GLAXO ORDERED TO PAY OUT ANOTHER MULTIMILLION DOLLAR VERDICT IN ATTORNEY’S SUICIDE

Definitely great news to be getting on the 18th anniversary of Columbine!!!

I cannot believe how incredibly stupid this drug company is!!!! If they were not make foolish enough in the Tobin vs Glaxo case by their own expert testifying under oath that according to his decades of research on serotonin that the two pills of their deadly antidepressant Paxil taken by a mild mannered elderly grandfather Donald Schell should have been expected to cause him to shoot his wife, visiting daughter and infant granddaughter and himself….Yet they were stupid enough to take the case of a suicide by a prominent attorney to court instead of settling the case with a gag order in place to keep this from the public as they have done for decades?!!

They must all be on these antidepressant drugs shown in 1993 research to turn brain cells into corkscrew shapes!!!!! There clearly are not a lot of smarts in that company!

Or maybe they think they have produced enough corkscrew shaped brain cells in the general public with these drugs that no one will notice this verdict….

Generic Paxil Garners Guilty Verdict For GSK

Whatever this is great news for victims because apparently this attorney took the generic version of Paxil, Paroxetine, which has been able to avoid wrongful death suits because it is a generic form of a drug that has been ruled “safe and effective” by the FDA. It did not work this time! Glaxo who put out the original Paxil and Brisdelle (Paxil with a name change given for Menopause) has now been found liable for this suicide!! I love it! Karma has found them and they have reaped what they sowed for putting these deadly drugs on the market.

GSK Hit With $3M Verdict For Reed Smith Atty’s Suicide
By Jessica Corso

Law360, Chicago (April 20, 2017, 4:20 PM EDT) — An Illinois federal jury on Thursday found GlaxoSmithKline liable for the death of Reed Smith LLP partner Stewart Dolin and ordered the pharmaceutical giant to pay $3 million to the attorney’s widow, reaching the conclusion that a generic version of GSK’s Paxil caused Dolin to take his own life.

A nine-person jury agreed with Wendy Dolin that her husband had committed suicide in 2010 under the influence of generic paroxetine, an antidepressant sold as brand-named Paxil. (AP) Following five weeks of trial testimony, the nine-person jury agreed…

Attorney Stu Dolan’s suicide was horrific. It was yet another suicide by train which in my research I have RARELY found any of these extremely violent suicides which did not include the use of an antidepressant. Read here about this extremely high profile and very successful attorney to know that a $3Million verdict did not even begin to compensate for this man’s life!!!

STUDY: ANTIDEPRESSANTS DOUBLE RISK OF FEELINGS LEADING TO SUICIDE

pills

Lead researcher: Believing drugs aren’t dangerous for adults is “a potentially lethal misconception.”

A review of the clinical trials of antidepressants taken by healthy adults with no signs of a mental health disorder has found these drugs used to treat the illness actually doubled the harms related to suicide and violence. Experts working on the study said the analysis was undertaken because the harms of antidepressants, including the risk of suicide, are often explained away as if they are disease symptoms or only a problem in children. Professor Peter Gøtzsche, of the Nordic Cochrane Centre and lead author of the study, said: “While it is now generally accepted that antidepressants increase the risk of suicide and violence in children and adolescents, most people believe that these drugs are not dangerous for adults.

“This is a potentially lethal misconception.”

(Scroll down to read the full article on this research.)

After spending the past quarter of a century now specializing in adverse reactions to antidepressants I cannot agree more with this new research by Dr. Gotzsche indicating a chemically-induced increase in suicidal thinking brought on by the use of antidepressants. It is clearly chemically-induced as the patients themselves are often shocked by their own self-destructive thoughts and wonder where they are coming from.

