ANTIDEPRESSANTS??? MICHIGAN STATE UNIV PROFESSOR STRIPS NUDE IN CLASS AFTER BEGINNING TO RANT

o-MICHIGAN-STATE-PROF-NAKED-570[1]

Arrest of Math Professor at MSU

THIS CASE WILL LIKELY HELP US TO UNDERSTAND WHY WE SHOULD NEVER UNDER-ESTIMATE THE VAST POSSIBILITIES OF ANTIDEPRESSANT INDUCED MANIA!!!

A Michigan State Math professor began cursing & ranting about computers (that is certainly understandable!) & ranting about how everything is just an act. He then began pacing up & down the hallway & screaming “There is no F-ing God!” Next he rapidly evacuated the entire classroom by coming back into the room & stipping nude, except for his socks, all the while continuing to swear a blue streak. (The cursing like a sailor is a common report we have had with antidepressant use from the beginning. Little old ladies report they began swearing which was shocking to them.)

“He made the weirdest analogies, the most notable being about beating his wife,” the student added.
Before stripping, the professor was “ranting about computers, Steve Jobs (pronounced Jobes), and how everything is just an act,” another student wrote.
The man is not being charged with a crime, but was taken to a local hospital, MSU said. Meanwhile, the school’s counseling center “has reached out to students who may have witnessed the incident to offer any support they need.”

“Used your method of weaning off of SSRI’s and applied it to Ambien. Took 6 months but had been on 15 mg for years so what was another 6 months. I have been sleeping without it for 2 weeks and it is the first time I have been able to sleep drug free for 15 years. What a relief to be able to lay down and sleep when I need or want to. Ambien may be necessary for people at times but doctors giving a months worth of it at a time with unlimited refills is a prescription for disaster. It is so damn easy to become dependent on. Thanks for your council Ann.”… Mark Hill

BAN ON DRIVING FOR ANTIDEPRESSANT USERS? STUDY INDICATES 70% INCREASED RISK OF ACCIDENTS

article-0-04CBD181000005DC-108 233x381[1]

As usual early warnings about driving risks went unheeded.

FINALLY someone has done a study to investigate the problems with antidepressants & car accidents….and it only took 25 years since the drugs were introduced to get around to someone doing it! Let’s put it on record here that I approached a group focusing on prescription drug DUIs in 1991 asking them to seriously consider looking at the problems with Prozac & driving. Obviously it fell on deaf ears as so many other warnings I have given over the years.

When I first began interviewing patients about their reactions to the SSRI antidepressants in the early 90’s I stopped driving on freeways whenever possible. Why? Because patient after patient reported that although back then it was not allowed for pilots to fly planes while on SSRIs, they while on Prozac were:

#1 “flying their cars” down freeways,

#2 “having compulsions to ram other cars” as they drove the freeway, and

#3 “dreaming while driving” and having little recollection of how they got from Point A to Point B.

I also began watching my rear view mirror closely to make sure no one dreaming on Prozac had neglected to include my car in their dream so that they could react properly & allow for it being in front of them.  And  I began watching for cars coming at me going the wrong direction since so many attempted suicide reports came in of crossing into oncoming traffic & driving on the wrong side of the road to attempt suicide.

I would also encourage you to read the Road Rage document written by Rosie Meysenburg & posted in the mid 90’s on our www.drugawareness.org website.

From this recent study we learn:

“They have found that taking common antidepressants such as Prozac and Seroxat [Paxil] heightens the risk by 70 per cent.

AND in looking at drugs like Xanax, Valium, Ambien, & the newer atypical antipsychotics like Zyban, Abilify, Geodon, Risperdol, etc. the antidepressants are far worse: “Those taking a common group of antidepressants known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) which include Prozac and Seroxat [Paxil] were 72 per cent more at risk.”

But what if someone had just started on an antidepressant?

According to the study: “Even patients who have only been on the pills for a few hours are far more likely to have a crash if they get behind the wheel.”

Now keep in mind that patients are told when they are given an antidepressant that it will take two weeks before the “beneficial” effects begin to appear. Bear in mind that the adverse effects DO NOT wait two weeks to appear. This is one example. The Paxil-induced murder/suicide case of Donald Schell is another glaring example after the jury ruled after hearing all the evidence (which few have ever heard), that taking only two Paxil pills over two days was the main cause of him shooting his wife, daughter, infant granddaughter, & himself. (Read more on this case called Tobin vs Glaxo Smith Kline at www.justiceseekers.com)

Two years ago I got a report out of Utah where the officer in a Ogden, Utah area reported that in a one month period he had 150 DUIs issued. ONE of those involved alcohol & all the rest were prescription drugs! But many remain unaware that you can face a DUI for driving while taking one of these medications. And now these researchers were so completely appalled by what they found in the way of impairment of driving skills by antidepressants that they are recommending that users be banned from driving!

