Antidepressant: Woman Who Made False Accusations of Abuse at Duke Found Guilty of Murder

crystalmagnum

Crystal Magnum

Found Guilty of Murder

This case makes it clear why it is so important for the public and the judicial system to recognize and understand these antidepressant-induced False Accusations of Abuse or recognize any of the early toxic reactions. This case of her false accusations of abuse against the Duke players was a warning sign of potentially more dangerous toxic reactions to her medication. Even though the story below refers to the case and states that “Magnum’s inconsistent story and her mental stability was called into question” still no one linked her questionable mental stability to adverse reactions to her antidepressant. If someone would have known enough to see her first case as a toxic reaction to the antidepressants she was on, and these false accusations of abuse are such common reactions to antidepressants, then they should have known enough to wean her off the medications at that point … before it reached the point of her committing murder as the drug reactions worsened leading to violence. This was completely preventable!!!

You can see the progress of the toxicity in her behavior listed below:

* 2006 – Falsely accused three Duke lacrosse players of raping her in a gang rape…Magnum’s inconsistent story and her mental stability was called into question. …Prosecutors declined to press charges for the false accusations, but Mangum’s bizarre legal troubles continued.

* Not long after she was convicted on misdemeanor charges of setting a fire that nearly razed her home with her three children inside.

* In a videotaped police interrogation, she told officers she set got into a confrontation with her boyfriend at the time – not Daye – and burned his clothes, smashed his car windshield and threatened to stab him.

* 2011 – Stabbed boyfriend, Reginald Daye, killing him.

You can find all of this listed as examples of antidepressant toxic reactions in my 2004 http://www.drugawareness.org/fda-testimony/dr-ann-blake-tracys-september-13-2004-to-the-fda and 2006 testimonies before the FDA http://www.drugawareness.org/fda-testimony/dr-ann-blake-tracys-december-13-2006-to-the-fda

ZOLOFT & ZYPREXA: GRANDSON STABS GRANDMOTHER 111 TIMES

Zak Weston

ZACHARY COLE WESTON

Just over a year ago on October 3, 2012 while under the influence of Zoloft and Zyprexa Zak Cole killed his grandmother stabbing her 111 times. The attack was brutal and very gruesome. You can read the details below from the original article.

“SALT LAKE CITY — Prosecutors say a man accused of killing his grandmother in her Avenues home stabbed her 111 times.

“Disturbing new court documents were released Friday as Zachary Cole Weston, 21, was charged with aggravated murder, a capital offense.

“Weston is accused of stabbing Joyce Dexter, 84, multiple times on Oct. 3. Police were called to Dexter’s house, 310 J St., where Weston was living, on a report of a possible domestic disturbance. When they arrived, they found Weston standing over his grandmother while holding a bloody knife, the charges state. He also had blood on his hands and clothing.

“Weston told investigators that he “stabbed his grandma” and admitted that he “slit her belly, her jugular and her heart,” charging documents state. A medical examiner later determined that nine of the 111 stab wounds were to the heart. Prosecutors said several of the victim’s internal organs had also been removed.”

Clearly he had serious reactions to medications with several charges being filed for other incidents within the past couple of years before this tragedy. What a shame that no one caught it all sooner to wean him off the medications. Knowing UNI as I do, it being the first place I was ever invited to lecture on the subject of violence associated with the SSRI antidepressants, I can tell you there is no way they would have ever picked up on what was happening to him!

Once again I repeat that medical research has been clear from the early 50’s that increasing serotonin via interfering with the metabolism of serotonin (or serotonin reuptake inhibition – exactly the mode of action of SSRI and SNRI antidepressants) will produce impulsive murder and/or suicide. For verification of that feel free to access the court testimony of Dr. John Mann in the WY case of Tobin vs Glaxo, decision 2001. Dr. Mann was the expert witness for Glaxo yet was compelled to testify to his years of research into serotonin and impulsive murder and suicide.

The Physicians Desk Reference states that antidepressants can cause mania, psychosis, abnormal thinking, paranoia, hostility, aggression, agitation, confusion, amnesia, abnormal dreams, sleep disorders and a host of other adverse neuropsychiatric effects. Withdrawal, especially abrupt withdrawal, can also cause these same adverse effects.

Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill could not comment Friday on a possible motive or Weston’s possible state of mind at the time of the attack. He praised police, however, for responding so quickly to the crime scene and confronting the grandson before he left.

Family members have told reporters Weston suffered from a mental illness.

Weston has been involved in a recent series of incidents against relatives and others, showing an apparent trend of increasing violence, according to court records.

Last week, he was charged in 3rd District Court in an unrelated assault against another family member. On Sept. 27, Weston, who was living at the time with his father, got into an argument with his dad and began hitting him, according to court documents. When a female friend of Walt Weston, who was also at the house, tried to intervene, Zach Weston allegedly bit her.