ANTIDEPRESSANT-INDUCED REM SLEEP DISORDER

AND SUICIDAL THOUGHTS

Because I have focused much of my research on the impairment of sleep by antidepressants I would have liked to see more brought out on their repression of REM sleep. That in turn leads to the acting out of both murders and suicides in a dream state brought on by these medications when they chemically-induce the deadly REM Sleep Disorder. Previous research shows that 86% of those being diagnosed with this deadly sleep disorder long known to include both murder and suicide are currently taking an antidepressant. But because REM Sleep Disorder has long been known as a drug withdrawal state, we need to know how many more might be in antidepressant withdrawal at the time of the thoughts of murder or suicide. You can read more on this aspect of the drugs in our Facebook group Antidepressant-induced REM Sleep Disorder:

Antidepressants: Drugs make people ‘TWICE as likely to think about suicide’ study claims

TAKING anti-depressants could double the risk of having feelings which could lead to suicide – a controversial new study has suggested.

The researchers said believing drugs aren’t dangerous for adults is a misconception

A review of trials of antidepressants taken by healthy adults with no signs of a mental health disorder has found the drugs used to treat the illness doubled the harms related to suicide and violence.Experts working on the study said the analysis was undertaken because the harms of antidepressants, including the risk of suicide, are often explained away as if they are disease symptoms or only a problem in children.Professor Peter Gøtzsche, of the Nordic Cochrane Centre and lead author of the study, said: “While it is now generally accepted that antidepressants increase the risk of suicide and violence in children and adolescents, most people believe that these drugs are not dangerous for adults.“This is a potentially lethal misconception.”

The review has been met with criticism of other experts

He added: “The reporting of harms in drug trials is generally poor.“Our review established that the trials did not report much about their methodology and that the reporting of adverse events was generally inadequate.”Thirteen double-blind, placebo-controlled trials were included in the review by the research team from the Nordic Cochrane Centre and the University of Copenhagen. The researchers believe that the review even ‘underestimates the harms of antidepressants’ since they had access to only the published articles for 11 of the 13 trials, rather than being able to analyse the full data held by the drug companies.

Experts said medications that do good ‘can also do harm’

Professor Gøtzsche added: “It is well documented that drug companies under-report seriously the harms of antidepressants related to suicide and violence, either by simply omittingthem from reports, by calling them something else or by committing scientific misconduct.”However, Professor Sir Simon Wessely, President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and Professor of Psychological Medicine, King’s College London’s Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, said the study ‘changes nothing’.
“This paper shows that antidepressants have side effects such as odd dreams, nervousness and shaking.  This is very familiar to most, if not all, clinicians.”But importantly, no data presented in the paper supports extrapolating from these side-effects to self-harm and violence.“The strongest conclusion one can draw from this data is to say that some symptoms such as agitation occur in depression itself and in response to antidepressants, and that sometimes these symptoms are also experienced by people who go on to commit acts of violence or self-harm.“Overall, medications used in any branch of medicine that do good can also do harm. The same applies in psychiatry.“Current evidence from large scale studies continues to show that for antidepressants the benefits outweigh the risks. If the evidence changes then so will our advice, but this study changes nothing.”

Experts said the study only identified ’emergent harms’ associated with suicide

Dr David Christmas, Member of the Psychopharmacology Committee, Royal College of Psychiatrists and Consultant Psychiatrist in The Advanced Interventions Service, Dundee, said the study is not suitable to answer the questions researchers wanted to ask.

He said: “Most of the trials reported varied in the type of drug used, the dose, duration and the mechanisms of reporting harms.

“Importantly, the study only identified emergent harms that are associated (directly or indirectly) with suicide and violence.

“It didn’t identify a higher rate of these outcomes from the studies they used.”

The study was published today by the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine.

1991 FDA Antidepressant Hearing: Le Anne Westover Testifies of Husband Del Shannon’s Prozac Suicide

Le Anne Westover - Dell Shannon

Le Anne Westover & Husband, Charles (Del Shannon)

Everyone needs to hear these testimonies presented to the FDA in September of 1991 on the subject antidepressants causing suicide and violence. The FDA chose to ignore these testimonies that day leading to many more deaths since. My dear friend featured here, Le Anne Westover, lost her husband Charles, also known as the popular singer Del Shannon, in only two weeks to a violent Prozac-induced suicide. His senseless death, along with so many others documented both in these testimonies and this database www.ssristories.NET should NEVER be forgotten!!!

