Alyssa Bustamante, 15
While on Prozac this young teenager, in an act completely out of character for her, strangled, stabbed and slit the throat of a 9 year old neighbor girl because she wanted to know what it felt like to kill someone even though she had no history of violence, was an excellent student and known to her friends as one of their sweetest and nicest friends. As a result of being medicated for four years she had a history of suicide attempts, and her intention for committing a murder/suicide was made clear by the fact she had dug TWO graves, not just one for the neighbor girl. She wrote in her diary how great it felt and then laughed saying she had to run now to go to a church dance.
Later in court she would say, “If I could give my life to get her back I would. I’m sorry.”
Alyssa is one of MANY children who have murdered someone while under the influence of an antidepressant. Please see below the link to this movie the information as to how these drugs cause such a reaction to make someone do something so completely out of character for them. A news story on Alyssa’s case can be found on our database of cases here: http://ssristories.net/archive/show96f8.html?item=3776
THE MOVIE: THE DRUGGING OF OUR CHILDREN
If you have not yet seen the Gary Null production “The Drugging of our Children” NOW is the time to do it!!!!! You will see Ann Blake-Tracy, Michael Moore, Neal Bush, Columbine victim Mark Taylor and his newly acquired friend, Corey Baadsgard, who ironically, just happens to look a lot like Eric Harris who shot Mark at Columbine, (Corey almost became a school shooter after attempting to switch from Paxil to Effexor when he blacked out and held his classmates at gunpoint for 45 minutes), etc..
This is one of the best videos yet on the problem with antidepressants being used in our youth! Please view and share with others!!!! Click below to view the full length movie. It is very well done!
DREAM OR REALITY???? ANTIDEPRESSANTS PRODUCE A DEADLY
SLEEP DISORDER KNOWN TO INCLUDE BOTH MURDER AND SUICIDE
What the world remains unaware of is the fact is that 86% of those who are diagnosed with the most deadly sleep disorder known as REM Sleep Disorder (RBD) are currently taking antidepressants. REM Sleep Disorder is a condition in which there is no paralysis during sleep thus allowing the patient to act out the dreams or nightmares they are having. Tragically 80% of those going into this sleep disorder hurt themselves or others including both murder and suicide as a result.
This is possibly the most deadly of all reactions one can have to antidepressants. Even more frightening though is to learn that before the introduction of the SSRI antidepressants RBD was known mainly as a drug withdrawal effect. Thus the chances of going into this dangerous reaction should be expected to increase as one goes into withdrawal. This is why it is so important to avoid as much of the withdrawal effects as possible by tapering off the antidepressant very, very slowly. Why are we subjecting children to any of these extremely serious and deadly reactions when many adults cannot handle it?!!
EXCESS SEROTONIN PRODUCES EXTREME VIOLENCE
What so many were not aware of is that an increase in serotonin by an accompanying decrease in one’s ability to metabolize serotonin was long known to produce both impulsive murder and suicide. See this study: http://www.drugawareness.org/mutant-mice-key-to-human-violence-an-excess-serotonin/