In 2010, Weston was arrested for shoving his mother and hitting a police officer. He pleaded guilty to one of two assault charges. As part of his sentence, he was ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation and complete any recommended treatment.

On Aug. 8, Weston was at the University Neuropsychiatric Institute at University Hospital for an initial assessment when he slapped a UNI employee with an open hand, according to a University of Utah police report, and punched another in the face.

For those incidents, he was charged on Aug. 9 with two counts of assault and interfering with a police officer during an arrest, class B misdemeanors. On Sept. 24 he was charged with two counts of battery and making a false alarm, also class B misdemeanors.

ANTIDEPRESSANT: SIX DEAD: DAMIAN RZESZOWSKI NOT GUILTY IN MASS MURDER CASE

N0439001344860140469A[1]

This beautiful little girl is Kinga Rzeszowski (5) who was stabbed to death along with her mother, younger brother, maternal grandfather, friend & her friend’s mother by her father who then stabbed himself 40 times even to the point of collapsing one of his lungs, then slashed his throat & wrists another 20 times! A jury in the UK has just found him not guilty of murder, but guilt of the lesser charge of manslaughter. A day or two before the murder he had overdosed on antidepressants. Few realize that as the serotonin rises you have an LSD or PCP reaction because the body reacts to LSD or PCP as a rush of serotonin. They mimic serotonin. There is little difference when antidepressants force the serotonin level too high! Would anyone have been surprised by his actions had he been taking PCP? Of course not! But they remain CLUELESS when it comes to this similar effect with antidepressants!!! So clueless that he continues taking a cocktail of drugs in prison – a common theme in these antidepressant-induced tragedies.

After two decades of testifying & consulting in these antidepressant-induced violent murders & suicides it amazes me how absolutely ignorant the entire world remains, including the court system, to the connection & true cause of such incomprehensible violence!!! I have worked Columbine & MANY other US school shootings, comedian Phil Hartman & his wife’s murder/suicide & MANY more murder/suicides wiping out entire families, Andrea Yates’ case & MANY other mothers who have killed their children over the past 20+ years. Yet the courts & everyone else seem to continue to remain ignorant of the fact that antidepressants cause you to act out your worst nightmare in a sleep state called a REM Sleep Behavior Disorder (RBD). Of those being diagnosed with RBD 80% hurt themselves or someone else & 86% of those diagnosed with RBD were found to be taking an antidepressant. It antidepressant is the single most common denominator in these cases, yet it seems the whole world is failing the simple math in this case!

How do the pharmaceutical companies keep these cases suppressed the way they do?! They have LONG known their drugs cause these tragedies. The large numbers of secret settlements remain hidden from the public so you are not aware how often they happen. Goggle ssristories to see a database of just a few all too similar cases. (Especailly note the Donald Schell case in Wyoming) So WHO is guilty of premeditation in this case? Do you really think Damian Rzeszowski was warned that taking an antidepressant could possibly cause this? NO! And few other patients have ever been warned either!

You can continue to cry for vengeance upon this man or any of the others instead of looking at the true guilty parties in this horrific tragedy, but mark my words … in doing so the cost may be your life or the life of a loved one someday soon.! This is a serious public safety issue! When is someone near you on an antidepressant going to slip into a toxic nightmare (literal nightmare of RBD) & include you in that nightmare?

Look how many times this man stabbed himself! even to the point of collapsing his lung! That cannot happen without this frenzied drug state! He had just overdosed on these drugs. Tragically, few are aware that the brain goes dead before the body in an overdose with antidepressants. Why was he released from the hospital before the full toxic effect of the rising serotonin hit him to cause this psychotic reaction?

WARNING: If you are taking an antidepressant you must know that it is more likely that this violent sleep disorder, RBD, is more common in withdrawal .So, weaning off an antidepressant MUST be VERY, VERY gradual (months or years, rather than days or weeks) so as to avoid this serious toxic reaction.

ANTIDEPRESSANT: Woman Threatens Neighbor With Knife: England

Paragraphs 14 through 16 read:  “Charles Maidstone,

“This is a very sad case,” he
said.

“She is on medication. She was also drinking. I

Mum warned of jail after knifing threat

By Anna
Roberts

September 09, 2009

An eight-year-old girl pleaded for
her mum to stop brandishing a knife at her neighbours after the woman threatened
to stab them.

Joanne Ireson wielded the kitchen knife outside her home
in Cardigan Road, East Reading, at about 8pm on Tuesday, June 16.

The
fracas took place after Ireson’s daughter snuck off to play outside on her own
and she shouted at her to come back.

But Ireson’s concerned neighbours
got “the wrong end of the stick” and called police – causing her to threaten
them with the blade.

At Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August
25, Ireson – of previously good character – admitted one count of possessing the
eight-inch knife in a public place and one of using violence and/or threatening
behaviour towards neighbour Daniel Thiemert.