Please listen to Le Anne’s testimony here:
https://youtu.be/FiF4Pd6rat8

The following is a transcript of LeAnne’s testimony to the FDA that day:

DR. CASEY: Next is Mrs. Del Shannon, please.

MS. SHANNON: Lee Ann Westover.

DR. CASEY: Excuse me, are you Mrs. Del Shannon?

MS. SHANNON: I am Mrs. Del Shannon, yes. I am the widow Del Shannon. My husband 1990. On the evening of of Charles Westover, also known as was given Prozac on January 24 of February 8, 1990, he killed himself. I am told his death was instantaneous, but I believe his death actually began the moment he took his first dose of Prozac.

Before Prozac, my husband was very involved with people, our family, and his work. He was very much in charge of his business. But within days after he started taking Prozac I noticed a personality change in him. He showed signs of restlessness, akathisia, agitation, pacing, and his appearance was very drawn. He developed severe insomnia, extreme fatigue, chills, racing heart, dry mouth, and upset stomach. His hands would shake uncontrollably at times.

This really alarmed him. I would ask him what was wrong and his only reply was, “I don’t know, I don’t know.”

At this time my husband’s career was better than ever. He was just finishing a new album and was at his utmost creative peak. Many good things were happening in his life.

On January 24, he saw a doctor for counseling, as changes were happening rapidly. Due to these changes, he went to a doctor because he was experiencing some stress. He was given Prozac. Two weeks later I found him dead in our home. He told me, when he came home from the doctor, that he was given a new drug, “It’s not even a drug, it’s a chemical, it’s very safe. It’s supposed to help me over the hump I’m in.” The drug was Prozac.

Charles was very much against suicide. He counseled people against suicide. To him, and I quote “Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.” I want you to know suicide was totally out of character for my husband.

There was no note. The day he died he had made appointments for afternoon and evening. He had booked future and no kiss goodbye.

On February 8, my daughter and I were going to the market. He asked for some vitamins and other items that he wanted from the market. He kissed me, smiled, and we said, “See you later.” There was absolutely no warning of suicide or anything violent.

I know with absolute certainty that if Charles had any idea of the side effects of Prozac he would never have taken it. This drug is most assuredly responsible for any torment or suffering and the eventual suicide of my husband. I want people to be aware of what can happen when you take this drug Prozac.

Thank you.

DR CASEY : Thank you.

Rest in Peace Del…you are not forgotten!

1991 FDA Antidepressant Hearing: Suicide & Suicide Attempt by Pharmacist Maria Malakoff

Maria Malakoff

Maria warned back in 1991 that the day would come that every family in America would be affected by antidepressants if the FDA did not issue warnings. Tragically her statement has proved prophetic!

I would like to introduce you to my dear friend Maria Malakoff. Everyone needs to hear her testimony. Maria and her husband Gary were both pharmacists. Both were placed on Prozac about the same time for different reasons. Maria first attempted suicide on Prozac, stopped the drug, and began warning Gary of the dangers. He thought he was fine until one day out of the blue he stood in front of her and their four children while they were watching TV, and shot himself. Their full story can be found in the book Prozac: Panacea or Pandora? available at www.drugawareness.org

Antidepressant-Induced Alzheimer’s and Memory Loss

sandy bem

Scientist Sandy Bem

According to the following NY Times Magazine article had been on a low dose of antidepressants for years before being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. She determined upon learning about the diagnosis that she would take her own life before her brain function became so compromised that she no longer could tell who she was.

Is there a connection? Certainly we know there is a connection to the suicidal thoughts with antidepressants, but what about the Alzheimer’s?

Antidepressant-Induced Alzheimer’s and Memory Loss

See the information below and you should easily be able to answer that question. [Also keep in mind that I have heard of a “low dose” of an antidepressant used to describe the maximum dose of the drug…that is a key phrase doctors use to pacifiy a patient’s concerns.]

