ZOLOFT DOUBLED THEN TRIPLED BEFORE BATMAN SHOOTING IN COLORADO

THE FULLY UNINFORMED JURY IN JAMES HOLMES CASE

In this country we believe that a jury should be fully informed in order to produce justice in a case. But this past week a completely uninformed Colorado jury found James Holmes sane, rather than insane (in spite of testimony from experts and anyone who can see what “crazy” looks like), and they found him guilty of murder. Now this same uninformed jury has said that the death penalty should be an option. I will say that in 25 years of testifying in antidepressant-induced criminal cases I have RARELY seen a fully informed jury. Wonder why?

You see drug companies not only wine and dine the doctors peddling their drugs but they also wine and dine judges. The purpose in that? Simple. If the people who commit these crimes under the influence of their antidepressants are found guilty this removes the spotlight from their drug thus keeping their drug on the market continuing to bring in millions. It also prevents wrongful death suits being filed against the drug maker for the victims of the crimes. So in the long run the bottom line is greatly protected which is always the goal.

Now this fully uninformed jury is about the decide if this young man is now to be put to death for the crime he committed on Zoloft and Klonopin. Did the jury ever hear that the Zoloft or Klonopin could produce psychosis and when psychosis is chemically induced it is generally transitory, meaning it comes and goes depending upon the body’s ability to manage the toxicity? Obviously not. Did the jury ever hear that when you increase sertonin via an inability to metabolize serotonin – exactly how antidepressants work – it is known to produce impulsive murder and suicide? No. Did the jury ever hear that the arresting officer reported that he had never arrested anyone with so much sweat pouring off his body, which indicates Serotonin Syndrome – a toxic level of serotonin. Serotonin Syndrome does not only fry the brain, but can actually kill a patient within a 24 hour period? No, they heard no evidence on that either!

Was James Holmes’ attorney aware of any of this so that he could introduce it in court? Yes! I supplied James Holmes’ attorney with this information that should have been introduced in this case as a defense for James Holmes and would have brought answers for the families of the victims and for society as a whole.

DOSAGE INCREASES

But even more shocking that I only recently heard myself is that when James complained of having homicidal thoughts his dose of Zoloft was first doubled and then when he continued to complain of the homicidal compulsions (a known side effect of antidepressants and referred to as “homicidal ideation”) his dose of Zoloft was TRIPLED about a month before the shooting! This information is from a new book out on the case called “The Sprial Notebook” and without doubt should have been used to show involuntary intoxication in this case!

SIMILARITIES TO COLUMBINE

This last week I attended the premiere of the movie I am in called American Addict 2 – The Big Lie. In that movie there is a video clip of James Holmes which I watched within a couple of hours after hearing the guilty verdict in his case. Everyone should see it. It is James giving a lecture and interacting with the person introducing him. You will see a perfectly normal young man with a great sense of humor, obviously very bright and very cordial. In viewing that it is easy to see how rapidly these antidepressant drugs can take someone who is normal into a complete psychosis via the increase in serotonin which is what LSD and PCP mimic to produce hallucinations/psychosis.

Ironically this entire scenario is little different than the case of Eric Harris at Columbine. Eric was first started on Zoloft and after only six weeks on it reported homicidal thoughts that frightened him. His doctors, to their credit, at least knew enough to get him off Zoloft. (So what did they think was causing the homicidal compulsions?) Tragically they thought if they spelled the name of the SSRI antidepressant differently that the reactions would change! Go figure! So given Luvox Eric went on to act on the homicidal ideation he got from these antidepressant drugs. And he did so a month or two after a doubling of his dose of Luvox. Homicidal ideation is compulsive thoughts and actions of killing and methods of killing. And I am still asking why we as a society continue to believe that it is okay to have prescription medications on the market that can cause either homicial or suicidal ideations?!

ANTIDEPRESSANTS PRODUCE A DEADLY SLEEP DISORDER

KNOWN TO INCLUDE BOTH MURDER AND SUICIDE

What the world remains unaware of is the fact is that 86% of those who are diagnosed with the most deadly sleep disorder known as REM Sleep Disorder (RBD) are currently taking antidepressants. REM Sleep Disorder is a condition in which there is no paralysis during sleep thus allowing the patient to act out the dreams or nightmares they are having. Tragically 80% of those going into this sleep disorder hurt themselves or others including both murder and suicide as a result.