Ban all antidepressant users from driving?

“Researchers say the study shows that doctors should be banning patients from getting behind the wheel as soon as they put them on a course of drugs.”

Now that would certainly clear up traffic congestion in Utah, Oregon, Washington, Michigan, Florida, & North Carolina – long known as hot spots for these meds! But the use of these drugs is so widespread at this point it would likely clear the traffic nationwide & if imposed in Australia, 25% of the Australian parliament would have to take a cab to work. I am sure far more American law makers would have to do the same!

What is even more frightening to consider is that truck drivers, bus drivers, taxi drivers, and now pilots are allowed to take these medications that severely impair driving skills.

Revisiting Princess Di’s Death

Remember that Princess Di’s driver, Henri Paul was on Prozac. When I saw his blood alcohol level of three times the legal limit coupled with the reports from his family that he was not a drinker yet was drinking hard enough to be on a medication like antabuse, I knew he had to be taking Prozac. It was the only thing that added up. (See my article on SSRIs & alcohol cravings as an excerpt from my book just below the book picture at www.drugawareness.org)

So I called the police in Paris & explained that Prozac was the only thing I knew that would cause someone to crave alcohol like that & raise the level of alcohol so high in a man who was reportedly a non-drinker. The following week the Paris police announced publicly that they had confirmed that Henri Paul was indeed on Prozac at the time of the crash that took the lives of Princess Di & Dodi Al-Fayed. This report only adds to my conclusion that Prozac was the main cause for their deaths with the chances of an accident being increased by 70% with Prozac alone & who knows by what percent with the alcohol cravings producing a synergistic effect between the alcohol & Prozac & forcing the blood alcohol content even higher than normal.

Was there a failure to warn by manufacturers? Without a doubt!

“Although some manufacturers put warning notices on boxes telling patients their judgment may be impaired, they don’t specifically tell them not to drive.
“But it is now thought that the same chemical changes that improve mood among those who take the pills also slows down reaction times.”

That last sentence should read: “But it is now thought that the same chemical changes that DESTROY mood among those who take the pills also slows down reaction times.” But if they have not yet read my book, Prozac: Panacea or Pandora? Our Serotonin Nightmare they likely are not yet aware of that fact either.

ANTIDEPRESSANT: SIX DEAD: DAMIAN RZESZOWSKI NOT GUILTY IN MASS MURDER CASE

N0439001344860140469A[1]

This beautiful little girl is Kinga Rzeszowski (5) who was stabbed to death along with her mother, younger brother, maternal grandfather, friend & her friend’s mother by her father who then stabbed himself 40 times even to the point of collapsing one of his lungs, then slashed his throat & wrists another 20 times! A jury in the UK has just found him not guilty of murder, but guilt of the lesser charge of manslaughter. A day or two before the murder he had overdosed on antidepressants. Few realize that as the serotonin rises you have an LSD or PCP reaction because the body reacts to LSD or PCP as a rush of serotonin. They mimic serotonin. There is little difference when antidepressants force the serotonin level too high! Would anyone have been surprised by his actions had he been taking PCP? Of course not! But they remain CLUELESS when it comes to this similar effect with antidepressants!!! So clueless that he continues taking a cocktail of drugs in prison – a common theme in these antidepressant-induced tragedies.

After two decades of testifying & consulting in these antidepressant-induced violent murders & suicides it amazes me how absolutely ignorant the entire world remains, including the court system, to the connection & true cause of such incomprehensible violence!!! I have worked Columbine & MANY other US school shootings, comedian Phil Hartman & his wife’s murder/suicide & MANY more murder/suicides wiping out entire families, Andrea Yates’ case & MANY other mothers who have killed their children over the past 20+ years. Yet the courts & everyone else seem to continue to remain ignorant of the fact that antidepressants cause you to act out your worst nightmare in a sleep state called a REM Sleep Behavior Disorder (RBD). Of those being diagnosed with RBD 80% hurt themselves or someone else & 86% of those diagnosed with RBD were found to be taking an antidepressant. It antidepressant is the single most common denominator in these cases, yet it seems the whole world is failing the simple math in this case!

How do the pharmaceutical companies keep these cases suppressed the way they do?! They have LONG known their drugs cause these tragedies. The large numbers of secret settlements remain hidden from the public so you are not aware how often they happen. Goggle ssristories to see a database of just a few all too similar cases. (Especailly note the Donald Schell case in Wyoming) So WHO is guilty of premeditation in this case? Do you really think Damian Rzeszowski was warned that taking an antidepressant could possibly cause this? NO! And few other patients have ever been warned either!

