. At home he was I thought experimenting with alcohol and weed! Thank God I am a recovered addict alcoholic! This helped me in finding all his hiding places, and everything he was doing. Johnnie had told me these thing on his own He was crushing the Amphetamines his dr. had prescribed and snorting them. He would abuse them sneak them and he was stealing booze from my dads cupboard above the fridge! He was abusing inhalers. smoking weed! I removed him from the prescribed medications and had my father make an appointment to see his Dr. It was just too dangerous.

My dad started working full-time again driving school bus. I noticed my son would be laying on the floor of the shower in the morning before school. I questioned all these things for God to reveal! About February 2004 I woke up to sounds of my child crying the uncontrollable sobs! The cry that someone cries when they can’t go on ! I ran through the house he wasn’t upstairs I found him downstairs with my jacket and his shoes on with his PJ’s. He had taken my Dads gun out of the closet in the den! He cried out to me!” Where are the Bullets, I need the bullets, I can’t go on anymore, It’s only going to get worse, Where are the bullets he screamed at me!!??” My heart just broke! My very handsome beautiful child was so damaged I could not get him to come around! no matter what I said or what I prayed! I was crying too! and screamed for my dad, it was 3:00 am.

My dad called the authorities. My son was transmitted to Sacred Heart Hospital in the Adolescent Mental Health facility. the Dr.’s noticed a twitch in his Lip and his head! They put a heart monitor on him and found that he had acceleration and deceleration by 30 points! They did a MRI not all results have come in! They found he has a spot in his brain! He has MS Korea, Damage to his brain stem, he was deeply depressed and dehydrated which I thought was impossible because he was drinking distilled water by the gallons. The alcohol and the antidepressants almost killed him! So the Dr’s and Court ordered him to take them with Ramsinol, Prozac, fish oil, sleeping pills and penicillin because he is a carrier for strep! He has recently since he’s been out of the hospital cut himself once and him and his friend vandalized someone’s property and he didn’t realize what he was doing!

Knowing that he would face 180 days lock-up I feel responsible for letting him stay the night at a friends house and trusting the other parents in charge. Well everything happens for a reason! I woke up today and was given information about this web sit and Dr. Ann Blake Tracy! I was also given information about Dr. John Lindzer who God directs to heal and has a very wonderful gift!! I thank also Peter and Paula Ryan and all of this gift I give thanks to my cousin June Miller and Karen Conners! I give all the glory honor and Praise to God! and my Dad Gary Brown and my son Johnnie!

Children and Anti Depressants

“…maybe if people speak up, they will stop with this medication.”

I recently wrote a true story regarding my daughter, it is a story of a child’s chilling struggle with “off label” medications. I would very much appreciate for you to post my link, it is a must read for all, maybe if people speak up, they will stop with this medication.

Prozac Prescribed Immediately

“Within a few weeks (of taking Prozac), I began having nightmares of murdering people.”

Hi, I work shiftwork and I listen to Art Bell (for entertainment purposes only…ha ha) and I heard your interview with Barbara Simpson. I just wanted to write you and tell you my experience with Prozac.

About 8 years ago, I went to see a psychiatrist about my depression, and he immediately put me on Prozac, without saying five words to me. Within a few weeks, I began having nightmares of murdering people. They were so awful, I couldn’t sleep. I immediately went back to the doctor to tell him about my problem, and he said not to worry about it, it was COMPLETELY NORMAL ! !

I immediately stopped taking the drug and went to see a psychologist, instead. I have been depression free ever since, because of the therapy given to me by the psychologist. Oh, and by the way, the nightmares stopped immediately after I stopped taking the Prozac.

I guess the real reason I am writing is in response to the Andrea Yates trial in Houston. I don’t know her, but it was reported on the news that she was on four different anti-depressants at the same time. If this is true, it is no wonder she did what she did. It is her doctor and the drug companies that should be on trial for the murder of her children. Something has to be done about this and I hope you could use your knowledge of the subject to inform everyone about the dangers of these drugs. I have written all the local news agencies in Houston and sent them Links to your website and the drug awareness website.

Thanks, Gary

4/13/2001 – Another school shooting & antidepressants

Well, now that it is public information we can let you know that once again
antidepressants were involved in another of the recent school shootings. Beth
Bush had been on antidepressants before shooting a classmate. This article is
from the Washington Post. Of course we are led to believe that the
“antidepressants failed to help”, rather than being educated to the fact that
they were the CAUSE of the shooting.

H.S. Shooter Talks of Taunting

The Associated Press
Thursday, April 12, 2001; 9:19 PM

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. A 14-year-old girl said she shot a classmate last month
to make the victim “know my pain” from repeated teasing and taunting.

Elizabeth Bush told the ABC News program “20/20” that the shooting has played
over repeatedly in her mind since March 7, the day she shot Kim Marchese at
the cafeteria of Bishop Neumann Junior-Senior High School.

Elizabeth, who had transferred into the school a year earlier, told
interviewer Connie Chung that she was deeply depressed and counseling and
anti-depressants failed to help.

“They’d just call me an idiot, stupid, fat, ugly, faggot, whatever,”
Elizabeth said in the interview, which is scheduled to air Friday.

Elizabeth said her depression caused her to cut her arms with a razor. She
said Kim had befriended her but told others about the self-mutilation,
leaving her feeling betrayed.

“People express their anger different ways,” Elizabeth said. “Crying helps.
That didn’t help me. So I thought maybe I’d try this and maybe it will help.
And it’s just like the actually the pain is it just takes away all your
depression and for a minute you’re not depressed anymore.”

She was sentenced April 4 to an open-ended term at a psychiatric facility.

Kim Marchese, who was wounded in the right shoulder, told Chung that she now
knows she should have acted differently.

“I knew the teasing was wrong and that’s why I asked her if it was bothering
her so I would stop,” Kim said, “I mean, I should have stopped right away.”
