Katie Aurit & Her Grandsons, Mikey & AJ
Allow me to introduce my good friend Katie Aurit who has just set up a Go Fund Me Account to help those incarcerated in our prison system to obtain copies of the Bible. Katie and I met around 2006 after her son Todd, AJ’s father, had a terrible accident due to an adverse reaction to the antidepressant, Lexapro. The accident left one dead and two very seriously injured. For that they gave Todd 72 years in prison. Unfortunately Katie did not find us until after Todd’s case had already gone through the court system.
Since that time no one I know of has worked harder to find a way to help those incarcerated. She could likely easily earn a law degree at this point! She is making great headway and we hope to be able to share soon with many how to get their loved ones back home with them.
But in the meantime her son Todd has had her working on yet another project – obtaining Bibles for his cellmates. Apparently they have none – ought to get them out of all those hotel rooms where no one ever has time to read them and give them to these guys who have all the time in the world to read them! 🙂 But until that happens PLEASE visit Katie’s Go Fund Me page at the following link and help her reach her goal: http://www.gofundme.com/v9j6bg

WITHDRAWAL WARNING: In sharing this information about adverse reactions to antidepressants I always recommend that you also give reference to my CD on safe withdrawal, Help! I Can’t Get Off My Antidepressant!, so that we do not have more people dropping off these drugs too quickly – a move which I have warned from the beginning can be even more dangerous than staying on the drugs!
WITHDRAWAL HELP: You can find the hour and a half long CD on safe and effective withdrawal helps here: http://store.drugawareness.org/ And if you need additional consultations with Ann Blake-Tracy, you can book one at www.drugawareness.org or sign up for one of the memberships for the International Coalition for Drug Awareness which includes free consultations as one of the benefits of that particular membership plan.