This is possibly the most deadly of all reactions one can have to antidepressants. Even more frightening though is to learn that before the introduction of the SSRI antidepressants RBD was known mainly as a drug withdrawal effect. Thus the chances of going into this dangerous reaction should be expected to increase as one goes into withdrawal. This is why it is so important to avoid as much of the withdrawal effects as possible by tapering off the antidepressant very, very slowly.

EXCESS SEROTONIN PRODUCES EXTREME VIOLENCE

What so many were not aware of is that an increase in serotonin by an accompanying decrease in one’s ability to metabolize serotonin has long been known to produce both impulsive murder and suicide coupled with extreme out of character violence. See this study out of the University of Southern California which makes it very clear that the key to human violence is triggered by an excess of serotonin:  http://www.drugawareness.org/mutant-mice-key-to-human-violence-an-excess-serotonin/

ANTIDEPRESSANTS: MOTHERS KILLING THEIR CHILDREN – LEEZA GIBBONS SHOW

Leeza Gibbons

EPIDEMIC OF MOTHERS (AND NOW GRANDMOTHERS!) KILLING CHILDREN

Leeza Gibbons with Dr. Ann Blake-Tracy addresses the issue of mothers on antidepressants killing their children. Cases discussed: Robert Kirkwood whose wife killed their two small children and herself while on Effexor. Christina Riggs, a nurse whose case is featured here being interviewed from prison, was on Amitriptyline (Elavil) when she killed her two small children. She was not successful in her own suicide attempt, but the state of Arkansas completed that suicide for her after she refused to appeal or do anything else to defend herself so they would kill her. Be sure to read the science below about how antidepressants cause this type of completely out of character violence.

In the early 1990’s the world began to see something they had rarely seen before – an epidemic of mothers killing their children and doing so by more and more violent methods. Those around them were generally in shock by these actions and the one main common denominator was the use of an antidepressant by the mother who had killed her children. These were often described as the very best and most caring mothers. No one could believe what they were seeing. In the summer of 1999 Leeza Gibbons agreed to do a show on this issue even though we were not allowed to mention the brand names of the medications because of their advertisers. Now that drug company advertising is so prolific you see no shows like this any longer. Watch the full show here:

CHATTANOOGA SHOOTER: ON ANTIDEPRESSANTS, SLEEPING PILLS, MUSCLE RELAXANTS

chattanooga shooter

CHATTANOOGA SHOOTER, Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez, 24

Thanks to our Washington state director Jay Baadsgaard for this information from the Wall Street Journal and thanks to everyone else for sending all the other clues. As if anyone should be surprised to find these drugs at this point…..

5th paragraph reads:
“Mr. Abdulazeez, who was killed Thursday by police after they said he had opened fire at two military facilities, suffered from depression for years, his family said in a statement. He had been on and off various medications, including antidepressants and sleeping pills, a family representative said. At the time of the shooting he was taking muscle relaxants for back pain resulting from his martial-arts training, the friend said.”

TERRORISM IN THIS CASE? THE FIRST BOY SHOT AT COLUMBINE TELLS THE FDA WHERE TO FIND TERRORISTS!

http://www.drugawareness.org/mark-taylors-testimony-before-the-fda-9132004/

EXCESS SEROTONIN PRODUCES VIOLENCE

For decades I have worked to explain that the hypothesis behind antidepressants is backwards – serotonin is NOT low in depression, it is elevated instead. The research is very clear on that if anyone would bother to read it. I have 21 pages of references to that research in small print to it back up. Impairing ones’ ability to metabolize serotonin, as antidepressants are designed to do, causes massive problems which you can listent to me detail to the FDA in 2004 before the Black Box Warning for suicide was added to ALL antidepressant medications ever approved by the FDA and any they might approve in the future:

http://www.drugawareness.org/dr-ann-blake-tracys-september-13-2004-to-the-fda/

Some of the research that makes it more clear than most is that done at the University of Southern California by Dr. Jean Chen Shih on mutant mice born lacking the MAO enzyme which metabolizes serotonin:

ANTIDEPRESSANTS: Prince Charles Fights for Alternative Treatment for Depression, Chronic Pain, IBS, etc.

Of all those in high profile positions who have suffered some of the worst antidepressant adverse reactions ever while it all remained basically unknown both to the family and the public it is Prince Charles and Princess Diana, so I am very pleased to see Charles making the statement supporting alternatives!

Prince-Charles

Prince Charles Fights for Alternative Treatments

Prince Charles wrote: “The only reason I persist in my efforts over integrated healthcare – despite waves of invective over the years from parts of the Medical and Scientific Establishments – is because I cannot bear people suffering unnecessarily when a complimentary approach could make a real difference.”

