SSRI TRAMADOL & KLONOPIN: Driver With Double the Legal Limit Kills Two Girls

There are several SSRI and SNRI antidepressants given for different indications that stay under the radar because few know they are antidepressants. One of those is Tramadol, generally given as a pain killer. This is what Brynn Hartman, comedian Phil Hartman’s wife was on along with Zoloft, when she shot Phil and herself. When two or more serotonergic meds are given together you can greatly increase the serious interactions due to the synergistic effects. So just because you know the names of the popular antidepressants on the market, do not feel so safe not being more aware of the others that few are aware of. Educate yourselves!

We have long discussed the cravings for alcohol produced by antidepressant meds. It is such a strong craving that it causes even those who have never touched alcohol before to crave alcohol. So when you see cases like this with two to three times the legal limit of alcohol ALWAYS suspect that an antidepressant may be behind the scenes and start asking questions.

In this case the cravings for alcohol (something we know Klonopin causes as well) led to more serious interactions between medications resulting in the behavior that took the lives to two young girls, cousins Nioami Lazicki, 15, Ashley Dauber, 13. Tragically there was another girl, Nioami’s younger sister, with them who saw the car at the last minute and jumped to safety. Not sure you can call it “safety” she jumped to though when you know they will more than likely give her an antidepressant to “cope” with the deaths of her sister and cousin. And that could lead to her death as well or the destruction of her life via the horrible side effects.