I think you will see why one of the Facebook groups I just opened is titled Antidepressant-Induced Alzheimer’s and Memory Loss and can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1448649102099201/

The drug would have produced the symptoms of Alzheimers and suicide. PS It was included in my book on these drugs back in 1994 when it first came out. Remember the elevated serotonin which produced the mitral valve prolapse with the serotonergic diet pills Fen-Phen and Redux. The researcher who found the heart damage with Fen-Phen and Redux, Dr. Heidi Connoly from Mayo, said she found that it was the elevated serotonin produced by the drugs that produced the gummy gooey glossey substance that builds up on the valve to keep it from closing properly.

Well since Alzheimers has long been known to be a state of elevated serotonin as well should we not also expect elevated serotonin produced by any serotonergic medication to produce the same gummy, gooey, glossy substance to build up in the brain as they explain happens in Alzheimers? Of course we should!!!

In fact the real reason the serotonergic diet pills were pulled from the market was brain damage rather than the heart valve damage. A year before Wyeth had been told by the FDA of their concerns about possible brain damage with Redux and even though they approved Redux they wanted further research on possible brain damage with the drug. When concerns were brought to light on the heart valve problems the spotlight was also shown on the brain damage issue since it was learned that Wyeth had never followed through with doing that additional research on that. Plus Una McCann from the National Institutes of Health had just published new research demonstrating some of the most shocking brain damage ever with these drugs.

Please see this 2009 post on Utah, long leading the way in America in the use of antidepressants, was found to be #2 in the nation in the incidence of Alzheimers’ as I discuss the case of my dear friends, Robert Redford’s ex-inlaws:

ANTIDEPRESSANT: Grandmother Cuts Grandbaby’s Throat With Circular Saw

GrandmaStab-CST-031115

Manuela Rodriquez

“Family members told authorities that Rodriguez, who had been taking care of the child in a house in the 2800 block of South Avers, had been taking antidepressant medication.”

As you can see from the picture of Manuela she obviously attempted to take her own life as well by cutting her own throat. So this was a murder/suicide attempt.

The autopsy yesterday determined the following:

The infant “died of blunt-force injuries to the head, with suffocation from a sock being placed in her m”outh a contributing factor. Her death was ruled a homicide.”

Additionally … “A police source said Rodriguez stuffed a sock in the girl’s mouth, struck her in the head with a pipe wrench, then cut her neck and shoulder with the circular saw. She then cut her own neck with the saw.

“She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with the self-inflicted wounds, police said. Her condition had stabilized.”

Before the SSRIs and SNRIs hit the market it was extremely rare to ever hear of a mother killing a child but grandmothers killing a grandchild was unheard of before these drugs……and especially as violent as these cases are! I have never been capable of watching a horror movie…..yet for 25 years now I have been documenting the reality horror movie we live in at www.ssristories.NET How horrific does this drug-induced nightmare need to become before we wake up to the cause and do something about it?!!!!

As I asked yesterday morning when they were not even admitting yet who the person was who did this, “Is this another grandmother who has killed her grandbaby in such a horrific manner?!!!!!!! It is much too similar to this case from just a year and a half ago”: http://www.drugawareness.org/grandmother-kills-infant…/

Research has shown for decades that when you inhibit or impair serotonin metabolism you INCREASE serotonin (exactly what antidepressants are designed to do!!!!) that increase in serotonin produces not only suicide, but very violent suicide and violent crime. Here are just a couple of references:

I am grateful that the Chicago Sun Times still has an air of correct reporting after my dear friend Barbara Mularkey (whose part was played by Julia Roberts with Nick Nolte in the movie about Barbara “I Love Trouble” about her uncovering the Bovine Growth Hormone in milk – a cancer causing chemical) worked as an investigative reporter for many years. If more news media would just report the facts the public would be better informed of the dangers of these deadly drugs!

Robin Williams: What No One Is Willing to Talk About (But us!)