He went on to suggest illness should be treated with a “whole person approach” rather than a “reductionist focus on the particular ailment.”

He suggested alternative remedies could be used to treat “effectiveness gaps” in mainstream medicine, especially with:

musculoskeletal problems
depression
eczema
chronic pain
irritable bowel syndrome

The Truth About the Royal Divorce

I think every woman on the planet must have watched the fairy tail wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. It was beautiful and they seemed so very happy that day. So it pained me greatly to witness what happened to the entire Royal family when Princess Di was given Prozac to cope with Postpartum Depression.

Here is the official drug company version of what happened to Diana which is straight from their front group – NAMI’s website [see this to learn the drug industry/NAMI connection: http://www.drugawareness.org/senator-grassleys-probe-discovered-nami-is-funded-81-by-pharmaceuticals/] where they blame everything on the so called “mental illnesses” Diana suffered which they are actually causing with their antidepressants. How sad and tragic the entire situation was for Charles, Diana, and their sons who were growing up believing their births were what caused their mother so many issues rather than Prozac driving her crazy!

“… Diana suffered post-partum depression after giving birth to Prince William, which she described in an interview with the BBC in 1995.”

…Diana struggled with bulimia and self-harm, both [side effects of Prozac and other antidepressants] coping mechanisms due to the stress of her marriage, as well as the pressure of being thrust into the public eye. She was constantly hounded by the paparazzi and the details around her loveless marriage were public knowledge.

“You have so much pain inside yourself that you try and hurt yourself on the outside because you want help, but it’s the wrong help you’re asking for,” Diana said. “I was actually crying out because I wanted to get better in order to go forward and continue my duty and my role as wife, mother, Princess of Wales. [Because we have LONG called antidepressants the “Divorce Pills” Diana was being given the very thing that would destroy what her goals were: “to go forward and continue my duty and my role as wife, mother, Princess of Wales.”]

“So yes, I did inflict upon myself. I didn’t like myself, I was ashamed because I couldn’t cope with the pressures.”

“Diana’s bouts of depression, eating disorders and self-harm surrounded her with stigma. She was called unstable, attention-seeking and crazy in the press.

“(My self-harm and depression) gave everybody a wonderful new label: Diana’s unstable and Diana’s mentally unbalanced,” she told the BBC.”

[When, in fact, it was the Prozac’s increasing of serotonin levels that was making her appear crazy and to self harm. Serotonin is what LSD and PCP mimic in order to produce hallucinations and psychotic breaks. In fact the chances of psychosis with Prozac are TEN times higher than the rate of psychosis from Postpartum!]

Original article: http://www2.nami.org/Content/NavigationMenu/Not_Alone/Princess_Diana.htm

After suffering such serious reactions to Prozac as serious as throwing herself down stairs she also went on international television accusing Charles of things I am sure were a shock to him to hear. (as so many other husbands and wives of those on antidepressants have been falsely accused of everything that has happened in the lives of their mates who are taking antidepressants). The extremely vivid nightmares which patients cannot distinguish between the nightmare and reality begin to become a part of their new drug-induced reality and as Kramer points out in Listening to Prozac – the drug rewrites your history and turns “molehills into mountains” in your life – just what someone who is depressed needs, right?!

All the bulimia, self harm, false allegations, and divorce can be traced right back to Diana’s Prozac use far more than everything else it was all attributed to. So concerned was I about her with so many serious reactions coupled with the increase in adverse reactions her head injuries she must have suffered in the falls would bring on, that I feared her own use of Prozac, rather than someone else’s use of Prozac, would be the cause of her death. But thankfully Diana was also very much into alternative treatments and used essential aromatherapy oils to help her with her depression which I am sure helped to counter the negative effects of the medication. She may have also been using homeopath treatments as well.

Knowing what I know about the accusations made by those on these medications I saw right through Diana’s BBC interview and could only empathize with poor Charles since unlike most wives, she was in a position to make these allegations to the world. How much of it all was true lies to be seen, but when I have heard the exact same things repeated over and over and over again by those on antidepressants and then proven false in the end and have them recant those accusations after coming off the medications (something Diana never had a chance to do) I will stand on the side of those allegations being unfounded.

Besides that I knew something of Charles’ character because I dated an incredible young doctor from Austria who had just spent a week as the honored guest at Buckingham Palace just before I met him and we began to date. He was being honored for his work by coming to spend a week with Charles. He had nothing but good to say about him. He was extremely impressed with him as a person and with his great intellect. As well as I know this doctor I know him to have incredible insight into others and have never had any reason to doubt what he shared with me about Charles and his character.

