To have a blood alcohol level as high as.22, more than double the legal limit, half an hour after an accident someone needs to check for an antidepressant. That is the most common cause of strong compulsions for alcohol which would produce a level that high. The antidepressants themselves also increase the alcohol level by interfering with the metabolism.
The same was the case with Princess Di’s driver, Henri Paul. I worked with the Paris police on that case helping them understand why they needed to look for an antidepressant. A week later they revealed to the world that they found that Henri Paul was indeed on Prozac.
