A BALLARAT woman has admitted to trying to kill her elderly
mother at a nursing home by stopping her from breathing.

Clark, 51, yesterday pleaded guilty in Ballarat Magistrates Court to one count
of attempted murder.
An architect has
been accused of attempting to smother his wife after she asked for a
divorce.
Clive Wille of Croydon based practice PCL, held his wife down on
their bed at the couple’s home in south London and attempted to smother her with
a pillow, jurors at the Old Bailey were told on Monday
MANCHESTER – Melissa Charbonneau wanted a divorce.
She made it
official on Wednesday, filing two petitions at Hillsborough Superior Court: one
to end the marriage, and another alleging her husband, Jonathan Charbonneau, had
thrown her down a staircase, climbed on top of her and choked her.
A day
later, friends and neighbors said, Melissa Charbonneau, 29, was dead, shot to
death by her husband about 2 p.m. yesterday.
Geraldine Calvey, 45, died after throwing herself from the
ninth floor of a tower block in the Regent’s Park estate off Euston Road in
July.

Chambers, Housworth admitted to spitting on correctional officers at the prison
and the Reno County jail in 2007.
He admitted to attacking a fellow
inmate at the Reno County jail in April 2008, hitting him and biting his cheek.
A SECURITY guard hit by a train
on a Bolton railway line was identified by his DNA.
An inquest jury
recorded an open verdict on Mohammed Younis Khan, aged 46, whose remains were
found on April 10, the morning after a train driver reported hitting something
in the dark at Gilnow, half a mile from Bolton Station.
Lindsay Lohan’s family is planning to stage an intervention.