Robin Williams3

Robin Williams – What No One Is Willing to Talk About

This is an excellent video I would encourage everyone to watch! I am sorry I did not get it out days ago, but with the death of my own mother following Robin Williams death by only three days, I am a little behind schedule.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiUeOLfV5z8

The following is my posted comment on this video:

“Excellent presentation of the data! I say that after 25 years of specializing in antidepressant adverse reactions, testifying in court cases involving the drugs, writing a large text on these drugs, Prozac: Panacea or Pandora? – Our Serotonin Nightmare, and gathering approximately 5000 cases (including most all of the school shootings and mass shootings) documented as involving antidepressants found at www.ssristories.net

“The hypothesis behind these drugs is backwards. Serotonin is NOT low in depression, but elevated and I can prove that via expert witness testimony by drug company experts themselves. Antidepressants not only cause suicide, they cause murder as well and yes that is documented in court testimony as well (check Tobin vs Glaxo Smith Kline). They often produce this by triggering REM Sleep Disorder (RBD), where you act out nightmares and well known for the potential to produce both murder and suicide. Shockingly 86% of those being diagnosed with this disorder are currently on an antidepressant. Since RBD was known in the past as mainly a drug withdrawal state we should have far stronger warnings about antidepressant withdrawal! Thank you for this!

“And as for why no one wants to talk about this….when I did the Leeza Gibbons Show in 1999, just two years after drug companies were allowed to begin advertising their prescription drugs, they made that answer very clear. As we stepped on the stage to discuss the alarming number of mothers killing their children while on antidepressants we were told we could use the word “antidepressant” but we could not use the brand names of the drugs “because of our advertisers.” If the advertisers are the ones deciding what you can and cannot hear and the main advertisers are drug companies do you really think you will hear this on mainstream media?”

Video: Marlon Wayans: Antidepressants may have caused Robin Williams’ suicide

Marlon Wayans

Marlon Wayans

Antidepressants may have caused Robin Williams suicide

Just in from our Washington State Director of ICFDA and my comment is:

“After specializing in adverse reactions to antidepressants and testifying in cases for almost 25 years I will say Marlon is exactly right. In fact I and our organization, The International Coalition for Drug Awareness, put together a database of about 5000 cases at www.ssristories.net which has been used in medical studies to discuss this reaction involving suicide as well as murder.

“In Robin’s case I fear it may have been a reaction to the drugs known as a REM Sleep Disorder (RBD) where you act out nightmares in a sleep state. Of those being diagnosed with RBD 86% of the patients are currently taking an antidepressant. Murder and suicide have both been seen in RBD. But before these drugs RBD was known mainly as a drug withdrawal state. And with Robin recently in rehab it is far too likely that there were medication changes going on which can trigger these reactions.

“Such a tragic loss for us all! When will the world wake up to the dangers of these deadly drugs?!

“When I was the expert in comedian Phil Hartman’s death and we got a wrongful death settlement for both his and his wife’s deaths I thought that might wake up the world, but no one even paid any attention. Hopefully in Robin’s passing it will wake up the world and save many lives! But what a terrible price to pay in order to learn this!”

ANTIDEPRESSANT?? Another Great Comedian, Robin Williams, Lost to Suicide or Murder by Prescription?

Robin WilliamsRobin Williams 1951 – 2014

The question remains…HOW MANY MEDS CAN ONE TAKE WITH SUICIDE WARNINGS BEFORE THE SYNERGISTIC EFFECTS PRODUCE SUICIDE WHEN WARNINGS INDICATE ONLY ONE IS ENOUGH TO PRODUCE SUICIDE???

From the  Levadopa package insert warnings we read: “All patients should be observed carefully for the development of depression with concomitant suicidal tendencies”

Of course this same warning comes with “any antidepressant ever approved by the FDA or any antidepressant to ever be approved by the FDA in the future” ….. the wording of such a comprehensive warning still rings in my ears as I stood in anticipation to hear the conclusion of the FDA Advisory Committee a decade ago. Sadly that warning was not comprehensive enough to save one of America’s most beloved comedians.

