HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) — The woman who pleaded
guilty to causing a fiery crash that killed a mother and two high school
students will spend a minimum six years behind bars.

A mother has been
convicted after “deliberately wielding a handbag” and striking a police
officer.
Diminutive Lorna Vinten, 44, charged in to help her son who was
being restrained by four police officers, swinging her small blue handbag
containing her keys, cigarettes and mobile phone.
But despite Redhill
Magistrates’ Court hearing the handbag had struck with the force of a pillow,
Mrs Vinten was convicted of two counts of assault, and resisting a constable in
the execution of his duty.

THE son of a Worcester councillor has been jailed for spitting at a
police officer and stealing.
Azad Hussain – whose father is former mayor
of Worcester Coun Allah
Ditta – stole £499 of electrical goods from a woman who was renting a house
from his family.
Hussain, aged 25, claimed she owed him council tax and
said that he was seizing her belongings, including a high-definition television
and computer screen, until she paid up.

Vincent’s first trip to a mental institution to which the
writing of Self-Made Man drove her convinced her that further
immersion would give her great material for a follow-up. The grand tour consists
of voluntary commitments to a hospital mental ward, a small private facility and
a boutique facility; but Vincent’s efforts to make a big statement about the
state of mental health treatment quickly give way to a more personal journey.

state of mental health treatment quickly give way to a more personal journey. An
attempt to wean herself off Prozac, for example, adds a greater sense of urgency
to her second research trip, while the therapists overseeing her final treatment
lead her to a major emotional breakthrough. Meanwhile, her fellow patients are
easily able to peg her as an emotional parasite