Tragically Diana lost her life to Prozac when her driver,Henri Paul, suffered out of character compulsions for alcohol on the drug. Although described by all who knew him as a non-drinker on Prozac Henri began to drink to the point that he was treated with a medication to help him stop drinking and his blood alcohol at the time of the accident was three times the legal limit!

The compulsions for alcohol were the first thing to catch my attention with Prozac as I witnessed over and over non-drinkers becoming alcoholic almost overnight when placed on antidepressants. [You can read about the serotonin-induced alcohol compulsions here: http://www.drugawareness.org/ssris-and-alcohol/] So I called the police in Paris and told them I had no doubt that the driver was indeed on Prozac and they should check. A week later the police made the public statement that they had found that Henri Paul was on Prozac at the time of the crash. The truth is that it was Prozac that destroyed Princess Di’s life and robbed her of life itself in the end!

ANTIDEPRESSANTS: HOW HIGH A TOLL HAVE THEY TAKEN?

Don Grady, of My Three Son’s

Three years ago yesterday the world lost someone many of us women fell in love with as kids. He was someone I was suppose to go to my college prom with in the early 70’s, a wonderful young man that most people only saw on television as Robbie, the oldest son in the TV series My Three Sons.

While living in Southern California I became close friends with Don’s agents, an older couple, who decided to play matchmakers and set us up for the prom. As it ended up it never happened because he had to cancel at the last minute due to an unexpected opportunity for a gig in France. After being elected the “Most Bashful” in my senior year in high school, I was so relieved something had come up for Don because honestly had he actually shown up at my door I would have fainted dead away! 🙂 🙂

But Don was a super nice guy, very much the type of person he played in the role of Robbie on My Three Son’s. You likely would have remembered him better in this picture:

Don Grady my 3 sons

Cast of My Three Sons

On June 28, 2012, Don died from cancer in a town I grew to love like my home, Thousand Oaks, CA.

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/29/arts/television/don-grady-robbie-on-my-three-sons-dies-at-68.html

So why am I telling you about Don on the third anniversary of his death? It is because I have people ask me all the time how many people I know who have died on antidepressants or killed someone on antidepressants or committed suicide on antidepressants. So I have decided to answer that question here.

Maria-Malakoff

Just two weeks ago I sent out the testimony of a friend of mine who is a pharmacist who attempted suicide on Prozac and then her husband, also a pharmacist and also on Prozac, walked into their TV room and shot himself in front of Maria and their four children while they were watching TV. Maria made the statement that the day would come that every family in America would be affected by these deadly drugs that she refused to call “medications.”

So, as I think through all those I know, I am going to list just a few. Right after I sent out Maria’s story I sent you my friend Le Anne Westover, Del Shannon’s widow’s tragic story of her husband’s suicide. Then Tucker Moneymaker’s story of his wife killing their two sons and shooting herself, and I have many more to send to you as well because my list is VERY, VERY LONG.

Now did Don Grady die on an antidepressant? No. But his family was affected too as he did lose his sister to these drugs about a decade before his own death. That was his sister Lani O’Grady who died of an overdose of Prozac and the pain killer Vicodin. If her name sounds familiar it is because she starred for years as the older sister in the hit TV series Eight is Enough. I only wish I had known sooner that this was going on in Don’s sister’s life so as to have been a help to them in learning the truth behind what was causing this nightmare in their lives so we could have prevented her death.

Lani O'Grady

Lani O’Grady

The documentation of Lani’s death on high doses of Prozac and Vicodin can be found in our database of cases at www.ssristories.NET at the following link:

ssristories.net/archive/showdd43.html?item=2675

From other articles we learn more of the antidepressant hell Lani and her family lived through including her sudden and unexpected death at such a young age: “In the years after the show O’Grady bounced in and out of rehab. She was clean at her death, says her mother, taking only an antidepressant and an antiseizure medication (an earlier antidepressant had left her with recurring seizures).”

And this article in People Magazine quotes her mother about the struggle she had with addiction to various prescription medications yet how happy she was before her death and looking forward to the future: http://www.people.com/people/archive/article/0,,20135461,00.html

October 15, 2001 Vol. 56 No. 16 Family Tragedy
In the Years After Eight Is Enough, Actress Lani O’Grady Struggled to Overcome the Damage Done by Addiction

Hobbled by addictions in the years since she was a member of one of TV’s happiest families, Eight Is Enough’s Lani O’Grady was ready for some real-world domestic bliss. On Sept. 24 she baked muffins in her Valencia, Calif., trailer home and told her mother she was thinking of getting a puppy. “She said, ‘Oh, I love my little home,’ ” says Mary Grady, a children’s talent agent. “It was the most serene tone I’d heard in her in years.”