Today the toxicology confirmed all I said – statements I got a lot of flack for even from those who are suppose to know how deadly these antidepressants are! Several of Robin’s close friends have also said they thought these drugs caused his suicide. Now, according to the article below, we know that Robin Williams was on THREE prescription drugs that carry suicide as a warning!!! He was taking two antidepressants (antidepressants should never be given together due to the toxic effects of doing so) along with an anti-Parkinson drug also known to produce suicide as a side effect.

The day of Robin Williams death I posted the following blog post. He was taking two antidepressants, which should never be given together, along with an anti-Parkinson drug also known to produce suicide as a side effect.

Just how much did they think he was capable of warding off those powerful mind altering effects?! After working these cases for 25 years I would say his family should not even hesitate in filing a wrongful death case in his behalf! He would not have had a chance on that combination of drugs! “Williams had two types of antidepressants in his system when he died, as well as a Parkinson’s medication, caffeine and another ingredient found in tea and cocoa, the autopsy found.”

In 1998 the world lost comedian Phil Hartman in a tragic murder/suicide. Pfizer, the makers of Zoloft, settled a wrongful death suit for their deaths brought against them by the Hartman children, Sean and Birgin. We also came too close to losing Jim Carey and Roseanne Barr to the same medications that took Phil from us – antidepressants. But just how similar was Robin William’s situation to that of singer Del Shannon who was lost to antidepressants in 1990?

Del Shannon (Charles Westover) died February 8, 1990. February 26, 1990 People ran a ridiculous article titled “Singer Del Shoots Himself, Leaving Others to Wonder Why He Ran Away” It went on to say, “For now, Shannon’s family and friends, like the character in the singer’s most famous song, can only wonder why.”

In September of 1991 I met Del’s wife, Lee Anne, after she had learned why she lost Del. We became fast friends when we both testified before the FDA Advisory Committee on Prozac induced suicide. We were to later learn that the members of that committee had major vested interests in the millions but were allowed to sign wavers stating that those funds would not influence their vote that day. And so the committee reassured the world that Prozac was not causing suicides as they ran home to count their money coming in from the drug makers.

From the beginning Del’s wife believed her husband’s death must have been an accident. “Del was too loving, too considerate a person to do something like this,” she says. “He would never do it, knowing it would hurt those who loved him.”

By the time we met a year and a half later she had learned his death was murder, pre-meditated murder via Prozac with the culpable parties being Eli Lilly and his family physician. Del’s career was beginning to really take off again and he was quickly reaching burn out. So he had gone to his family doctor who suggested Prozac. After going very holistic to beat a previous alcohol addiction Del refused the prescription because he did not want to use chemicals of any kind any longer. So the doctor told him that Prozac was not a chemical, but a mineral he was missing! Three weeks later he shot himself after kissing his wife as she left for the grocery store.

The People magazine article addressed his previous drinking problem: “When I was 20, I was drinking,” Shannon told the Los Angeles Times last year. “When I was 30, I was drinking more, and at 40, way too much.”

The one major issue that caught my attention in 1990 with this first SSRI antidepressant, Prozac, the mother of all SSRI and SNRI antidepressants, was the compulsion to drink alcohol. Living in Salt Lake City at the time I watched Mormons raised without any alcohol become staggering alcoholics almost overnight when given Prozac. Then as Zoloft was introduced we found it to be doing the same and such has been the case with all of these serotonergic medications since then. Someone who has a problem with alcohol should NEVER be given an antidepressant because of the potential of these drugs to produce these overwhelming cravings for alcohol!

Did Del’s use of Prozac bring those cravings for alcohol back making him think he could never overcome his addiction that he was so sure he had beaten leading him to lose all hope? The possibility is a strong one with more recent studies showing that almost half of those who take SSRIs after a problem with alcohol will INCREASE their drinking. Del’s wife did file a wrongful death suit and I have no doubt in my own mind (for many varied reasons) that case was settled by Eli Lilly and the doctor who lied to Del.

According to reports Robin Williams had recently been dealing with alcohol problems and went into rehab. Rehabs are notorious for prescribing antidepressants! I would hope his family would persue this and look for what really happened to Robin. If an antidepressant had been consumed this was not a suicide, but a premeditated murder! Warnings should be given for those who have had problems with alcohol or drugs in the past.