You can continue to cry for vengeance upon this man or any of the others instead of looking at the true guilty parties in this horrific tragedy, but mark my words … in doing so the cost may be your life or the life of a loved one someday soon.! This is a serious public safety issue! When is someone near you on an antidepressant going to slip into a toxic nightmare (literal nightmare of RBD) & include you in that nightmare?

Look how many times this man stabbed himself! even to the point of collapsing his lung! That cannot happen without this frenzied drug state! He had just overdosed on these drugs. Tragically, few are aware that the brain goes dead before the body in an overdose with antidepressants. Why was he released from the hospital before the full toxic effect of the rising serotonin hit him to cause this psychotic reaction?

WARNING: If you are taking an antidepressant you must know that it is more likely that this violent sleep disorder, RBD, is more common in withdrawal .So, weaning off an antidepressant MUST be VERY, VERY gradual (months or years, rather than days or weeks) so as to avoid this serious toxic reaction.

Psych exam ordered

A New Brunswick man accused of a violent

assault Friday will undergo a psychiatric assessment.

Corey Thomas
Goodine, 35, appeared briefly in provincial court Monday to face a Nov. 13 count
of aggravated assault, alleging an attack on a minor.

Duty counsel Joseph
FitzPatrick asked the court Monday to send Goodine for a 30-day psychiatric
assessment to determine if he’s fit to stand trial or might be exempt from
criminal responsibility for his alleged actions.

He said Goodine’s
sister, a social worker, informed him that Goodine has been diagnosed with a

chemical imbalance and takes medication for depression.

Crown prosecutor
Cameron Gunn didn’t oppose the request.

Judge Julian Dickson ordered the
assessment.

Goodine will return to court Dec. 16.

After an
incident at St. Mary’s First Nation on Friday, an arrest warrant was issued for
Goodine.

He turned himself in later that day in Perth
Andover.

DR. IRVING KIRSCH: EXPLODING THE ANTIDEPRESSANT MYTH

Antidepressants: medical boon or
bust?

The Biomedical Ethics Unit of the Faculty of Medicine is
proud to present Dr. Irving Kirsch who will deliver a lecture titled “The

Emperor’s New Drugs: Exploding the Antidepressant Myth,” on Oct. 14.

When asked about the subject matter of his lecture, Dr. Kirsch, a Psychology
professor at the University of Hull, in England, said this. “Antidepressants
work – everyone knows they do. That’s what I thought too, until my colleagues
and I analyzed the clinical trial data. When I obtained the unpublished as well
as published data from the Food and Drug Administration, I found that what
everyone knew about antidepressants was wrong. Instead of treating depression
with drugs, we’ve been treating it with suggestion. A thorough review of the

research demonstrates that the chemical imbalance theory of depression is wrong.
The effect of antidepressant drugs is independent of their chemical composition.
Depression can be treated more effectively and more safely without drugs.”

The Emperor’s New Drugs; Oct. 14; 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. 3647 Peel St., room
101. Lecture is free, all are welcome. For more information contact Audrey M.

Samples of Zoloft and Xanax turn Brother into Criminal

I am unforgiving of a medical profession who cares so little for the very human beings that they swore to help.”

After 9 long and horrible years you cannot know the relief that I am feeling after reading about all the experiences that I have read tonight.

My brother is currently serving a twenty-year sentence for a crime so completely and totally out of character for him that I am still astounded.

This was a young man who could be considered irresponsible and unmotivated at worst, at least until he started taking the prescription drugs Zoloft and Xanax.

After a period of depression that I knew then and know now to have been brought on my a sense of low self esteem my brother went to a doctor he had never been to before and explained how he was feeling. This doctor determined in less than thirty minutes of knowing my brother that what he had was “a chemical imbalance in his brain”. This man sent him home with an entire sample box of Zoloft and an entire box of Xanax. He promised my brother that he would be a brand new man in three months. He did not lie. Three months later my brother was someone that I did not know.

Buddy Joe never drank, ever. He just didn’t like it. Yet after taking the drugs for a while he began to crave alcohol. He started introducing himself to new people using the name Austin. When we questioned him he would say that he just liked the name better. He was never, and I want to stress the never part, violent. So what he was becoming was an agitated alcoholic named Austin.

He had been out all night drinking and I later learned through friends acting extremely wild. He came home and committed a crime that I still find too difficult to actually go into. He says he remembers that night like a strobe light blinking off and on in his head.

I have spent nine years knowing that the Zoloft was behind the events leading up to that night and I am so thankful to have read the different stories sent in by so many people with different and yet similar experiences.

My heart breaks for those who have lost those that they love to the horrors of these medications. But I am unforgiving of a medical profession who cares so little for the very human beings that they swore to help.

Thank you all for sharing your stories.

Sincerely,

Annette Royce