Everyone needs to stop and think just how many they know personally who have lost their lives to these drugs because I think everyone would be shocked to come to the realization of how very high the toll has been. As I have said my list is much too long to ever get through as you will find many of them in our database of cases posted here: www.ssristories.NET  I urge you not to allow these victims of antidepressants to remain just numbers! Go through these stories and learn about them to see how much the world has lost by these drugs robbing us all of them and their talents they did not get to stay long enough to share with us. Remember this list is only the tip of this iceberg. Hopefully this will help you to see what Maria Malakoff meant when she said every family in this country would be affected personally by these deadly drugs. If you saw my personal list you would understand why I refer to this as a holocaust.

So to my friend Don today I would say, “Please rest in peace, we miss you, and let Lani know that her battle for truth about her death will continue to be fought until the world knows what cut her life and the lives of Del Shannon, Maria’s husband, Gary, Tucker’s sons, David and William, and oh so many others far too short!”

Paxil-Induced Murder Suicide Inspired Jennifer Anniston’s Movie “Cake”

Tim Tobin family

Tim, Deb and Alyssa Tobin

Well I don’t normally watch movies but will go watch this one since I worked on the Tobin vs Glaxo case for three plus years. Almost three of those years were spent waiting on the high profile attorney Jerry Spence to see if he would handle the case until he concluded he did not know enough about antidepressants to do the case justice. At that point Andy Vickery, who has been the lead attorney handling so many of these cases for many years, was brought in on the case. In the end the jury ruled that the two Paxil pills taken by Donald Schell before the tragedy was the main cause of Tim Tobin’s father-in-law, Donald Schell, killing his wife, daughter and infant grand-daughter before killing himself.

I actually learned about this case while testifying in the case of a woman in Western Wyoming who had shot her husband while he slept. She too was on Paxil and had no recall of what had happened but knew she must have been the one to shoot her husband as she had what she described as “a smoking gun” in her hand. So this women, described by all as the “nicest woman in town,” walked over to the Sheriff’s office and turned herself in.

Phil - Brynn Hartman

Comedian Phil Hartman and his wife, Brynn

The following morning after driving back from Wyoming the night before I woke up to the reports of the murder suicide of comedian Phil Hartman and his wife Brynn. I was shocked that the case was identical to both of these Wyoming cases from the day before. The following evening I spoke with Brynn Hartman’s family and told them why I suspected the drugs and not to stop looking until they found one of these antidepressants. Because of what I had heard about the case I felt strongly antidepressants were behind it. I was not about to have the Hartman’s children go through life without either of their parents and no answers as to why their mother had done this.

All of these cases were much too similar. Although in the Hartman case the antidepressants involved were Zoloft and Tramadol, instead of Paxil. The Hartman children’s wrongful death case did not go to court as this one did but was settled by Pfizer the manufacturer of Zoloft.

Antidepressant-Induced REM Sleep Disorder (RBD)

Although I agree that pain killers are a very serious problem I am disappointed that the drug involved in the Tobin tragedy was not addressed in this movie instead – the antidepressant Paxil. Antidepressants produce a sleep disorder called REM Sleep Disorder (RBD) where the patient has no paralysis during sleep and can act out the nightmares they are having. It has long been known to include both murder and suicide. Latest figures show that 86% of those being diagnosed with this deadly sleep disorder are taking an antidepressant. Even more frightening is that RBD has long been known as a drug withdrawal state so we could expect even more cases if the patient or their doctor does not know enough to understand that patients should wean extremely slowly off these medications to avoid the withdrawal.

Cake the Movie

Here is an introduction to the movie and background: EXCLUSIVE: The true story behind Jennifer Aniston’s Cake – how movie’s scriptwriter was inspired by the brutal murder of his brother’s wife, baby daughter and mother-in-law

Cake has been acclaimed for Aniston’s portrayal of suicidal mom hooked on prescription drugs in aftermath of car crash that killed her child

Daily Mail Online can reveal movie was written by Patrick Tobin after his brother’s young family was slaughtered by a relative

Deb Tobin and her nine-month-old daughter Alyssa were shot dead by her father, along with her mom Rita Schell, by Don Schell, her father

Tim Tobin, Patrick’s brother, found the horrific scene at father-in-law’s home in Gillette, Wyoming on Valentine’s Day, 1998

Schell was taking anti-depressant Paxil and Tim Tobin sued maker, winning $6.4m compensation after it was named ‘proximate cause’ of killings

Patrick Tobin then quit Hollywood to look after his suicidal brother and eventually wrote Cake as a result of experience

Jennifer Aniston’s career-defining performance in hit movie Cake has earned her a flurry of plaudits and award nominations.