As for the Parkinson’s he was diagnosed with, I have no doubt that was caused by the antidepressants they had given him because Parkinson’s symptoms were the very first adverse reactions seen with the mother drug of all these antidepressants, Prozac. Antidepressants can cause all kinds of movement disorders, the worst being akathisia which is a Greek term meaning “can’t sit still.” It is also known to trigger suicide.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Robin Williams’ autopsy found no alcohol or illegal drugs were in his body when he killed himself at his Northern California home in August, sheriff’s officials said Friday.

The results released by the Marin County sheriff’s office found that the actor had taken prescription medications, but in “therapeutic concentrations.”

The coroner ruled Williams’ death a suicide that resulted from asphyxia due to hanging.

Sheriff’s officials have said Williams was found in the bedroom of his home in Tiburon on the morning of Aug. 11. His death had been preliminarily ruled a suicide, with sheriff’s officials saying he hanged himself with a belt.

Williams’ wife, Susan Schneider, has said the actor and comedian was struggling with depression, anxiety and a recent Parkinson’s diagnosis when his personal assistant found him dead.

Williams had publicly acknowledged periodic struggles with substance abuse, and he had entered a substance abuse program shortly before his death. According to the coroner’s report, his wife told an investigator Williams did not go there because of recent drug or alcohol abuse, but rather to reaffirm the principles of his rehabilitation.

According to his wife, Williams was having trouble sleeping and had shown increased signs of paranoia before he committed suicide, the autopsy report said. Medical records confirmed he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in November 2013 but had symptoms since 2011, including a left arm tremor and the slowing of left hand movements. Treatments with drugs in May 2014 led to some improvement, according to the report, and he remained physically active until his death.

Williams had two types of antidepressants in his system when he died, as well as a Parkinson’s medication, caffeine and another ingredient found in tea and cocoa, the autopsy found.

Authorities have said Williams was last seen alive by his wife when she went to bed the night of Aug. 10. She woke up the next morning and left, thinking he was still asleep elsewhere in the house.

Shortly after that, Williams’ assistant came to the home and became concerned when he failed to respond to knocks at a door. The assistant found the 63-year-old actor in a bedroom, according to sheriff’s officials.

Williams also had superficial cuts on his wrist, and a pocketknife was found nearby.

The results of Williams’ autopsy, including the toxicology tests, were originally slated to be released Sept. 20. Marin County officials later announced a Nov. 3 release date, but the report was further delayed. Toxicology reports routinely take up to six weeks to complete.

Senate Hearing: Medical Errors Are Third Leading Cause of Death???

Third Leading Cause of Death – Medical Errors

and When You Add In Medications How High Is The Toll Really?

July 17, 2014 the US Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, & Pensions held a hearing on the number of deaths caused by preventable medical errors.

http://www.sanders.senate.gov/newsroom/medical-mistakes

C-SPAN has a video of those Senate hearings posted here… http://www.help.senate.gov/hearings/hearing/

But before going to those links if you will go to our website to read our mission statement at http://www.drugawareness.org/mission/ you will see how long this situation has been going on and find a link to a study done by pharmacists who were tired of seeing patients die from the drugs they were handing out. They found that the Third Leading Cause of Death in America is “properly prescribed prescription drugs” (prescribed according to what the FDA has judged to be “safe and effective”.) This is a study done in 1995 so you can imagine how much worse it would be by now. If you add that together with these deaths plus add in the medication-induced heart attacks and medication-induced cancer and medication-induced suicides you will find medical treatment to be the leading cause of death in America!

To all that add to it the warning from Dr. John Ioannidis, the world’s leading expert on medical research, who says that 90% of medical research is now tainted or just plain bogus and that he fears that medical science will not be able to survive this. http://www.drugawareness.org/recentcasesblog/lies-damned-lies-and-medical-science

From all this information the lesson seems clear…Keep your loved ones away from doctors and nurses and their treatments!!!
