SUICIDE DEATHS HIT A 25 YEAR ALL TIME HIGH
Now I don’t know why on earth the suicide rate would be at an all time high over the past 25 years when some of the most popular prescription drugs on the market have a Black Box Warning for suicide, do you?! Give me a break!!!!
I and our group, the International Coalition for Drug Awareness, have been tracking the cases for 25 years and building a database of the suicides (www.ssristories.NET) and it is so common to have an antidepressant behind these completely out of character suicides that coroners have been noticing it for two decades…LONG before the FDA Black Box Warning was put into place to the point of even asking when they walk into an autopsy, “So have you found the antidepressant yet?”! So NOW the CDC is finally letting us know that suicide is at a 25 year high? Just as with the FDA their warnings seem to always come way too late!
But the FDA issued the Black Box Warning for suicide with antidepressants in 2005 so why is it that so few become aware of the warning for suicide in association with antidepressant use until after their loved one has taken their own life and perhaps someone else’s life as well? It is because they are not being given that warning by their doctors as mandated by law! Perhaps someone might want to look at that problem along with the fact the warning was only given for those 25 and under when the drugs clearly don’t care what age you happen to be when they produce the toxic reaction linked to overwhelming compulsions to kill yourself.
So why this revelation from the CDC now? Is it just a push for even more of those who are feeling down and out to take these drugs with the misnomer “antidepressant” attached to them even though these drugs have listed side effects of depression, anxiety, psychosis and suicide? Can someone please explain to me why that would “help” anyone get over depression?!
Just how much longer do we as a society tolerate having prescription drugs on the market with warnings they could produce both suicide and homicide as a side effect?! The Germans missed seeing the Holocaust happening right under their noses no different than we are missing this current medication-induced holocaust happening right under our noses! Wake up America!