The Friends star gives a gritty portrayal of suicidal mom Claire Bennett who is hooked on prescription drugs while struggling to live with debilitating injuries she endured in a car crash that killed her child.

When it was missed from the Oscars shortlist, many critics said it was a miss and should have been included.

But few watching the heart-wrenching Hollywood film will be aware that the screen drama is in fact inspired by a tragic and brutal real life story.

Daily Mail Online has learned that screenwriter Patrick Tobin penned the powerful movie following a devastating family tragedy that saw four of his brother’s family slaughtered.

1991 FDA Antidepressant Hearing: Mother Kills Two Sons & Attempts Suicide – Tucker Moneymaker

TuckerMoneymaker

On April 5, 1991, after only 21 days on Prozac Tucker Moneymaker’s wife Sandra, 36, shot and killed their two sons, David Lee, 8, and William, 16, while they slept before shooting herself twice in the abdomen in a suicide attempt. The bottle of Prozac was found in the room with them. Tucker had left for work at 7:00 AM and returned at 8:37 AM to find the boys dead and his wife bleeding and unconscious. Read below for the scientific data on how Prozac can cause murder/suicide.

Here is the video of Tucker Moneymaker testimony before the FDA hearing (FDA Psychopharmacologic Drugs Advisory Hearing) September 20, 1991:

And here is the text of Tucker Moneymaker’s testimony to the FDA on September 20, 1991:

DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION

FDA Psychopharmacologic Drugs Advisory Hearings

DR. CASEY: Thank you. Tucker Moneymaker, please?

MR. MONEYMAKER: Thank you. On behalf of myself and thousands of other citizens in the states of North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia, of which I happen to be the Prozac Survivor Director for these three states, I want to say thank you for allowing the public to come up here and speak and voice their opinion about this dangerous drug.

I also want to tell everybody that these are real stories, real people. This is not something written down on a piece of paper, something somebody wrote up somewhere. These are real things that are happening.

My story is also real. It’s just a real nightmare, something I have to live with every day. I had two sons, David Lee, age 8, and Billy, 16, a wife of 20 years, is all gone. I’ll tell you why. In March of this year my wife, Sandra, had some nerve problems. She was asked to go be evaluated. The doctor put her on Prozac. He told her she was depressed because she was having nerve problems.

Now, I want you to keep this in mind, how my wife was, just a little short story. My wife was the kind of mother that always put the kids first. She would take her kids back and forth to school every day. My 8-year-old never rode a school bus. My wife was tied up in the church, tied up in Cub Scouts and room mother at school.

I heard these people talking about scientific data. I want to show them some scientific data. This is scientific data right here. I want you all to look at it. This is scientific data for those who say we don’t have scientific data.

I haven’t slept but about two hours since Sunday.

I want to apologize if I sound a little shaky. After being on Prozac for 21 days, my wife shot and killed both of these two boys right here. She turned the gun on herself and shot herself herself twice. Now she’s in jail for murder.

This is the kind of lady that never took a drug, no mixed drinks, no alcohol, no reason to be depressed, just some nerve problems, like everybody has from time to time. I’m depressed. I’ve got legitimate reason to be depressed. I want to ask you all, don’t let this happen to anybody else. These are real people. You know, these murders and things are senseless. It’s time to put a stop to it.

Thank you.

HOW ANTIDEPRESSANTS CAN PRODUCE MURDER AND SUICIDE:

There are several ways. First of all they impair the metabolism of serotonin so that serotonin will build up in the synapse. And we were suppose to believe that was beneficial. But take a look at this research from the University of Southern California on excess serotonin producing extreme violence: http://www.drugawareness.org/mutant-mice-key-to-human-violence-an-excess-serotonin/

Another way it can be done is by inducing the REM Sleep Disorder (RBD) – a state in which one acts out nightmares and which has long been known to include both impulsive murder and suicide. At this point 86% of those being diagnosed with this disorder are taking antidepressants. Because of the time of day this case happened it would most likely be triggered by RBD.

Another way they can induce this type of violence is by chemically inducing a manic psychosis. In the beginning of the SSRI antidepressant era psychiatrists refused to prescribe Prozac due to its strong ability to induce mania/Bipolar Disorder. That is far from the case now though.

