“Michaela Swan with the Interior Health Authority says it’s caring for two patients in critical condition, another two in serious condition and six others with non-life threatening injuries….RCMP say they were called just before 8:30 a.m. to a report that a man with a weapon and found the suspect already restrained, but he was unconscious and unresponsive.

Here in America the Native Americans have really been targeted with antidepressants. The rate of use must be quite high, but I have no figures on just how high but indicators of at least 50%. I am really surprised we have not had more reports of incidents, but know that tribal authoritied take care of most of those cases.
Several scenarios are possible in this case. We will need to wait to see, but an important issue to point out here is that many in attempting to overdose on these potent antidepressants are not aware that they will likely go psychotic before they die when they overdose on an antidepressant. So the possibility that the man did this attack and then died from the overdose is high. Of course he could also have died from the forceful restrainting. But this is a heads up on the wide possibility if someone is really only attempting suicide when something like this happens.