Lauren Murphy,
prosecuting, explained the emergency services received three phone calls from
concerned people saying a woman was waving a knife about.

She said: “A
neighbour heard a person shouting and screaming. She stated Miss Ireson was
screaming at her children.”

Miss Murphy said at this point Ireson said:
“If you call the police I will stab you.”

She continued: “She [Ireson]
pushed the neighbour and she fell over. She went in the house and came back with

a knife. She said if she could not stab him she would stab herself.

“The
girl [her daughter] said, ‘Will you put the knife down?’

“Another
neighbour [Mr Thiemert] also said he heard shouting. He said he saw a glass
object being thrown at the young girl.

“He [Mr Thiemert] said, ‘I am
going to call the police’. She said, ‘Who the f*** are you?’”

At this
point Ireson punched Mr Thiemert and threw a cigarette lighter at him.

Charles Maidstone, defending, said Ireson had been depressed since the
death of her partner in February, this year.

“This is a very sad case,”
he said.

“She is on medication. She was also drinking. I understand she
finds it helps her sleep.

“This incident arose from a problem with
disciplining the children.”

He suggested neighbours had got “the wrong
end of the stick” and added Ireson was a caring mum.

Ireson, 36, was
released on unconditional bail to reappear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on
Tuesday, September 15.

District Judge Peter Crabtree said: “I take into
account what has been said about your difficult circum-stances and also that you
are a person of good character and pleaded guilty at the earliest opportunity.

“Nevertheless, taking a kitchen knife out into the street is a very
serious offence.”

He said she ran the risk of a jail
term.

3/24/2001 – Med school study reveals unethical practices

Med school study reveals unethical practices
Unnecessary exams, practising on dead at teaching hospitals

Margaret Munro
National Post

Medical students frequently face pressure to act
unethically and most say they have seen their clinical teachers acting
unethically as well, a study by researchers at the University of Toronto has
found.

The study surveyed 108 medical students and found that
47% said
they “very frequently,” “frequently” or “occasionally” felt pressure to act
unethically. Almost two-thirds of the students had also seen their teacher
behave unethically.

The study listed some of the unethical activities,
including practising procedures on dying patients and conducting unnecessary
examinations on unconscious ones.

Some students at the University of Toronto’s teaching
hospitals were asked to conduct vaginal exams on patients under general
anaesthetic without their consent. One described being told to perform an
unnecessary “femoral stab,” which involves locating a vein, on a dying
patient who was in a vegetative state and without getting any family consent.

Another watched as a woman who had asked not to be given
narcotics as she gave birth was given the potent drugs without her knowledge.
The study was conducted by five young doctors who recently trained at the
university. The results will be published in the British Medical Journal on
Saturday.

“It’s not as if it happens every day,” says co-author
David Robertson, who is about to graduate from the medical school. But it is
disturbing to know it happens at all, he says.

The students, some of whom reported being “scared to
death” of professors barking orders at them, also described how patients’
identities and medical problems were described in public places. The students
were also expected to perform procedures they were not competent to handle,
such as closing wounds, assessing unstable patients and giving psychotherapy.
They also report that patients were sometimes asked to return to clinics for
unnecessary follow-up visits that were only for the students’ benefit.

U of T medical school officials say they are familiar
with the study’s findings and are working to put an end to such
“reprehensible” activities.

“We’re aware of it and distressed by it and trying to
stamp it out,” said Dr. Rick Frecker, associate dean of
the university’s undergraduate medical education.

Dr. Frecker said no action was taken against professors
involved, as the identities of the students and doctors were protected as
part of the study, which was conducted a few years ago.

He said there would be serious repercussions for
professors if the students were to bring such cases of unethical behavior to
his attention today.

Dr. Frecker said he was approached a few years ago by Mr.
Robertson and a group of concerned students wondering what
could be done about the unethical activities and coercion that have long been
part of medical training. He said he encouraged the students to document
specific cases in a bid to raise awareness of the problem.

He and other university officials were surprised to learn
yesterday that the findings will be showcased in the
prestigious British Medical Journal, which is publishing the students’
findings and has an editorial and commentary condemning the “hypocrisy” in
the medical profession.

“There may have been a time when doctors could get away
with being trustworthy in public, but despicable in private, but this is an
age where no secret is kept for long and really all doctors should know
better,” says the commentary by Andrew West and colleagues at Oxford
University.

“The medical profession urgently needs to learn respect
for the living and for the dead, and thereby earn the public respect that is
its lifeblood,” they conclude.

In the editorial, medical ethicist Len Doyal, of the
Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, says the Toronto findings are
likely relevant to medical education in schools around the world. They
reinforce the need for detailed codes of acceptable activities in medical
education to prevent abuse of both patients and students, he wrote.

Mr. Robertson said in an interview that such policies
need to be backed by a culture that is receptive to change.

He said the University of Toronto medical school is
“moving in the right direction.”