1991 FDA Antidepressant Hearing: Le Anne Westover Testifies of Husband Del Shannon’s Prozac Suicide

Le Anne Westover - Dell Shannon

Le Anne Westover & Husband, Charles (Del Shannon)

Everyone needs to hear these testimonies presented to the FDA in September of 1991 on the subject antidepressants causing suicide and violence. The FDA chose to ignore these testimonies that day leading to many more deaths since. My dear friend featured here, Le Anne Westover, lost her husband Charles, also known as the popular singer Del Shannon, in only two weeks to a violent Prozac-induced suicide. His senseless death, along with so many others documented both in these testimonies and this database www.ssristories.NET should NEVER be forgotten!!!

Please listen to Le Anne’s testimony here:
https://youtu.be/FiF4Pd6rat8

The following is a transcript of LeAnne’s testimony to the FDA that day:

DR. CASEY: Next is Mrs. Del Shannon, please.

MS. SHANNON: Lee Ann Westover.

DR. CASEY: Excuse me, are you Mrs. Del Shannon?

MS. SHANNON: I am Mrs. Del Shannon, yes. I am the widow Del Shannon. My husband 1990. On the evening of of Charles Westover, also known as was given Prozac on January 24 of February 8, 1990, he killed himself. I am told his death was instantaneous, but I believe his death actually began the moment he took his first dose of Prozac.

Before Prozac, my husband was very involved with people, our family, and his work. He was very much in charge of his business. But within days after he started taking Prozac I noticed a personality change in him. He showed signs of restlessness, akathisia, agitation, pacing, and his appearance was very drawn. He developed severe insomnia, extreme fatigue, chills, racing heart, dry mouth, and upset stomach. His hands would shake uncontrollably at times.

This really alarmed him. I would ask him what was wrong and his only reply was, “I don’t know, I don’t know.”

At this time my husband’s career was better than ever. He was just finishing a new album and was at his utmost creative peak. Many good things were happening in his life.

On January 24, he saw a doctor for counseling, as changes were happening rapidly. Due to these changes, he went to a doctor because he was experiencing some stress. He was given Prozac. Two weeks later I found him dead in our home. He told me, when he came home from the doctor, that he was given a new drug, “It’s not even a drug, it’s a chemical, it’s very safe. It’s supposed to help me over the hump I’m in.” The drug was Prozac.

Charles was very much against suicide. He counseled people against suicide. To him, and I quote “Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.” I want you to know suicide was totally out of character for my husband.

There was no note. The day he died he had made appointments for afternoon and evening. He had booked future and no kiss goodbye.

On February 8, my daughter and I were going to the market. He asked for some vitamins and other items that he wanted from the market. He kissed me, smiled, and we said, “See you later.” There was absolutely no warning of suicide or anything violent.

I know with absolute certainty that if Charles had any idea of the side effects of Prozac he would never have taken it. This drug is most assuredly responsible for any torment or suffering and the eventual suicide of my husband. I want people to be aware of what can happen when you take this drug Prozac.

Thank you.

DR CASEY : Thank you.

Rest in Peace Del…you are not forgotten!

PTSD TREATMENT = ANTIDEPRESSANT: Utah Veteran Kills Fiancee, Son and Self

Jordan Reeves

Jordan Reeves, 2

Sunday in Salt Lake City, Utah yet another veteran being “treated” for PTSD shot his fiancee, two year old son, and himself just before noon. Now I hope by now you can all read between the lines well enough to know that being treated for PTSD means he is getting at least one antidepressant and likely two because the VA almost always prescribes the antidepressant Trazadone as an add on treatment to “help them sleep” since they cannot sleep because of the first antidepressant they were given!

Note also that because it happened before noon it could likely be the result of REM Sleep Behavior Disorder (RBD) as these cases generally tend to happen late at night or the early morning hours. RBD is a sleep disorder where the patient lacks paralysis during sleep and allowing them to act out nightmares they are having. Shockingly 86% of those being diagnosed with RBD are currently on an antidepressant and this is not headline news as it should be.

To see how this tragedy would easily qualify as this man’s worst nightmare I share with you what his friends and those in the program with him had to say about him so you can see how completely out of character this type of violence was for this young man.

Johnathan Reeves Family

Jamie Salazar, Jordan & Johnathon Reeves

“Reeves had a prior history of domestic violence, threatening in August to kill his family. He was arrested and charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault. Reeves was placed in the veteran’s treatment program, designed to help those who have returned from their tour of duty and get in trouble with the law. Many of the court’s participants are also battling post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injuries, mental illness or addiction.

Those familiar with Reeves’ case say he was as close to a model participant as could be found. His drug tests were clean. He was attending all his court hearings and treatment sessions. And he was helping other veterans, according to court officials.

Friends said Reeves was a combat veteran with multiple deployments who loved his family.

“He was a good, kind hearted, talented young man. I don’t know why war affects even the best of men this way, but he truly was the best of men,” one man told the Deseret News.

The man, a friend of Reeves’ family, added: “We are grieving so greatly. The loss of Jamie, Johnathon and their precious child! Post-traumatic stress is the issue. How do we help these wonderful men and women veterans?

“All his family and friends knew his kind heart. He was a good man and that is evident in that he was doing so well in treatment. He really was the guy that would help someone broke down on the side of the road, or feed you if you were hungry.”

Why James Holmes Called Crisis Line to Stop Him From Committing The Shooting

James Holmes

James Holmes, Batman Shooter

Dr. Reid, the prosecution’s expert, clearly knows LITTLE about the drugs he and his colleagues regularly prescribe to patients – the same drugs prescribed to James Holmes which produce “psychosis” and “homicidal ideation” But if he admitted knowing such it would then point the blame on the drug makers and on him and his colleagues’ livelihood. Is that not a vested interest in not allowing the truth of this case to be told? If he admits the drugs pushed James Holmes into this as they have so MANY others: www.ssristories.NET are he and his colleagues any less guilty than someone who slips drugs/alcohol to someone who then commits a crime?

It has already been made public that James Holmes was on Zoloft, a Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor – the same antidepressant initially given to Eric Harris from Columbine who was taken off the drug after only six weeks because he was having thoughts of killing that greatly disturbed him. Unfortunately his doctors apparently thought if the name of the drug was different, even though it was the same type of drug/same action in the brain, it would have a different effect upon Eric and switched him to the antidepressant called Luvox. Wrong move!

Zoloft is often referred to as Prozac #2 and Luvox as Prozac #4 since they are clones to Prozac and work similarly in the brain. As you read the medical research below keep in mind that these SSRI antidepressants work by increasing levels of serotonin (5HT) in the brain. These drugs are known to produce both psychosis/schizophrenia and homicidal ideation. Ideation is a compulsion where you think obsessively of both homicide and ways to commit homicide – exactly what James Holmes described in his writings and interrogations.

When a patient suffers this adverse reaction to the medications they long for anyone to stop them because the compulsion is so strong that they cannot stop themselves. James as so many others report was doing things he hoped would lead to someone who would stop him from doing what he was being chemically compelled to do.

As you read this quote from my book Prozac: Panacea OR Pandora? – Our Serotonin Nightmare! it will help you see how similar in action these serotonergic drugs are to LSD and PCP, drugs we have seen in the past that are now illegal although once thought to be “safe and effective” while they were prescribed by physicians. This will also help explain the psychosis/schizophrenia producing effects.

“Tonge and Leonard (1969) compared phencyclidine [PCP], Ditran, mescaline and LSD and their effect upon 5-HT (serotonin) and 5-HIAA (serotonin turnover). All four drugs increased brain 5-HT (serotonin) and decreased 5-HIAA [serotonin turnover/metabolism] over a three hour period. As we pointed out before inhibition of 5-HT (serotonin) is known to result in a decrease of 5-HIAA (serotonin turnover) while it increases extraneuronal content of the 5-HT (serotonin) (Buus, et al. 1975; Nabeshima, et al. 1983). Kenneth M. Johnson in 1978, thirty years after our official introduction to PCP, recommended that, “…Because of the suggestive nature of the foregoing studies with PCP and the proposed role of 5-HT [serotonin] in emotional and psychotic behavior, it is felt that a detailed biochemical study of the effects of PCP on serotonergic function is warranted…” (PCP PHENCYCLIDINE ABUSE: AN APPRAISAL , p. 46).

“This information on elevated serotonin levels and their connection to schizophrenia would imply that Prozac and the remaining SSRIs, along with any of the drugs which raise serotonin levels [by inhibiting serotonin turnover/metabolism] should all be classed as psychotomimetic drugs, [because] over a period of use they are chemically inducing a psychosis thus mimicking schizophrenia. As early as 1986 Prozac’s potential to induce psychosis emerged when an FDA Safety Reviewer uncovered that Lilly had withheld information of psychotic episodes in 52 patients during Prozac’s clinical trials.”
